Oh my gosh! This is exactly what I needed. I have a bunch of leftover squares and 2 1/2” strips. These half square triangles are perfect. I can make them in between projects. Thanks you so much! Love your videos, projects and fabrics 😍
Sherri You hit the ball out of the park with the Navy Chain Block using "Raspberry Summer" I'm thinking a Red version of the block, combined with The Navy Chain. And have a plain White Block.
Wow! My blocks look just as good as Sherri's and I didn't use a block lock because I don't have one. I find that they are out of my budget, and I never had one prior to making flying geese so, I think I'll just keep doing what I'm doing. If it ain't broken don't fix it! 🤩
I've done all of your blocks since January 2020 and made them into quilts, 2022 & 2023 I combined those blocks into 1 quilt. Love your blocks and keep it up.
I love Bloc Loc rulers and have all squares and flying geese. They are a bit pricey but I do feel I get better results. I’ll say it again…I LOVE this year’s BOM big block option. Love the setting for the HST’s. The navy was an excellent choice. Thank you Sherri for inspiring us all and for sharing these free patterns. ❤
The Wing Clipper ruler by Studio 180 Design is awesome for flying geese blocks. It can do 10 sizes of flying geese with one ruler. Check out Deb Tucker’s rulers.
This is my first quilt along with you. I'm so enjoying it. Do you give us finishing instructions, or do we come up with our own? Either way is fine, I was just going to start thinking about it.
I've searched the blog and all these posted links and can't find the pattern for the final layout of the half square triangle quilt. Where do I go to download it?
I noticed that you used the folded. Or er on smaller flying geese you know, there is a larger one to use on this also just in case you didn’t know love this thanks
I may have miss understood... But, did you say there was a FREE PDF for the scrappy HST blocks with the chain block layout? I didn't see the link in your show notes. Thanks!
@@CherylMcGregor That's the link for the August block... I'm asking about the Scrappy Block quilt (with navy alternative chain blocks) that she shared AFTER sharing the August block. She said that there was a free pattern for the quilt. Several others have also asked about the link...
I've shared the Free layouts for the blocks two at a time on Fridays from April to June. So you can get all of the blocks free. Or you can buy the pattern. But the setting I just shared is also free :) The pattern for sale has two additional settings included. So there are lots of options for this.
Thank you for sharing your talents with us. Your patterns and ideas are wonderful. I appreciate your kindness.❤
