THANK YOU FOR WATCHING AND BEING WONDERFUL!!!
The gloss really reminds me of Sephora collection gloss in fly! Dior shimmer nude is also very similar, maybe a bit lighter. Also pay McGrath gloss in bronze divinity! Finally my encyclopedic knowledge gained from working at Sephora has paid off!
yesssss this is the tea I need
I love love love those sephora collection glosses, I need to try out Fly. Its been on my loves list so long but I thought it would be much more pigmented! Im going to try it out!
Awww, Smidgey is growing up to be a sleek and gorgeous parlour panther, just as I knew she would! I am going to miss seeing her as part of your background when she finds her forever home. ♥️
Smidge is at 8:26 :)
LOLOLOLOL- the title alone, is Gold!!!!!
In high school, I used to refer to that style of chapstick application as, “seeking solace in your chapstick.” It’s that smushing it around and around your lips in a repetitive, self-soothing way that I found fascinating.
The new Natasha Denona Glam palette has been a new favorite of mine, for the Basic B that I am.
"The pleasurable fussiness" of painting on a lip gloss.... See, this is why love watching you Hannah. 🤣
I still remember that in one of Hannah's first videos she described "the risky pleasures of using a shimmer in the crease." First off, what a memorable turn of phrase. Second, look how far you've come Hannah. 😊
This "sweaty person" thing reminded me how "conventional" products made my life miserable for years. I thought I was a sweaty gal - nope, just allergic to antiperspirant. I thought my hair was shit - no, just thick wavy hair that disliked silicone shampoos that were suppose to make all hair flowy and silky. I thought periods were a curse - not since I've discovered menstrual cup. And acne products for teens? They are sooo drying they made my atopic skin even worse. Turns out I needed hydrating products for "older" woman, not teen skincare. I am so glad that market is much more diverse now and that youtube beauty zone is not just hauls full of products catered towards one type of consumer anymore!
Wow, everything except the crappy acne products being horrible is completely opposite for me. Well, I don't use shampoo with silicone in it, I use a gentle clarifying one and then I must use a silicone conditioner to get my long hair smooth. I stink without antiperspirant. And since not every woman's body is shaped the same, I can't place a menstrual cup and I tried multiple times over the years and from every position. I could never get them not to leak, and I'm not squeamish with my body and have been getting periods for 33 years.
Antiperspirant made you sweat more? My sister might be the same and we just never knew! What do you use instead to help the sweat?
@@MochaxMatcha I started with switching to crystal deodorant (it was a few years ago and only a few natural options were available) and now I use alum (main ingredient of crystal deodorant) with rose water in spray. I guess most natural options would be good. Even going deodorant free made me less sweaty than antiperspirant! My aunt has the same thing, but she goes as far as getting harsh rash from antiperspirant so it was easier for her to put one and one together.
This was a WILD ride. The twist ending?! *chef's kiss* I'm so glad you talked about the Trixie gloss! I am, like you, mostly uninterested in the the line, but good to know if I ever need a gloss that they're good! Also, I may need to try that elf mascara!
Between the title and your descriptions of what overlining your lips with gloss is like, you have me dying laughing!!! 🤣🤣🤣 thanks for the good laugh this morning! ❤️🙏🏻❤️
I like favorites like Emily Noel does sometimes new stuff but a lot of the time it will be older stuff with a dash of non beauty. She really has a tendency to use her collection even though she does quite a bit of new product reviews. She's a good mixture of everything makeup. Drugstore, high end, new and old.
Emily’s channel is absolutely amazing!
Smidge's eyes are the prettiest color I've ever seen--they're such a warm gold. My brain has been busy this whole video trying to come up with a simile and I simply CANNOT
her eyes are the color of a wooden rocking chair lit by a fireplace glow? the color of sunshine in an autumn wood? I DON'T KNOW BUT THE COLOR IS SO PRETTY
So MAC has this gloss called Steel Kiss that is such a unique color. It is not brown - it’s honestly like a shimmering taupe almost leaning…grey? Or rather…”steel” colored as the name suggests haha. Hannah I love it. It’s so different, but I love it on my paler skin.
