If you happen to have the manual for the MSV it shows you how the shoulder buckles are removable, just looked at mine and the buckles under the front flap are the same, they are removable so in theory a large Velcro patch could be put there removing the bulge from the buckles
Audio could definitely use adjusting. Better audio on speech, and wayyyy less volume on the music so that I don't blast my wife out of the kitchen. Otherwise, great job as always. Appreciable improvements. 👍
Have you cosidered making a larger plate carrier pack that uses the same design, just with more room? As an RTO the stuff i need in there pretty much completely fills an issued assault pack to the brim, including strapping shit to the outside. I want the plate carrier pack attachment system, but with capacity no less than that of the MOLLE 2 assault pack. If the PCP had that capacity, I'd have already bought it.
You guys have worked with axl before why not utilize the cummerbund retro fit kit so you can tuck the cummerbund under the msv back flap for the Velcro use
I'm gonna see if my unit will just let me continue to use my personal carrier since we are getting MSVs soon, hopefully they do because this looks stupid af.
Thats an unavoidable issue with the attachment method of the PCP. The straps are long, and the buckles are so far from the weight of the pack that it is just going to move around a little bit. You should be able to minimize the wiggle room if you shorten the bottom straps (attaching to the cummerbund) as much as possible. That would mean mounting the female buckles much further back on the cummerbund, making them harder to reach while wearing the kit. Have a buddy tighten it all while the kit is on you. Hope that helps!
I feel the need to have the front buckles hardsewn instead of traditional velcro or tubes, is most likely due to the inability for some troopers to wanting to learn/understand how they work. So somebody just tried to make it more fool/boot-proof. And now everyone suffers for it. Thanks for the videos, they eliminated my desire to buy the MSV and/or the usmc gen 3 carriers after I saw the structural loadbearing design on them. I will stick to either the ancient Paraclete RMV or sell my kidney and buy a Crye pc.
Not sure why the army and marines get contracts for bullshit plate carriers when it would be better across the whole military to make crye precision the full contract for the gear
This is not a good PC .. it’s to big there’s a flap in the front that doesn’t allow for proper mag draws .. there are so many better options out there .. but no the army has to spend 2K for shit vest it blows my mind
A new era for Shaw Concepts. The host gets an upgraded mic setup.
A new era indeed
Love you

Great video and products as usual. Imo I think it would be helpful to lower the music just a bit

What is the belt used in the introduction? specifically during 0:47-0:56
we definitely did not get soft armor. just plates
I’m confused my PCP is attached to the Msv all buckled too and tightened. Yet it still moves in the middle ?

Dude this plate carrier cost wayyy more than Crye.
Because they basically issued every soldier 2 plate carriers.
@@PeekInsideEverytimeand only Bradley crewman (to my knowledge) are allowed to use the 2nd one
To be fair, this runs miles around the IOTV.
That makes too much sense.
