@美月光 after loading a new game, on the black screen where it says press any button to start game, if you pay close attention, after pressing a button, to the bottom left of the screen, it briefly says "hold ESC to skip cutscene" or something along that line. That's why you see the timer start at -1 second, bc if you start the timer at the *exact* time you press and hold escape, it takes exactly one second to skip the cutscene.

You should play it, it's a super immersive game. Not the best to watch, but when you're playing it and get lost in a tunnel somewhere low on oxygen you really start to brick it
Fun fact, Subnautica is amazing because so much can be done in it, and that list was just added to when below zero came out, I own both games and although I’m still working on bz, I am done with the first game, but I can’t bring myself to go into that rocket, because I love my survival world so much

No, he dropped metall with a 25% chance for a tooth drop. All speed gamers do this similar. They drop a lot of metall near the stalkers and than you often find a tooth. At least for a WR u need some luck too, sure. Ask this guy how many WR attempts he had...
Most likely because he did it so early. there's a problem in the code where only a certain amount of stalker teeth can exist at one time in the game and they never de-spawn so you have to collect existing teeth before new ones can drop, and I'm sure you know how expansive the stalker population. all instances are dropped in like 2-3 hours of game-play, which is just about the time (or even further along in a first play-through) that players will begin to farm teeth. not sure if they've fixed the issue now but, i was furious on my first run of the game 🤣
You can build a tooth farm. I did it by making a cage using columns. Leave a pile of scrap metal to lure them in and just seal em off. Unlimited teeth easy

This run is Any% Survival Glitched SSG = Super Seaglide MVB = Mobile Vehicle Bay 0:01 Bad spawn location, restart. Speedrunners recognize the bad spot instantly. 0:24 Hold esc to skip the cutscene. 0:57 Hold shift to keep the menu open while crafting. 1:05 From description: If you open the lifepod locker and then immediately exit the lifepod, the next time you open your PDA you can access that locker from anywhere. The same effect can be achieved by throwing a flare and trying to open a locker at the same time. Called "Ghost Storage" or "Flare Storage" (later) 1:28 Action key is bound to scroll wheel so breaking rocks is FAST. 2:46 Death is a fast way to get back to the lifepod, items were just transferred to ghost storage so they're in the lifepod. Also a convenient mobile vehicle bay fragment. 3:28 Ghost Storage activation. 4:59 Habitat is built on top of acid mushrooms for them to damage and flood the base a bit later. 5:05 Putting compartment (template) in front of the hatch skips the exit animation when leaving the base. 5:39 Base is flooded from mushroom damage. This is used a bit later when picking up the purple tablet with overlapping fish, it lets you use SSG a bit more faster and saves approx 2 seconds. 14:29 Compartment template is made to save one titanium for later use to build a fabricator for the hatching enzymes. 14:43 Free purple tablet by clipping through land (why it's there, don't know, maybe the devs left it there just for Eclypsed), with SSG you can slightly clip the floor / landmass. 16:13 MVB used to skip out of bounds, it can be put stuck on various of places, mainly under a ridge, but it is a very precise placement. 16:53 Calculated damage for later death, also looking for possible sulphur. 18:20 Moonpool works as a portable spawn point, a base, and when flooded also activates SSG. 18:35 More calculated damage from dropping. 19:25 MVB clip again, this time it is left there as it will magically float up next to the original habitat in the safe shallows. 20:15 Big Momma Sea Emperor animation doesn't initiate because clipping inside the area, so she just chills there. 20:26 With SSG slightly clipping through the floor and activate the teleport. No need for Sea Emperor to blow the sand out of the way. 20:47 Pick up the titanium from the compartment built earlier to build the fabricator and make enzymes. 21:50 Pushing the Enzyme 42 slightly and then interacting with it your back facing the wall can be used to clip inside the mountain and maneuver to the Quarantine Enforcement Platform switch to disable the weapon. 22:35 Calculated oxygen tank use for precise death a moment later. 22:42 Opening the PDA at the same time as deactivating the weapon you can still use the inventory even though it cannot properly be seen and then hovering over the oxygen tank and taking it off. This is timed perfectly to drown at the right time to complete the weapon animation (disabling it) and then respawning in the lifepod. 24:56 Build habitat inside the wreck and it disappears. 25:18 Fish skip lets you use the scanner faster because of animation overlapping. 25:32 Putting stuff just picked up to ghost storage so dying doesn't lose them and keeping the other items collected before. You can keep the items you have when last leaving your habitat, only new ones disappear when dying, thus ghost storage now. 25:57 Magical moonpool duping for resources, mainly the titanium ingots. (see description) 26:46 The MVB left in the lava zone now has teleported/floated straight up 26:52 Precise and deep enough spot for building the rocket platform. 26:39 Placing MVB here makes the Cyclops drop on the platform. This makes it possible to swim with SSG fast between crafting and building the rocket. 28:40 You can get the crafted item outside the habitat if you stay close. 29:40 Throwing flares on the switches and using them skips the animations. 30:14 Come here, to me. There, have a wonderful day. What an amazing run.