Oh wow, that sounds so beautiful!! Even though a lot of people hated/still hate the metallic lipstick trend, I would love that in a more durable formula. I'm all for a dramatic 🌟 _editorial_ 🌟 lip w/ big brows, big lashes, & some smokey liner.
@@ZijnShayatanica I'm on board with that look except for the big brow.
@@ZijnShayatanica honestly, people might not like hearing this but I feel like the main reason people hate metallic lipsticks is because it looks really bad on small and/or wrinkly lips. It looks amazing on beautiful lips. So people rather hate it instead of admitting that their lips are just not fit for it.
@@autumnautopsy I'd argue that all lip sizes are pretty, but I think you're right. Metallic products tend to look best on super smooth lips, but that is most commonly seen on people with lip filler, so there's some weirdness there.
@@ZijnShayatanica I think you’d love this gloss! If I had to order the qualities of it from most prevalent to least, it would be:
Sheer
Glossy
Hints of metallic shimmer
Definitely not that classic metallic look. Truly like the best of both worlds ❤️
HANNAH, this title, 🤣🤣🤣
I think you’ve won “Best Beauty Content Title” for 2021, 🥇
The chances of Smidge finding his forever home anywhere that isn’t within arms reach of Hannah is looking negligible. 🐈⬛
I’m digging the updo. Been lovinggg you and your channel!
Yay! Thank you!
Oh my goodness, Smidge is an absolutely beautiful cat!
Oh! Products that have really impressed me lately are the Rephr brushes, the VBB lid lusters, and the VBB bronzers! Okay, honestly, everything VBB impresses me. I love everything about the line and adore 99% of the products that I have from her. 😂 but yeah, just bit the bullet on Rephr brushes and WOW! I really had no idea how different applying makeup would be like with good quality (and expensiveeeeee) brushes. The bristles on the long haired fluffy brushes literally hug my face and just airbrush my products on. I don’t even have to think about what I’m doing, it’s just always a great application! And the eye brushes work exactly the same way. Airbrushed goodness. My lids are pretty sensitive to pokey brushes and these have ZERO poke. Thoroughly impressed and will be buying more when I can. 🧡
Thanks for commenting on Rephr brushes, I’m so incredibly distrustful of brushes UA-camrs like after the whole saga with Morphe; which is funny because I’ve never purchased anything from them, but I still don’t trust them, with Rephr I’ve been having them on my mind a lot but I was afraid that they weren’t going to be worth it, so thanks for commenting, now I can finally make a list of their brushes I want.
@@MrLadyMaroles Rephr brushes ARE the real deal, they're excellent. I was part of their initial Kickstarter, & have continued to purchase all of their new brush releases.
They are natural-bristled, handmade Japanese brushes; & their goathair quality is on par with Wayne Goss, Hakuhodo, etc. IMO, they're an excellent resource for starting (or upgrading) a collection of natural bristle brushes. The hair quality, density, & craftsmanship are better than anything you can typically find in-store, unless you have a boutique/dept. store that sells luxury brushes nearby. They also have a good selection of shapes/types of brushes. The ONLY thing I don't love, is their handles...I just wish they were a bit weightier, to counter-balance the weight of the brush-head. But weightier brushes (esp. those w/wooden handles) are just my personal preference.
Rephr offer excellent customer service; & have discounted bundles, as well as sales through their concept store. I hope that over time, they start offering a variety of bristle-types, as squirrel/sable/etc. brushes are getting harder to find at non-extortionate prices😋. While I love the luxury, beauty, uniqueness, & specificity of Sonia G. brushes, Rephr brushes are elegant workhorses...a rare commodity, indeed.
Smidge is getting so big! I see her in the background taking up more real estate in her little bed back there 😻😻😻
The Madame Lemy powder is something that I never knew I needed until I heard you talking about it. I have a natural deodorant (Kopari) that works for me (after much searching and angst) but leaves my underarms feeling wet. Now I know that what it needs is a setting powder! A setting powder for my underarms...who knew?! I just placed an order with Madame Lemy. Thank you so much, Hannah!
