Just want to add the 1650 super, and the 1660 are both better than the rx 580. The 1650 super is slightly better, and the 1660 is a fair amount better is you haven’t yet got your hands on the rx 580 I recommend these parts instead, but do your own research before making a final decision.
Hey great video you gave us here. I noticed Thad your graphics card was not on the first PCI-E slot on your motherboard. I’d recommend to change it to your first PCI-E slot because you’ll get more of your bandwidth
The build you got looks really solid! Just wondering what monitor you have? If it's not 144 hz I definitely suggest you upgrade to a 144hz monitor when you get the chance and the mouse and keyboard might also something you would want to upgrade aswell when you get the chance :)
In your case AMD is good for gaming and many more tasks video editing, processing, and etc. Intel is focusing on gaming and you can get better performance, but for the price of your kidney. AMD Ryzen is destroying Intel in price per performance. Also the 2060 super is amazing because of RTX and it’s performance. I wouldn’t have gone with the reference card. Usually they are more expensive. Second party cards are usually overclocked(more stable), have better coolers, and a bit cheaper. But Nvidia reference cards look so sexy so who cares? But over time I’d invest into faster ram speed (3600mhz) AMD cpu benefit from it. (Use XMP profile on your motherboard bios to access your full RAM speed) Plus a better power supply something higher than 500W 600w-750w if you plan on OC your gpu and CPU to be safe. I’d get a 80+gold. Right now power supply prices are all super messed up so I’d just wait, but welcome to the PC community. Everyone will be saying how much better their specs are but who cares?! It’s your creation and it’s something to be proud of.
Captains next build will be a Ryzen Thread Ripper. Congrats on this one though its a great place to get started in the pc community the specs are good. I'd be happy too building your own pc feels so great.

What a coincidence, I built my first PC about a month ago and our parts list is extremely similar. You made very good decisions. A Nvidia 2070s is overkill for 1080p gaming. Good move on ditching the stock cooler, it's quite loud and Ryzens run hot!

Saw the thumbnail and had to make sure it’s a good pc. Update: I like it. High caliber and this will always get the job done. I have a few comments. Even though hard drives are not as fast as ssds they still offer high capacity storage for a cheap price. I would get a 2tb hard drive They’re like 40 bucks. And for the ram. It’ll work for now but AMD works best with faster ram especially then3rd gen ryzen. Look into upgrading to 3600 MHz and your performance will skyrocket. Also get a water cooler.
3600mhz is definitely overkill. 3000mhz was definitely the sweet spot. More is better of course but for casual gaming you won't notice a serious difference from 3000mhz to 3600mhz. As for the hard drive, I agree but they are known for breaking down easily and even some cases becoming very loud overtime while SSDs don't make any noise at all. Also depending on the game hard drives can sometimes make a game very unplayable when waiting in long loading screens. I played metro exodus on my hard drive and boy did it get annoying everytime I had to load to my last save or continue into my chapter. It's all preferences though but hard drives are definitely the way to go for cheap builds.
This is a bit old so u prob won’t see this. But u should get the program “transparent task bar” it’s a simple program but it makes the grey task bar at the bottom transparent and looks really nice
Suggestion, start another minecraft series but on java, optifine pre-releases are out so you can show off your PC while looking at some sexy Sonic Ether shaders. Believe me, it'll get views once people see the shaders part!
hey man, great PC but i think you put your graphics card in the wrong slot. You should put it in the slot with the metal around it. Its the one above from where it is now. Otherwise your Graphics card has not the full power if its not in the right slot. I hope you this and correct it. (Atleast from what i can tell at 15:36 in the Video)

Since you have a larger mouse pad, with destiny, try to run your mouse sensitivity on the lower end with a higher dpi on your mouse. It helped me a lot
Hey man you may want to move the gpu to the top most PCIE slot for best performance as the top slot gives the gpu way more bandwidth and connects straight to the cpu

Just so you know that's a high end pc xd I have same specs but I have the 2070 super that's about it but only because I found it for 350 used so yeah just went with it since it was same price as 2060 super but you will run 80 fps on triple A titles on ultra 1440p I'd say more actually but 80 fps minimal basically very good system it will last u a good 4 years until having to upgrade maybe just cpu

I would definitely recommend upgrading your mouse to like a Logitech g502 or Razer DeathAdder

My PC costs $1500 AUD (0.63 of a USD) and it can run almost anything, I'll be it not Ultra settings but it's either High or Medium most of the time

its from a application on steam called Wallpaper Engine, allows you to run animated wallpapers. U do have to pay for it buts its deffo worth it.

the stock cooler that comes with the 3600 is pretty good, but since you got an aftermarket cooler, you should be able overclock the cpu easily
I would suggest putting the graphics card in the top slot under the cooler to get better performance.
