@bee Humans are carnivore mammals, that's a fact. Now, being vegetarian is a choice and nobody can force you not to be one. I have had several vegetarians tell me that, it's a healthier lifestyle. I told all of them "Really? Well cows are vegetarians and those heifers are huge!"
Just because an animal is huge doesn't make them unhealthy. Look at elephants and gorillas. Those animals are huge, but not unhealthy. Also, you know one trait those animals share? They're both vegetarians. I believe the term you are looking for is "overweight". The reason they are "overweight" is because of the factory farming industry over feeding them and not allowing them to excercise. I'm pretty sure you would be overweight too if you were locked in a tiny cell not allowing any movement what-so-ever. Do some research. You may be surprised by your level of ignorance.

There was an episode of the Bernie Mac Show where they went to a friends house for Thanksgiving and they were Vegetarians. Bernie Mac nephew snuck in some turkey and they ate it on the sly. Funny episode.
Its the same bolth ways around. I am a vegetarian and i cant go a week without someone at school trying to get me to eat meat because "i don't know what I'm missing out on." Then they get mad at me because i say i cant I'm vegetarian and they say "god i hate vegetarians they are always talking about how their lifestyle is better than mine and always pushing me to be a vegetarian" So it is not always the vegetarians that are trying to push people to change their lifestyle.
I have been a vegan for a little over a year now. However, when I ate meat I can say it was extremely annoying when people would push their vegetarian/vegan beliefs onto me. Now that I'm on the other side of the equation, I can say it's even worse when they aren't supportive of your choices and exclude you from the family. Literally every holiday or birthday I've spent with family and friends, there was nothing I could eat that they made and or was being served at a restaurant. Also, to top it all off, they would chastise me for my beliefs and make fun of who I am. I would have points in life when I would have to go hungry at dinner with family until I got home. I would be up late cooking and wake up tired the next day. That is why I understand this woman trying to push her beliefs onto her family. She shouldn't do that, but based on my situation her family is probably pushing their beliefs onto her and want to make her eat meat.

Jerod M so I have just hit the half year mark for being a vegan and I did it for my health. And it was so hard for me at first because I still craved meat so having a plant based substitute that simulates meat actually helped a lot because I was able to eat that and the craving would subside and over a period of a few months the cravings went away entirely so now I’m just eating more things like kale and tofu and eggplant and I still eat the plant based burger but only when that is the only thing on the menu. So what I am trying to say is it helps when in the transition into changing the diet and learning what other foods you like that don’t contain any animals
LOL, I agree with Steve on this. The holiday season is the wrong time to try and trick people with eating vegetarian food. I'm also from the South...tofu isn't part of the Southern menu...you take a Southern person's turkey...that tofu and you are gonna be kungfu'ed out of the house
I showed this to my gran we’re all Texas folk she said I dare you bring a woman home and she attempt to feed me tofu. She went on describing very detailed ways upon disposing of such
I have been a vegetarian for almost 7 years, I made the decision realizing that most people eat meat and dont know how to cook vegetarian meals. So I go every where prepared with food for myself, if some one wants to be nice and make something for me great, if not; no problem I got myself covered. It was my life style choice and I dont expect other people to cater to me.
My mom always hosts holiday get-togethers at her place and my sister is vegan (the rest of us are not). My mom always makes a couple of vegetarian dishes to go along with the turkey, roast beef, ham, or whatever she is making. Or, if you are a vegan, you can bring your _own_ vegan dish to share with everyone. I can't believe this lady's family _only_ has meat dishes as she says. I'm sure they also have mashed potatoes, vegetables, salad, etc.
I'm a vegetarian myself, but I don't force people to be like me. I just cook or bring what I can eat, or don't go to family gatherings lol. And as for Artemis below....stop generalizing. Eat what you want but don't force other people to eat what you eat if they're not interested.
How does someone survive without meat anyways 0-0. That sounds like a terrible existence "yeah let's eat the those vegitarian sandwiches! Two loafs of bread and a lettuce leaf !!!!"
we don't "unnecessarily" kill animals, us humans and omnivores kill animals to actually eat them, maybe if you were a normal human being you would have realized that by now.
+Oxēłã S.A When killing animals is not necessary for human survival, yes, it is unnecessary. Do you know the definition of unnecessary? Anyone who does would know meat falls in that category. Also, humans are physiologically herbivores, that's besides the point.
As a vegetarian myself. I don't force my relatives to become vegetarian. I just enjoy my meatless cheeseburger and my cousin enjoys his 8 regular cheeseburgers.