Hope it works well for you, I love it, too!
The way Emma Chamberlain applies chapstick is an aesthetic, I've been saying and doing it for years.
Auric's entice smoke reflect and NYX liner has been my recent uniform, I don't need much else with a mask on, but elf mascara is great for some polish sometimes. Colourpop's Ritz super shock shadow gets an honorable mention, but the chunkiness of Auric is my jam at the mome.
I have Defiance by Auric and I agree it is fabulous. Temper and the holiday smoke reflects are on my Chriatmas wishlist.
I just got Ritz myself, and I am absolutely obsessed with it
@@bit-button if you haven't tried using a fluffy brush for a soft wash of sheen, it's a different experience than using fingers or a packing brush. DIVINE! and i love it on the cheek as well~
The liberally applied lip treatment on chapped lip look - YES 😂 thank you for making me feel sexy about doing that to my seemingly always dry lips (unfortunately not because of ski or extensive making out 🥲)
Same 😂
The Trixie gloss seems amazing and my grungy little heart is really interested in the whole concept now. Time to put it on the list to ponder about! Also, I am chucking at Joe’s review of the blow-drier. Thank you, Joe!
I am SO intrigued by that rose powder dusting powder! I love the scent of natural rose. Jo Malone's Rose perfume is one of my favorites. I want to try this powder to use as a "follow-up" to my usual deodorant stick. Never would have known it existed without this video!
Omg the title!!! ♥️😂🖤 Love you so much Hannah! Your humour is really an underappreciated good in this world ♥️
6 beauty things that have sparked joy for me lately -
1. I went on a hunt for the discontinued Marc Jacob’s eyeshadow pot in glam noir and it’s all the black glimmery dream I hoped for.
2-3.As a fair person who isn’t into red or pink lips I’ve always shied away from lip products but on Hannah’s recommendation I bought revlon mink and rum raisin and they have changed the game for me! Love!!
4. I know this is boring and inelegant but as a sweaty gal myself who doesn’t wear antiperspirant and HATES the oils found in most alternatives because they make a mess and ruin my clothes - arm and hammer deodorant, it works through 12 hours of nursing shifts A++ product.
5.My tried and true Mac paint pot in groundwork -As a base for my oily lids or just a one and done.
6.My one BF sale purchase after months of thought was nars climax eyeshadow palette, very pleased 😍
Thank you for the work you put in these videos! I am entertained but it’s also media that is beneficial for the “pretty pretty gimmie gimmie” little person in my head. You’re a phenom :)
You look so chic! I love it!
And, I loved the last video, so I'm sure I'm going to love the non-fails, too. No lube! 😂 Just hope it doesn't make me want to buy things!
That lipgloss reminds me of Mac Lipglass in SPITE (they also have one called Spice but that is not it). I love the long lasting nourishing feeling of Mac's Lipglass formula. But I guess the price and packaging are more along the lines of a midrange offering? Spite LIVES in my purse.... 💚💄💚
Tried the Big Mood Mascara after you reviewed it - because I'm always looking for an affordable yet bomb mascara that has volume and length - and man does it deliver for me! Great Recommendation! Hugs to Smidge & Sadie!
I’m currently using the Refy brow gel and I LOVE IT but I’m always on the hunt for a good strong hold brow product so I’m definitely going to be picking up that brow soap! Thank you for that recommendation!
Ohhh Smidge and his amber eyes soooo cute and so are u Hannah, great video😻💘
Oh that gloss gives me Marc Jacobs Beauty Ch-Ch-Changes vibes. That gloss was like a red brown/blue brown eyeshadow in a gloss. I don’t know if it’s still available but I think you would love it.
