It’s absolutely unacceptable and appalling that Chris didn’t receive more security at the Oscars! Not one person took to the stage to protect him or make some sort of announcement that violence is not condoned! While this should have been happening, Smith should have been forced to leave! It was disgusting that they left it up to Chris to continue on as if nothing happened! Being compared to GI Jane is actually a comparison of strength, determination, courage, and the ability to do what is considered 'masculine' as a woman. Women can be beautiful with or without hair. Having hair would not define her. That was the essence of GI Jane. If the only thing we got from that movie was about that character's shaven head that is truly sad.

Yes and it was purely a reference to her shaved hairstyle which was similar to that of Demi Moore’s in the original film. Plus Jada, Will Smith and fellow artists knew that in these kind of shows, they usually pick names as joke references, as is usually with most stand-up comedies too. People act as if they never watched any stand-up comedies before. So should we slap Russel Peters and Gabriel Iglesias for their racial jokes? Most comedies have references to race, cultures, religions, colour, accents etc. because these topics are easy to be related to human psychology. Rock’s joke wasn’t even humiliating or vulgar in any ways.

    This is unacceptable !!
Where is the security at the Oscar ?????
    Where are the rules ???
Anyone must have been prohibited 🚫 to access the stage unless they are called
And the security must stop anyone going on the stage like will smith did !!
That’s ridiculous and must change from now on .

He looked crazed when he was yelling & cursing at Chris. He had no control. Jada bent over twice laughing about Chris's immediate response to the slap and didn't take her eyes off of Chris when Will started yelling. If she wished Will didn t slap Chris, as she had recently said,, she would have focused on trying to get Will to stop and calm down at every juncture, from the moment she saw him start to get out of his seat. Instead, she kept her sour look at him that triggered him to respond the way he did. He had laughed at the joke until he saw her face ; then figured he better do something.
During the yelling she should have been looking at Will, not Chris, but she was too busy enjoying Chris's pain. If you look at Browlift side effects on plasticsurgery.org you will see that she is suffering the side effects of that procedure, not alopecia. Sbe even tried to fool the public saying (,on video) that she was putting it out there that alopecia caused the scar, so that ppl wouldn't ask her about it. No alopecia does not cause scars. It is a perfectly straight incision line. .Looking his at the plastic surgery purpose and the side effects on thar website explains why she has a beautiful face, an elevated hairline, a perfect scar that runs parallel to the top of her hairline several inches back, had to have hair where the incision was made shaved off. It can also cause hair loss at the incision line. Jada did not have a single bald spot. There was evidence of hair all over. In a recent video just a few days before the Oscars, maybe, she said she didn't give 2 craps about what anyone thought about her hair and that she liked it.

Just because Chris Rock is not pressing charges, should not make it ok to do it. and without legal consequences. Millions of people around the world saw that assault. A lot of those people are victims of abuse and suffer from PTSD because of it. They, me included, are traumatized and triggered by Will Smith's actions. This is not the first time Will has been violent towards another person. It is his MO. Personally, I want to sue him for causing me trauma and triggering my own PTSD.

It’s interesting there’s lots of doctors commenting from 2 or 3 months ago when Jada first shaved her head and displayed what she called alopecia without a diagnosis. She showed a single straight line about 1-2 inches from her hairline. The doctor showed photos of different kinds of alopecia, none looked like Jada. He said and many in the comments said it was a scar from a eyebrow lift and before she shaved her head you couldn’t even see the line. But I guess in that industry hiding your plastic surgery is everything! Others thought it was scars from wearing wigs/weaves. This were months before the slap. It shows she has regrowth everywhere except the scar line and it’s like she wants to make it look worse. So chris did not make a hair loss joke, it was a head shaved GI Jane joke. People don’t remember Demi Moore shaved her head and her body was in incredible shape! And Will Smith was laughing until she gave him a look. Kudos for Chris for keeping things in control and I feel bad for all the winners. They got overshadowed. I think it’s safe to say theirs narcissists in the Smith home possibly?

if you're a thin skin don't take your ass to no comedy shows or any award shows.
Comedians are going to roast you, they're going to roast you on your appearance, they're going to roast you on your looks, they're going to roast you on maybe some of the movies that you have done that wasn't good so if your thin skin stay your ass home.
First of all Will Smith himself laughed at the joke that Chris Rock made then he saw Jada pinkett's face and then decided to go all fake alpha male. Will Smith for most of his career has been a comedic rapper or comedic actor I'm quite sure he's cracked some raunchy jokes about people in his time on this planet.
Jada pinkett before the Oscars the day of the Oscars or the night before was on social media joking about her baldness herself.
3rd alopecia is not life-threatening it's just hair loss and I'm quite sure all the chemicals that Jada pinkett has put in her hair over her career hasn't helped either.
4th men deal with male pattern baldness is that a condition?
5th Will Smith is a beta male and Jada pinkett is a child predator since she had sex with her sons underage friend. Jada pinkett even said in a article 3 years ago that Will Smith was not good in the bedroom.
Everybody knows Will Smith is a sucker and a beta male and Jada pinkett just walks all over this dude that's why Will Smith was the one getting trashed all over social media not Chris Rock.
We here in Philadelphia don't even claim Will Smith like that because he is not the antithesis of what a Philly guy is all about. A Philly guy wouldn't let a woman or man or whoever just walk all over them like they ain't shit.
And like many people said Chris Rock is a better man than I am because had that been me I would have whooped Will Smith's ass on stage in front of everyone including his overrated wife. I'm a real Philly dude Will Smith is not that guy everybody knows this.

If this was anyone of us, watching a comedy show, and someone from the audience goes up to the comic and slap his face because he makes fun of one of the audience's members? He (the audience) would have been escorted out with a lawsuit before sunrise.
I love Will Smith. I watched all his movies. I respect him a lot as a man of discipline and beliefs throughout his videos of self reflecting, love and kindness. I was recently going through tough personal moments. And his guidance has helped me a great deal. I myself am a father. I have a moral responsibility for my behavior... Especially for my boys.
But now with this?... Yes he is a celebrity, and he is also a human. But because of who he is. He has a moral responsibility for his behaviour. We all do.
As for his apologies... If he truly wanted to apologize, he should have gone straight to Chris Rock to apologize. Instead, he went on to party like a "rock star". He apologized because his publicist told him to do so.
There is no "good guy" vs "bad guy". There's no justification for hitting someone. What kind of message is he sending to the public?
Has anyone thought about what his Chris' family must be going through? His children? Seeing his father publicly humiliated in front of millions of people?

Both of them been in the industry since a lot of us were young, and I'm sure there's some form of courtesy and respect among celebrities even if they don't like and agree with each other otherwise how do they ever get along in the same room. Even if it's just being nice, there was just some things you don't say, and there are things you don't do. And Will crossed the don't do line which pissed off a lot of entertainers aside form Chris himself who aren't just calling Will out on the BS, but they making fun of him even more.
