I also just received my magazine today and immediately wanted to make this for a Christmas gift. IThe pattern showed a lot of 2-1/2 width pieces so I was able to secure 2 jelly rolls, some background and a layer cake. Now patiently waiting for that to be delivered. I''m also making FQS Moonbeams so will probably have extra fabric from that project to use. Thanks Sherri!

My friend, who is now recovering from a broken hip and has MS, wanted to do the sew along. Was there a live sew along or just instructional. The project has been handed over to me and I wasn’t able to find anything on how to get to the sew along. She bought all the fabric. She bought the fat quarter and jelly roll. I was going to cut the 2 1/2 “ blocks from the jelly roll but I’m not sure if the little zig zags will make the 2 small. I’d love it if you could direct me to the see along if it has been recorded for us to watch later. Thank you and we love your podcast and everything you do to help us be better quilters. Thank you!

Excited to start this Heart of the Home Quilt. Got my magazine; just waiting for my fabric bundle to arrive next week ... I absolutely love this quilt; it will be my main quilt to make for this year. I am also making your Monthly block of the month; I've got Jan & Feb blocks made already. And very happy to be making the Log Cabin Heart of the Home quilt. Log Cabin was my grandmother's favourite quilt pattern to make. I inherited her patterns & templates she used to use.
I have the pattern, well, the magazine, picked up another magazine and mailed it to my cousin, who I showed your cover quilt to, and she want to make it as well. We are going to be ready. I love this pattern and strawberry lemonade fabric so much! It is just happy fabric.

Good morning. Is a honeybun and a jellyroll the same? I love the centers of your log cabin quilt.
They are different. A jelly roll is 2.5” wide and a honeybun is 1.5” wide