Product that has impressed me lately are the VBB Lid Lustres. Before they arrived (Tea Rose and Honey) I was deriding myself for making a probably silly purchase as I'm more a palettes over single shadows gal. But, now they are here they might convert me! I love the colours, the texture, and the ease of use. The packaging is also gorgeous so the whole experience of them is a delight. I am struggling to put them down.
loved this video!! i would love another communal living update video, especially now that it’s the holidays!
I don't have any high-end brand recommendations but Revlon has a line of lipsticks that are called super lustrous and I got three different colors in chocolate luster, sparkling honey and a clear. I think that they will do very similar to what you are talking about. They are more like tinted chapsticks then actual lipsticks in my opinion but they are beautiful with slight shimmeries... But not actual shimmeries! They are also extremely soft and silky. They don't last a crazy long time (wear time) but they are nice enough that I have three of them and I love them all! They are one of those super easy things that I can either throw it in my bag or keep in my bag and it will go with everything, look great and feel really nice on my lips without lip liner
Ohhh smidge!! Love seeing her sweet little face 🥰
This was exactly what I needed on my break at work. 😊 not exactly luxury but Fenty’ s heat gloss bomb in hot chocolit is a stunning sheer brown gloss, I love it!
I've read the first part of the title (push notifications have initially robbed me of the joy of the second part...) as a subject+verb combination ♡"beauty (always) wins"♡ and it gave me the nicest warm feeling 🤗
That Elf mascara...! I loved your mascara babies video and we have similar tastes in what we desire from our mascara. I just started using Big Mood and it is SO good! Great recommendation! 💕👍💕
All the way to 48K with that title 🤣❤
😂
my two favorite recent makeup finds are the shiseido syncro skin self refreshing foudation in the lightest shade and the dior backstage face and body foundation in 0N. me and you are exactly the same skin tone so i know the struggle with finding a foundation shade that matches.
I love your makeup in this video. I think I’m going to try recreating this makeup look!
Loved your description of slathering the gloss on chapped lips. I'm thinking of trying to powder with some tapioca starch now to help set my natural deodorant
The caption made me choke on my tea hahahaha My fave thing lately has been eyeshadow sticks - mainly the nudestix and charlotte tilberry ones. So easy for a one and done and can throw it in my purse for touch ups during my 12 hour shifts!
Trixie's glosses are amazing! I have the brown one as well.
Thanks for the Smidge close up!
The best product I’ve purchased recently has been the Patrick Ta eyeshadow palette. I held off buying it for so long because of the price point, but after months of visiting it in Sephora and watching countless reviews, I finally caved during the Sephora sale and used some of my birthday money. I am SO glad I finally got it - I love it even more than I expected!!!
One of the beauty win products for me has been the Honest Beauty blush in Rose Pink. It’s just so beautiful. I apply 2-3 layers each time because I just cannot get enough.
I came back to this video to remember the name of the Trixie lip gloss and my god this look! The hair, the makeup, the top, this is how I want to look every day. Thank you for the inspiration!
Just put the powder on my Christmas wish list! Loved this video.
My beauty win would be the elf eye putty primer in rose. I’ve had it for awhile, but recently pulled it out because I wanted to do some matte looks. It’s amazing! Totally blanks out my lids, makes my eyeshadow stay put all day, and is a bargain.
Jackblack intense therapy lip balm in natural mint and shea butter has been KNOCKING my SOCKS OFF!! really helping my chronically dry lips feel great
The Hourglass gloss in the shade provoke is a really beautiful taupe. It doesn’t have sparkle but it’s suuuuper glossy and wears well throughout the day. A staple of mine.
I appreciate the sweaty person talk, I'm a sweaty person 😁💚 The powder sounds very interesting 😊
If you're not allergic to antiperspirant there's no reason not to use it. There's no evidence of it causing health problems.
the Sephora blue lip gloss that's discontinued gives me the same vibe and feeling as you're getting here. when applied thinly it is such a good grunge and the darkness is alluring w/o being heavy-handed. I love it. bought 5 of them before they got discontinued. now I'm tempted to try this. cz they're essentially the same aesthetic oy w different colours.
