I’m so glad I found you. I have a newly purchased 23 inch tall white flower Crown of Thorns. It’s not bushy at all. It’s just straight up but yet at the top there’s probably 3 inches of leaves and offshoots so I am so glad I saw this because I can make cuttings from the offshoots. Did not damage that beautiful 23 inch stem.!!! Thank you!!!
I have this plant by my apartment I will take some cuttings!! Thanku for this video, my grandmother has a few of these plants and they are so big and beautiful!!
you video was very nice, Iam trying to propagate my plant I was only sent one cutting in my order so I followed the steps to plant, will it root, I have watched it since March 7th?
I put a cutting of euphorbia mili in a mixgure of 50% sand, 50% soil and a spoon of compost. It is just two days now. I kept it in shade. But the leaves are turning yellow and dull. Will it grow?
Yes, it will. Avoid overwatering. Water only when the soil feels dry. And it's ok if the cuttings dropping leaves. Make sure the stem is not rotting or drying..
I got few cuttings from my friend who lives in other state. Courier took 6 days to reach me. All the leaf became black and decayed. I put all the cuttings in fungicide for few minutes and then dried them for an hour and repot it. Is there any chances of it to survive?
I’ve had mine for years, got from a grandmother. This year, it has all dried out and only has a few green tips. What should I do? Really don’t want to lose it, it’s very sentimental since grandmother is no longer with us. HELP!
If possible, take cuttings, or cut out the green portion and propagate it. Because once a euphorbia plant starts to rot or dry, it can damage your entire plant. ☘️☘️☘️🌻🌱🌱
Hello, I mentioned that the size of the cuttings should be at least 2-3 inches long. It means, you need to take cuttings 2-3 inches long or more than 2/3 inches long but not less than 2 inches. 🙂🙂 And if you have any doubt about propagating small cuttings then check this video 👉ua-cam.com/video/L6pmEe3K6zw/v-deo.html You will notice that 3 cuttings out of the 5 are around 3-4 inches long and propagated successfully.🙂 Appreciate your question 💐💐
@@Plantalogy I ordered few cuttings online which were around 2-3 inches. There were 7 cutting only 1 survived which was more than 3 inch. I don't know what was the reason maybe excessive heat or size of the cutting
Oh, that was sad😓 Try sand media, and water only when 70% of the soil is dry. And yes, extreme heat can dry or rot the cuttings fast..😓 However, try again. Fall is the best time to start euphorbia from cuttings😊

After taking cutting, it should leave under sun or shade for 24 hours to heal root plz reply
Keep under shade. As soon as the cut area callus, you can insert into the growing media. 💐💐

If the stems are still firm, and juicy then the cuttings will grow back.😊😊🌻🌻🌻
@@Plantalogy stems looking fine but no leaf on top.
@@utube1697 it's all right, they will sprout soon with the proper maintenance 😊🌻🌻🌻

I used regular soil and didn't water it yet. I have 8 cuttings got from the neighbor.
No problem. Avoid too much watering. Always keep the media dry to touch.. Best of luck🙂🙂❤️❤️
