Yup, I've found a few Goodman units leaking exactly where you said.

The newer Goodman and Amana units are Daikin units. I have installed several of the Amana and one of the newest Goodman and it was the same equipment. 10 year full replacement warranty and smooth installs. Bryant is my other product line and have done me well. Lots of other brands are so terrible.

One Internet search will disprove everything you just said.

@@jameylane1591 By all means, do your internet search and show me how I am wrong. I have literally gone to Daikin. Amana and Goodman trainings. I work on them every day. I didn't say every model, but many new Goodman models are Amana units, and they use Daikin/Amana parts. For example, the Amama S-Series is the Daikin Fit with the different badging. Would you like me to start post Goodman part numbers with the matching Amama skus? Daikin owns both companies and of course they use many of the same parts to keep the prices reasonable and compatible. It is no different than Carrier, Bryant, Payne, ICP and ACiQ. All owned by the same parent company and have most of the same equipment inside the units. It doesn't take a genius to figure out why that would be most cost effective and streamlined for business and parts purposes But you show me how I am wrong. I will be right here waiting.....

Make that (4)!!! Just got the call, doing one this Friday for another customer!!! Popping like hot air balloons over the U.S lol.
I will make a video for ya on this one fellas that Zack can show if he wishes... It's not personal, heck i used to be a Amana-Goodman guy until their accumulation leak fiasco, and now this....
I think i know what is causing it, the sheer weight of the condenser coils over 10yr plus vibrations when running etc, are compressing and rubbing the small thin tubing on the main bottom and near bottom tubing which ends in leaks..
2 of them i know were leaking at corner electrical panel side at bottom, just 3" away from service valve entry point. Oil stain clearly visible on those 2 and this one as well.
The smaller tubing is okay, but it's a literal "TICKING TIME BOMB" waiting to let go once good use etc happens or the slightest rubbing occurs!
It's like a magic 8 ball game, to see if your unit will last a long time or not.. MAYBE, CHECK BACK, HELL NO, ETC.

The smaller condenser tubing is really annoying. Which is why I’m a bit annoyed with Rheem’s decision to make their new Endeavor HPs with 7mm tubing instead of 3/8” (save for the 5 ton HPs). Hopefully we don’t see many issues in the near future.

I have ran into 3 of these leaker goodmans this week!!..on the bottom run right near the service valve. You have to pull the dang coil out flip it over to repair it, seems like its only the filthy ones

With all the Goodmans I’ve serviced I’ve never seen one leaking there. I have a Goodman at my house and it’s 15 years old and never had one leak. I just don’t see all the problems everyone says they have but I’m sure they do as does any brand. I didn’t install the Goodman at my house btw😂