I'm a vegetarian & I firmly believe in letting people make their own decisions. If you want to eat meat, please go ahead!! I ain't ever gonna stop you from doin' what you wanna do! As far as holiday meals with family are concerned, either eat a little something at home before you go or (if you can't do that) make a couple of veggie dishes that the whole family can enjoy -- like sauteed veggies with different seasonings, hot spinach/artichoke dip, veggie casserole, pasta w/ veggies, etc...
I don't mind going vegan, and eating meat once a week, but what I don't like is their constant farting, and it smells like cabbage. never really looked at cabbage the same way since you know.
If vegetarians loved animals so much then why do they keep eating all their food? You see, this is why we eat animals, we're being merciful so that they don't die a painful death of starvation!
For the Laughs actually for Muslims they kill them mercifully, they have to lay it down and say a few prayers and then kill it with a knife that's facing north, they won't eat meat unless it's killed that way, if it was shot or tortured they aren't allowed to eat it according to Islam. as for sea food though, because when they catch it it's already did there's an acception. but only sea food cause they die when they're out of water.. the point is you can be from other religions and eat halal meat, halal meat you can be sure that the animals were treated well.
She would go to the length of lying to her family on thanksgiving and force them to endure boiled grass on a plate just to get back at them for them not giving her a vegetarian dish? I think this girl is a bit psychotic if you ask me.
Make a vegetarian dish, bring that to family gatherings so you can eat it. Offer it to people as an alternative. Take their response as an answer and don't try to pressure them into doing something they don't want to do.
This girl crazy. I am a true bipolar and my brain and energy level know when its missing meat. The times I have gone 2-3 days without meat, I am VERY hostile, and it' s best to just not over work me or talk to me. Steve said it right, "you gonna get stabbed"
I agree. I'd be mad if a relative decided to take over the cooking for Christmas and they decide to leave meat out. That's cruel and unusual punishment.
if you are a vegetarian, that's great. for the animals, for the world, probably even for your health. but don't try to force it on others, it's their own choice. and throw away that tofu turkey crap. if you don't want to eat real turkey, don't "pretend" with fake crap..
I love tofu turkey!!! 😩😩🙏🏾 especially wit some Louisiana hot sauce 😩❤️ My family vegetarian- we just cook/but food before we go or if it's a big dinner our family normally buys stuff for us to eat. When people come to our house we tell them bring their own meat. Microwave it in the microwave. We have a separate lil grill for meat eaters for barbecues at our crib. Don't want all that animals fat and grease stuck to ours 🤚🏾😷
I would simply and politely refuse to eat it. To do this to people is just plain rude and inconsiderate. I had to go to a wedding once that was vegetarian and I could not wait to get out of there. Being a vegetarian is all well and good but don't try to push it down my throat because my heals are going to be dug in solid.
Why can't she just make a vegetarian dish to contribute to the overall meal and leave the relatives with their meat.
That's exactly what I was thinking.
guruchess i
Because that will make sense.

I showed this to my gran we’re all Texas folk she said I dare you bring a woman home and she attempt to feed me tofu. She went on describing very detailed ways upon disposing of such
I need you to practice leaving quickly...😂😂😂😂😂🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃
I live in Hawaii and I know for a fact that it I were to eeeeever pull this crap with my family, I'm definitely getting stabbed.
Rahja dat cuz!
did she put her eyebrows on with a paint roller?
ikr
Nope she shaved her hairline with one.
That "AINT NO DAMN TURKEY" killed me 🦃😂
Girl I feel u I’m only vegetarian in my family but the trick is being your own food uncooked so you can grill it there and bring ur own tiny grill
a nice family gathering goes bad...
She ain't bout to be invited to any family event from now on smh
Tofu done well is great and everything, but c'mon now... gotta have that turkey.
*President of Turkey should lodge a protest against killing of Turkeys.*
i love MEAT
Saud J Preach! I love me some meat!
I like how she's vegetarian or whatever but has a fur coat
0:28 best soundbite ever
This girl is selfish. Just because she doesn't eat meat she wants to lie about fake meat. She could take her own food or not go to family gatherings.
Considering the fact that the parents are from the South, they'd probably disown her.
to vegetarians/vegans: STOP TRYING TO PUSH YOUR BELIEFS ON OTHERS IF THEY WANNA EAT MEAT LET THEM EAT MEAT GOD DAMMIT
How does someone survive without meat anyways 0-0. That sounds like a terrible existence "yeah let's eat the those vegitarian sandwiches! Two loafs of bread and a lettuce leaf !!!!"