My personal beauty win has been an eyeliner pencil from Isadora in the shade amethyst. I haven't had a purple liner before and it has now become my go-to simple winter look to have a subtle purple line on my eyes, I love it. The quality is really nice too!
OKAY, MS. GUCCI!!! 🔥❤️ I can't stop staring at your eyeshadow! 😍
my favourite lip product of this year was the fenty glow lipgloss! I got a mini way back in 2018 and I fell in love with it. at $25 ( Canadian) it's my most expensive lip product but I already knew I was going to love it so it was worth the splurge
Could you do a Drag race-themed video? Who would you be for snatch game? favorite make-up/ make-up inspiration form the queens? moments from the show that made you cry (laughter, sadness, inspiration), what drag means to you? maybe as a live or patron video. I would love to hear you speak about it.
My absolute FAVORITE eye look on you!
New subscriber here! Very happy to find you. I’m on a no-buy year starting today! yay! so I plan to spend my time watching ALL your videos from the beginning instead of shopping.
The Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Luminous Flush was a recent purchase that is so worth the money!! It just sits so seamlessly on my pale skin, doing it's job without ever being overpowering!
Em Cosmetics so soft bronzer is my favorite product right now and I love it! For sure!
your comment about the totally slathered in gloss lip look reminded me of something I've been thinking that I'd love to see you touch on in a future video about the difference between things that are pretty & fashionable
I read in an nyt article several months ago (it was about sneakers or jeans or something, I don't exactly remember) in which the author said something that really stuck with me - that for something to be truly fashionable (to be A Look) you have to risk being ugly
this was said in the context of clothing. basically saying that a simple a-line sun dress or jeans and a white button up are always pretty, they look good basically everyone, but it's not really "fashion" because there's no risk involved. you aren't necessarily playing with color or pattern or proportion enough that it's taking skill to find the right balance and that is kind of what makes something in fashion really interesting
but now I'm thinking about how that concept might apply to make up - you know, a medium nude lip gloss and a bronzy shadow all over the lid will always be pretty but rarely make a statement but with something like the overapplied lip gloss - you risk applying too much and looking ridiculous and it can be A Look
anyway - as I said I would be interesting in hearing if you have any thoughts on this concept or if it brings any other product/looks to mind for you
I love the way you're titling your videos recently haha
Beauty wins! The tiny 6 pan essence eyeshadow palette in coral-the rare beauty foundation brush, and their liquid blush in “Joy”-Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder
It is so nice to see your lovely face in my UA-cam feed! :) My absolute hit is a concealer. It is the Pupa Milano Wonder Cover concealer. It has high coverage and it is really creamy on a drugstore price.
I wish you would review more Trixie products! I really want you to review the blush palette from the same collection!
I like that tin. My older sister (older 40s now) used to have these little lip balms in different fruity flavors that came in smaller tins like that except a more brassy color. I loved them! I liked looking at them more than using them. 😺
Love love this video and your look !!!
smash hit for ever and ever will be the pixi h20 skin tint in the shade “fair”. marvelously pale and yellow, but the formula will always win for me. i have very dry, picky skin that will sometimes flake and be generally gross. somehow this product smooths over not only dry patches, but also pores! all without being matte and flat. like HLP, i need a hardy base product. i’m a barista at a drive through coffee shop and we’re constant slammed, so i need to be able to literally wipe off coffee grounds or milk without fear of a splotchy base. it’s got the perfect amount of coverage where it will conceal redness without hiding my freckles. when i’m finished with alllll my other base products, this will be the only one i’ll repurchase
I bought a lamel eyeshadow palette called moonrise and it's such a win. It's very cheap however the shine on these shadows is incredible, they made a tiny amount of really good eyeshadows and it was a very good choice. It has this blackened brass kind of color that is gorgeous. I love it a lot
I’m so happy to have found you! I’ve been on beauty UA-cam for awhile and can’t believe I haven’t come across your page before. Love your vibe/style/minimalistic ethics. Have you tried the tower 28 lip glosses? The color cashew is a beautiful neutral brown/taupe, and it feels great on the lips.
