- This is my favourite styles to paint as you can afford to be a bit playful and experimental with the finish. These drawers were just very plain and boring and can be easily picked up from second hand stores for a good price.
In the video I create an industrial style inspired by vintage apothecary cabinets. I cover paint application, distressing and creating character using waxes.

Such an interesting color that I'm getting more used to every time I see it. Thanks for showing us how to do this. I love it, Connie.
Thank you!
Wow! That looks so much better now!!! I love this outcome!
Thank you! Glad you like it
Wow. You are such a great teacher and furniture artist. I love this look and the way you used all of these products. Especially pistachio green with the umber and black wax.
Thank you! 💚
This piece turned out amazing love the color. Thanks for always being so entertaining.
Glad you like it! 💚
Great in-depth explanation of colour / wax build up 👍
Glad you liked it
Ya know, the right corners always taste better. 😂
Haha if I were a dog that’s definitely where I’d chew 😂
Absolutely gorgeous! Have a piece kinda like this that I have prepped and definitely going for this style. Love it....
Thank you! Glad you like it 💚
I love this style! Amazing work! This is my inspiration for my bedroom furniture set! Thank you for an amazing idea 💡!!!
You are so welcome!
I love how this turned out. You do amazing work!
Thank you very much!
Fantastic tutorial
Thanks!
I absolutely love this piece! Wow! I have not ventured into the terra clay paint yet but….you make me want to take that step!
It’s so much fun! Glad you like the piece!
Beautifully done Connie. You gave a lot of info while talking about how you were creating this piece. I feel I could get a piece of random furniture and create something similar by the helpful explanations you gave each step of the way. I have never painted a piece of furniture YET.
Thanks for the lovely feedback! Glad you found it useful
I really like this piece, although I would go back and add black wax to the numbers.
I wanted them to be vivid and stand out - black wax makes them a little dull 😃
I love it! I tried to age a piece for the first time with glaze, and after watching you I really wish I had used wax. I'll definitely use wax next time.
Yes, I always use wax now. For some reason, I like the effect better.
I think glaze can look lovely too but I’ve always loved waxes 😃
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
💚💚💚
Gobsmacking. I would love to give this a go. But the products are SUPER expensive. The paint and waxes alone come to over 150 euros
Good quality products do cost a bit more however there would be enough paint to do several projects and things like the waxes last absolutely ages
OK, I'm sold. Do you think the half litre tins are enough for something this size? I'll order them this week.
Can I ask you, being in the UK, is there a reason that you don’t use the original chalk paint out of Oxford? Annie Sloan? She’s the chalk paint queen!
I prefer Dixie Belle Paint 😃