Lots of people are very happy not destroying the planet and unnecessarily killing animals.
we don't "unnecessarily" kill animals, us humans and omnivores kill animals to actually eat them, maybe if you were a normal human being you would have realized that by now.
+Oxēłã S.A When killing animals is not necessary for human survival, yes, it is unnecessary. Do you know the definition of unnecessary? Anyone who does would know meat falls in that category. Also, humans are physiologically herbivores, that's besides the point.
+Jordan Moreno you need Jesus.. and Google.
+Oxēłã S.A Please, explain? Prove me wrong.
if i came to the table and there wasn’t any meat i’d literally leave
Girl just bring your damn bowl of mush... Sit in your corner and anger your own taste buds.... Let them people live the life they want!!!
The approval rate for that family gathering will be very low, and that will be the LAST family gathering in her house! 😂😂😂
I'm from Alabama n u TELLING me it ain't NO DAYUM TURKEY?
As a vegetarian myself. I don't force my relatives to become vegetarian.
I just enjoy my meatless cheeseburger and my cousin enjoys his 8 regular cheeseburgers.
I love how the more she speaks, the angrier Steve seems to get but he's trying to keep it in
I'm a vegetarian & I firmly believe in letting people make their own decisions.
I hate that she's trying to force her lifestyle on others.
Yeah, also big shame how hella fine this girl looks.
I don't mind going vegan, and eating meat once a week, but what I don't like is their constant farting, and it smells like cabbage. never really looked at cabbage the same way since you know.
"yes yes that wonderful" 😂😂.
If vegetarians loved animals so much then why do they keep eating all their food?
You see, this is why we eat animals, we're being merciful so that they don't die a painful death of starvation!
...haha, haven't heard that before.
Bazz have you heard how they kill those animals to make a burger lol im not vegetarian I'm just saying either way they die a painful death
And also Kosher food and meat.
Sarah Bowlin They still unnecessarily die. "Humane meat" doesn't exist.
Go save the whales or something omg hilarious
She would go to the length of lying to her family on thanksgiving and force them to endure boiled grass on a plate
just to get back at them for them not giving her a vegetarian dish? I think this girl is a bit psychotic if you ask me.
+zGruBz lmao!!!
Kmsl@ boiled grass
Boiled grass? I'm done🤣🤣
🅱oiled grass
Boiled grass !😂😂😂😂😂
If it ain't no turkey there will be a fight🤦🏼♀️😂😂
1:57 is where the best part starts for me.
That's just selfish c'mon... No meat on a family gathering? Hell naaaw..
Make a vegetarian dish, bring that to family gatherings so you can eat it. Offer it to people as an alternative. Take their response as an answer and don't try to pressure them into doing something they don't want to do.
If she did this and I showed up, I’d leave 😂
The way he walks off at the end🤣🤣
I was kinda hoping he was walking over to her in order to deliver a slap.
I only found out about this clip cause my mom yelled "stupid ass trickin heiffer!" at the tv when i was visiting her. Man i love old southerners :D
Man! Steve is the best!!!
Lol sis Demi & Steve Harvey hilarious!!!
How would she feel if someone said they were serving her tofu when in fact it was bacon
it would all work out until they took a bite. Then they'd order pizza and tell her to gtfo.
Why could a vegan not have fake meat?
she act like she didn't know where her family was from Iike Steve said all them are not from Chicago some are from the south
yupp!
Lol 😂 God help me this man is killing me with laughter
OMG his eyes! Didn't move, so Serious lol 1:15
Damn Turkey! 😂😂
Mane I'm from mississippi 😑😑 if she did tht shiiiit bruh!!!
vegan: "that red meat can give you cancer and meat kills you faster."
me: Well I guess I now know how I'm dying.
Steve:You're gonna get stabbed
"Crowd applause"
I love tofu turkey!!! 😩😩🙏🏾 especially wit some Louisiana hot sauce 😩❤️
My family vegetarian- we just cook/but food before we go or if it's a big dinner our family normally buys stuff for us to eat.
I'm semi vegan.....but if you tell me there's no chicken
I'm gon freak out !!!
Then you're not even semi-vegan. You're still a meat eater... Smh...
He dissed us out LOL. Aaaaaaalllll my family is from Mississippi 😂
Her: there’s all this meat, so I dont wanna eat anything.
Also her: im gonna cook plants so no one else wants to eat anything