P.S. Smidge is adorable!
any & all of the salt new york cream tint products. There are a couple that once I use up I won't be repurchasing, but I am in love with them all. I also got a Kaja Bento Box in Orange Blossom for my birthday & it is stunning. The bronze shade is super neutral & shiny. OH, & the Auric smoke reflect in Disrupt....it has won my heart.
You are stunning. No makeup or with. Love your humor
It’s definitely a different type of shade, but the Nana squeaky clean lip balm from Westman Atelier is a stunning cool toned beige and I think you would love it! I reach for it every time I’m in the mood for a cool toned gloss. So nourishing and the packaging is beautiful too
That Trixie gloss is beautiful!
I can't stop laughing at your description of the second lip gloss seriously so funny
I was recently given some of my first ever "luxury" makeup and the Ecstasy Shine Lipstick from Giorgio Armani really impressed me. The formulation is beautiful and the color is so long lasting. It's also the only lip color product I've ever used that hasn't left my lips dryer than it found them. I have it in the color "Red 401"
I love your headband!
I love this eye look. I would love a get ready with me where you do this look :) I know I probably have some dupe colors to use.
The Lumilayer primer! I could wear no other makeup and feel (pale but) beautiful all day. Also my JR Liggetts bar shampoo. It’s just everything I have ever wanted and also: sustainable! And finally the MIZON snail repair intensive gold eye gel patch. My under eyes are so happy afterward.
The Milani eye primer- I use it every day. I’ve used the elf putty eye primer and that one was fine. It served its purpose. But I don’t get any tugging on my eyelids with the milani one
I got into this primer years ago thanks to emily Noel, and it’s the only one I use. So good.
Same same! Love it
Same ie Emily. Love it!
Ive been very happy with two products lately! Nyx born to glow foundation, and eyebrow powder pencil. They apply very easily and look nice all day. They work both in a thin natural looking layer or a thicker dramatic look. I havent tried many similar products but Im satisfied with these. I also recently got a mascara, powder, lipgloss and lipliner from essence which have made good first impressions, but the jury is still out on them.
Speaking of brows I’m obsessed with the Em Cosmetics brow gel but since it’s $5 I’m excited to try this soap brow type brow product.
Smidge's copper eyes are beautiful!
As a very sweaty pit person that review was very helpful lol!! So envious of people who don't sweat 24/7 even when they're freezing...
The additional part of blow dryer is for straighten the hair with help of hair brush too or at least smoothing them, put them in place
be careful with that deodorant, if the baking soda is at a high level it can cause a reaction. our underarms are acidic, and baking soda is basic, so a lot of people have had severe reactions.
Thank you. Alarmed that I had to scroll so far down to find this comment. Baking soda under the arms is a terrible idea for exactly the reason you state - I used "natural" bicarb-based deodorants for years and developed severe allergies as a result. I'm told corn starch is a lot healthier?
I ended up switching back to trusty old Mitchum fragrance-free anti-perspirant after learning that the research on anti-perspirant links with cancer are not actually legit. Couldn't be happier.
I was recently introduced to Buxom lip plumping gloss. It's thicker but not in a heavy, super sticky way. The shade Sarina might fit into the window of your desire. I use Dolly and it's a perfect shade for me. I'm not sure I would bill the packaging as luxurious but it doesn't feel like it's from Claire's either.
I love Trixie glosses, I have a blush too and it's also really good
Clicked for the title, stayed for the recommendations✨✨✨
I love E.L.F's wow brow. It's tinted and brushes my brows in place all in one so my brows appear fuller. I like it better than a similar product I bought regularly for about a year that is at least four times as expensive. Once I brush my brows up I shape them to curve again so I can't speak to whether they keep your brows sticking up over time... it's just not my asthetic.
I've enjoyed Tarte's Big Ego mascara and Butter London's double decker mascara.
