Watching your videos these last two weeks man, you're fun, I haven't played D2 in like what, 20-15 years and it's still great, your vids inspired me to reinstall. I sense a lot has changed, a lot more items seem to be dropping from what I remember, guess it's the /players 8 thing. Anyway, any chance you could give advice on what sort of items a werewolf fury druid could use on late normal / early-to-mid nightmare ? Most "guides" focus only on end game
Really depends what you can get your hands on, but "Black" or "Strength" are great for crushing blow. Also Rhyme Shield has cannot be frozen. You'll want some sort of CBF attribute somewhere.
I recently started watching you after I saw an AGDQ run somewhere. Now I want to find my old CD's and get back into DII. They've gotta be around here somewhere... Just keep being awesome.
I started Plugy a week a ago. Was mfin Mephi NM, no luck, Andi NM no luck, Andi Hell, no luck, Mephi Hell, no luck. So I started Pindel runs now. Now my sorc has DF but no Tschako or even Occu :P
Question @mrllamasc: If you find a legendary malet like you did, wouldnt it be better to just id it and if it is not schaefers start to farm the other bosses? i mean, there is the possibility that its just the thing you are looking for and you spare some time. Or am i wrong here and it can drop a second time if you id it? As i am righting this question i got another: If an item drops eth, can it drop a second time non eth? i think not cause its just a roll of the item?
1. We knew that was stone crusher because it was Eth. But yes I could just ID it if non-eth and then continue to farm if not Schaeffers. 2. Can't drop eth and non-eth of same unique. The Eth addition is added later on after the item is chosen
I surveyed a few hundred viewers to see the content they wanted and more of them preferred speedruns and holy grail sorc and stuff instead of the Dailies. So I'll still make some Dailies/guides here and there but not daily as before.
To be honest, I think that it was a work in progress. The content was solid. Maybe it was hard to make, though. What I was personally looking forward to most was item analysis Applications: Silkweaves? Hmmm they seem overrated to me. What does llama think? I look at Ormus Robes and think, "is this one worth keeping?" LLD/MLD items -- I pick up rings and chuck em only to learn they're worth a lot. Like, here's Twitchthroe ... look at these mods ...25% higher block? Useful! Anyways, as long as you're still streaming, it's all good but... I'm sad to see the Dailies go. Watched em all. Learned a lot on Pro Thursdays. Probably the biggest takeaway was from racks. I had a game on SP where a rack dropped CVs as I entered from the top right. Because of what I learned during the dailies, I farmed the fuck outta that rack. TLDR: More content to flesh out, but thanks so far!
MrLlama, you surveyed stream watchers. many people don't like streams, or those platforms, but are watching your materials on youtube. you can try to put a survey here and i'm sure votes are gonna be very different. especially when you give for it few days instead of few minutes on stream to reach 100. and yeah, like Jon. i' was looking forward for ie. pro thursdays. you came with few great topics, and then BAM! only racks explained... put a vid explicit for YT with survey for your viewers here and you'll see.
Hey MrLama! Just a quick question. I had a unique sacred armor drop recently in Ancient Tunnels but not from a unique or champion pack, just a regular zombie if i recall it correctly. So i suspected that it couldn't be Tyreals Might but i checked the other level85 and some lvl84 areas in the same game hoping for another unique sacred armor drop but it did not happened. I identified the armor and it was the Templars. My question is this: which rule is stronger? - the rule that says a unique item cannot drop twice in the same game or the rule that determines that a Tyreals Might drops only in TC87? I mean is it possible that if two unique sacred armor drops in one game (but none of them from TC87 monsters) the first rule overwrites the latter so one of them will be Tyreals? Thx.
So what actually happened here was the qlvl of the monster you killed wasn't high enough to drop the tyrael's might. it is qlvl 87, so when the drop occurred the game looked at all possible unique sacred armors that could drop and said "templars might, and that's it." If you found another unique sacred armor from a mlvl87 monster, it would be guaranteed tyraels might since templar's might was no longer a viable option. If it came from a monster with mlvl86 or below, it would be a rare item with 3x durability because templar's might is the only option and that was taken already in that game.
MrLlama, you should look into getting a vertical mouse, google it that way, might look weird and funny but at least for browsing it's gonna do magic for your arpg wrists, I wouldn't fully recommend for playing unless you get used but having both and switching back and forth should be enough for helping you with those damn wrists pains. btw did you already got all runes or are you missing some?
If you're doing Plugy runs, how about a throw barb. I seem to recall you saying you were going to do one a while back, but I didn't see it, maybe I missed it?
That's an incorrect statement. Every piece of mf is necessary UNLESS it decreases your kill speed and survivability to the point where it yields fewer magics per hour than you would get with less. You can kill pindle with a lvl 60 naked char, so, basically 1000% mf would still be decent.
I got into speedrunning thanks to your twitch and now I'm running my own holy grail, all in preparation for D2R! Cheers Llama you're brilliant
i wonder how many people are going to klll them self cause they wasted their life speed rushing video games lol.

