98% of streams are spin wheels duck races ects. 2% are singles It's just to feed gambling addiction and when anybody gets a good deal they magically have payments get cancelled (happened to me early on there)
I’ve never had anything like that happen to me. There are so many items at wholesale or below prices. I don’t go anywhere else to buy cards Pokémon stuff for my son & it’s very dependable. Always had my orders come in time & the shipping is amazing with extra bubble wrap
I made it a point to not announce that I was selling on whatnot to my viewers. I didn’t want to be that guy. I’ve done decent selling there and lots of people have gotten great deals from my streams (like 32X games for $1). I’ve also got some great deals and some scarce items and met some cool people. I like they daytime streams M-F because there generally aren’t a lot of people in them. I’m still a tad conflicted about the platform, but some of those big UA-camrs have also bought lots of stuff from me and I definitely appreciated that.

If you type a number and leave it nothing happens. If you type number in box and hit confirm it immediatley makes the bid that price. Meaning i wont get it cheaper if people bid lower. Ive been trying to figure it out forever. Appreciate it man

ROTFLMMFAO!!!! I just got blocked from entering givvys on Whatnot because I won to many give aways LOLOLOL.... Seems like if you figure out HOW to win them, they block you. I am going to post a video on how to win them as I figured it all out pretty well. I did win over 60 givvys in three days.
The problem I see now with WhatNot with lower viewed streams is that sellers are starting their auction now at the price they want or selling something that is still available in retail at lower MSRP. It's insane the logic that most of these resellers operate by. It's one thing to auction off a chase figure that's hard to find, but to list the same WWE Basic figure for $35 when you can get it in Walmart for $11 is ridiculous.
I’ve been on there for 3 months now. I mainly just buy Funko and plushes. I’ve gotten some deals and steals and resold for a lot. I’ve met some awesome peeps on the Funko side who have been so awesome. I’ve really been loving whatnot but def gotta watch out like you said about the ytubers who overpay way too much. I hate when sellers don't list their stuff. It's always "bundle one, two, etc" - I'm not sitting in a stream waiting to see what kind of common Wii games you got for sale. I got some good deals on Nintendo Power Magazines. The notifications are garbage though. I missed out on an item because the notification went up and the auction was already over.

There are a few dishonest Whatnot sellers and some who may be honest but sell so much they short items in your orders. This has happened to me by 3 different sellers. If you buy items on Whatnot be sure and write down what you are supposed to get. Many sellers do not properly describe what they sell and simply write general descriptions like "lincon cent#1, Lincoln cent#2, etc. In one case I bought a 1922D Lincoln cent for less than $10, and it was somehow conveniently MISSING! Same with a 1922 peace dollar I bought from another seller for $22, also MISSING. Then I had an entire shipment missing from a seller who just throws coins in an envelope with no packing list. Buyers have little recourse when we complain about missing items. The sellers who were paid by you can simply block you for complaining and you have to hope Whatnot will step in. So far Whatnot has been dragging their feet after I have spent about $5000.00 on that platform.

The thing about the music.. because its on the phone, when there is dead air.. there's a noise that shows up between sounds. Sellers are strongly encouraged to have music in the background. That said, it doesn't need to be loud.
My first purchase on whatnot was a card that sold then the buyer decided it didn't sell for enough and he reran the auction after canceling my order after payment went through. It was the fucking slabathon from like the first day of the app, whatnot is a huge fucking scam they didn't give me shit as compensation for fucking me over..
I'm not probably gonna buy anything but I love watching the auctions. And I also agree with the music part. If it was something cool like Pantera that would be one thing but more often than not it's something horrible😮💨