Sigmas eyeshadow really stand out to me as being great. The mattes are amazing. Some of the shimmers to require a bit of glitter glue (or a wet brush if that is your preferred method) but I'm willing to work with them because I love the mattes.
I have also really enjoyed my palettes from Odens Eye though again, some do require either glitter glue or using my finger for the shimmers. BH cosmetics and Give Me Glow have been really great for me too.
Sky Walker by Kaleidos wonderful too. I like to use it as a topper over eyeshadow, on my brow bone or inner corner, sometimes even on my cheeks if I'm feeling that sort of vibe. I wish they had shade in green because I love it so much. I wish I could find something in this formula or in the formula of the topper shade in Defiance by Auric in green. I just love green eyeshadow so much and I've been wishing for this for months. I love sparkly shimmers but I don't really love working with chunky glitter.
I love this video for the title alone xD ...okay now I go to watch it
It doesn't have sparkle, but I am absolutely head over heels for the color of the NYX Butter Gloss in the shade Cinnamon Roll. It's such a beautiful taupe! 🖤✨🖤✨
I have realized recently that Melt’s Rust eyeshadow palette is my favorite palette of all time. I’ve also been enjoying Nyx’s lip liners in nude truffle and nude beige. Lastly, no matter how many high end lipsticks I own, I will forever go back to Milani’s “matte naked” lipstick 💄

My smash hit product as of recently has been the Dr. Jart Cicapair Color Correcting Treatment. I is highly, highly moisturizing, but I am loving it on my skin these drier months. Perfect sheer coverage and mixed in with my morganite glow lust, it’s all I’ve worn since purchasing.
I received a bottle of Tom Ford Black Orchid for my birthday last month, and it’s all I want to wear. I even spray it on my pillow before sleep some nights 😴
I love videos like this. I don't need to run out and buy all these things, but it's good to know, next time I need this category of things, I can have some options. I've found some of my favorite products this way. My Six beauty hits: Glossier concealer (melts into the skin, nourishing, lasts all day with a little setting powder...no foundation required using this, which is good since their foundation is just a waste of time and money for me), Rimmel kohl eyeliner (if you struggle to get that smoked out look, this just makes it so easy. Doesn't work in the water line but when you can get that perfectly smoked out cat eye, who cares??? Also $5 at drugstore), L'oreal Voluminous Mascara in maroon (great formula, brush, packaging and the color is just perfect for green eyes), kosas deodorant, in the year and a half that I've been using it, I've only had a break through/failure like twice, which is amazing for a natural deodorant for me...
I was very happy with the single highlighters I purchased from Sydney Grace. I know, SG is usually known for eyeshadow but I was investigating the site further & noticed a section for highlighters & blushes. I've never found a highlighter I really like, if they are light enough the color is somewhat off or too icy. If the color is right, they are too dark on my pale skintone to be highlighters. So anyway, I took a chance & ordered 4 highlighters & 3 blushes ( individual in pans, no compacts or packaging) & I was thrilled with the highlighter called PSL Extra Whip (Pumpkin Spice Latte). Most highlighters are very yellow-gold & even when supposedly champagne just don't look right on my peachy-pink skin. But PSL Extra Whip looks amazing. I'm in the process of trying the other highlighters & the blushes -they all seem to work but nothing has jumped out as a clear favorite like the PSL yet. I really got into building my own eyeshadow palettes from singles & I was hoping to do the same with products for the face. It's more difficult to find face powders sold as singles unfortunately. I might have to start depotting some products.
have you tried browly soap booster? they have a dark brown and clear shade and I'm curious about both! does the one you recommended feel sticky throughout the day? the glossier boy brow didn't have enough hold for me, but it still felt a little stiff/sticky and apparently the browly one doesn't once dry so I'm excited to try it! that trixie gloss is now on my wishlist too, the color is perfection!
latest discovery is... putting a layer of moisturizer, then face oil then glossier future dew keeps my skin hydrated and glowy all day in winter months! love it. oh! and i just got the fenty cream blush in that bright purple shade... LOVE the cool pink tint it changes into!