I was farming Pindle in 2021 when this was in my recommended... I see you FBI agent

Just keep being awesome.
If you registered way back when, you can get the 26 char key from Bliz site. Then lots of place to get d2 and Lod dl and back in business.
Yeah I figured that out shortly after my comment, and felt pretty stupid XD
Sniff snoff little Boyle.
Teleporting in town would be like driving your truck inside your living room. 50:25-51:00.
I watch your video while I farm Pindleskin, I have to get used to the rarity of loots, I've been playing Diablo 3 for years lol
yay! finally some magic finding colorful items :D
Funny. While watching you farm the game for more mallets, a legendary mallet dropped for me on Pindle randomly.
I'm so sad we can't speed run anymore due to temp bans... :(
Would the results be much different if you only had around 300MF?
Not THAT much different but you might as well stack as much mf if it's pindle
leave pindleskin alone! hes been killed so many times its tragic

Llama, not sure what's going on with the schedule
Where's the Llama Dailies?
Jon Osterman Yes seriously, I was loving that, coming home hoping a new one was posted. Please bring back the D2 dailies Mr.Llama
I surveyed a few hundred viewers to see the content they wanted and more of them preferred speedruns and holy grail sorc and stuff instead of the Dailies. So I'll still make some Dailies/guides here and there but not daily as before.

riesabass that's a valid point. No revenue from yt tho. Not that Llama does it for the money. I never watch streams, but fiendishly watch yt content
Not sure if you got this question yet, but is this comparable to battle net ladder play?
love the streams!

wow, 3x durability rare sounds pretty useless
anyway, thx for the response :)
how do I stop youtube from putting your videos after anything d2 related
Damn Llama, you need to do some stash organizing
lookin like dbrunskii over here
ahh pindleskin. took me 17k tries to get the windforce lol.
Took me 2+ years to find it, and then I found it again immediately after
as i played this video I was also killing Pindal just to switch Mephisto for some time... i got Verdungo's belt as best item in about same 100 runs
This week I also got a portal shrine but it didn't make a portal. On SP Plugy.
Must have been blocking the spawn location of it somehow

still missing Jah and Zod!
nice Grim Llamamancer playmat! I have the same one :D
Podrias desirme como ampliar el inventario para la vercion 1.13
What is that inventory mod? I see it everywhere, but I don't know it's name
plugy
If you're doing Plugy runs, how about a throw barb. I seem to recall you saying you were going to do one a while back, but I didn't see it, maybe I missed it?
Potentially!
Will we be able to do this on d2r???
what version are you playing?
Can I have download link?
1.13c w/ plugy. Can google plugy mod!
Why does it looks so much better than the D2R "legacy" mode ?
Because the graphics in the Legacy Mode ar based on LoD 1.0. In this Video its D2 in his latest patch Version + the fixed Resolution in Legacy Mode.
@@leetogo3333 very interesting. thank you for your honest answer my friend
52:20 :D
why the heck do you people pronounce nagel as najel
Why does pindle drop so few unique items compared to other uniques? I run him and he never drops uniques.
he's only 1 monster so it takes a while to drop uniques, but he has good drop chances on nice items
The problem with pindleskin is that he's so easy to get to and your only killing a few monsters. You need to do 1000s of runs to get good stuff
He's one of the easiest mobs in game with a high tc, he will always be run by many.
He's also guarnteed to drop 2 items
harmony bow on switch for vigor aura to run faster to pindle tp since you not switchin to cta anyway to prebuff. 🙂🙂🙂
wasn't using CTA here but rather was using my dmg setup on my main for faster kills. But Harmony could work well, just need to find a base
Too much mf…
crap, tryed to do the same, i'm temp banned... too many game launched in 1 hour, thats do ridiculous
yea gotta do on singleplayer for this speed of it
@@MrLlamaSC they banned to August 19, that's insane lol..
Your HP is 133...8. Because your 1 better than 1337 ELITE. Happy Hunting Mr.Llama
800% doesn't seem necessary
That's an incorrect statement. Every piece of mf is necessary UNLESS it decreases your kill speed and survivability to the point where it yields fewer magics per hour than you would get with less. You can kill pindle with a lvl 60 naked char, so, basically 1000% mf would still be decent.
Proof that MF directly increases unique drop rates?
I definitely noticed a difference around 300, but 800?... Just thinking out loud not being neg nancy.