It’s called ghost storage. Click the life pod storage and then immediately click the bottom hatch before the menu opens up. After that you can open the storage anywhere. However you can only activate it once when away from the life pod. Repeat the first steps to do it again
Great run, very entertaining for someone who casually played the game for 3-4 times. I was very proud of myself for figuring out that you immediately began to collect plant samples for the enzyme

I have never been so thoroughly impressed and confused at the same time. I bought this game in early development in 2015 back when you could still dig the sand and make a terraformer (rest in peace). With every single update I played the hell out of it, exploring as much of the new content and dying to as many things as I could. Yet you've managed to completely blow my mind. I had no clue how far these runs had come. Absolutely incredible.

@@pinpuff6457 trust me. I got the game pretty recently with about 40 hours or so. The lost river is safe aslong as you avoid the ghost leviathan. Otherwise just stasis rifle him in the face and run. Killing him isnt that hard either. Just stasis him in the face, hit him about 10-15 times and full charge stasis him again. They dont respawn. The first room in the big cave is the same way just without the sharks.
If you break it down into smaller pieces it'll start to look more reasonable. After you can comprehend all the pieces, you can start putting them back together again :)

Oh, I may be able to give you a small tip: I think you didn't understand, but you do not have to leave the planet before Aurora's explosion. The explosion itself serves as a way to open the path into the interior. You can leave the planet safely afterwards. You don't have to rush so much to make it before the explosion!
I'm not sure I understand, I enter the Aurora and finish the game before it explodes. I don't necessarily need to go to the Aurora at the specific time I do, but you want to be rushing everything for the whole run, it is a speed run after all

how you keep all that in your head and can execute that quickly is amazing.
It’s called ghost storage.
Click the life pod storage and then immediately click the bottom hatch before the menu opens up. After that you can open the storage anywhere. However you can only activate it once when away from the life pod.
Repeat the first steps to do it again

Fabricating the cyclops above the Neptune platform so it would fall and push the console underwater for quicker access is just so brilliant

I have never been so thoroughly impressed and confused at the same time. I bought this game in early development in 2015 back when you could still dig the sand and make a terraformer (rest in peace). With every single update I played the hell out of it, exploring as much of the new content and dying to as many things as I could. Yet you've managed to completely blow my mind. I had no clue how far these runs had come. Absolutely incredible.

@@pinpuff6457 trust me. I got the game pretty recently with about 40 hours or so. The lost river is safe aslong as you avoid the ghost leviathan. Otherwise just stasis rifle him in the face and run. Killing him isnt that hard either. Just stasis him in the face, hit him about 10-15 times and full charge stasis him again. They dont respawn. The first room in the big cave is the same way just without the sharks.
The strategy for literally every aggressive enemy is just swim away in a straight line.

Oh, I may be able to give you a small tip:
I think you didn't understand, but you do not have to leave the planet before Aurora's explosion. The explosion itself serves as a way to open the path into the interior.
You can leave the planet safely afterwards. You don't have to rush so much to make it before the explosion!
I'm not sure I understand, I enter the Aurora and finish the game before it explodes. I don't necessarily need to go to the Aurora at the specific time I do, but you want to be rushing everything for the whole run, it is a speed run after all
