    Try swapping your front tires left to right vice versa. You may have a tire pull not an alignment issue.

      Great note! In fact, the tread is directional, but we did do that and discovered some uneven wear. The tires were replaced and the front alignment was finally corrected.

    Hey Kevin, these QA1 segments are of particular interest to me.. I’ve been considering both the Upper and Lower Arms for my ‘72 Road Runner.. I’ll be giving them a call, soon.. QA1 is just basically down the road from me. Keep Up the Great Work! Mopar, Baby!!!

      You won't regret it. We’ve loved everything we’ve installed.

    At this point, you should go all the way & use the qa1 k frame , lower control arms. I used the whole qa1 set up on my 65 coronet & it’s awesome.

      That’s kinda the point, we don’t need all of it to make huge improvements.

      @ …. Really good parts. The fact that you don’t have to use all of their parts is such a great feature 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

    Rebuilt the front end of my 70 Satellite, all new bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends, etc. Alignment guy could not bring it in with those chincy factory cams. Car had no evidence of collision damage
    Installed a set of tubular, adjustable upper arms. Alignment was then possible but the car still handles like a 50 year old car, LOL!

      That’s what we’re saying! It takes more than just new parts sometimes.

    How much better do these tubular uppers make the car handle? I got some from POL I'm going to install in my 71 roadrunner as well as a full poly front end rebuild kit with LCA stiffening brackets.

      Sounds like a solid setup. I don’t know the POL parts that well, so it would be disingenuous to say anything.

    Hi, what manual transmission are you running in this car?

      We put a TKX 5spd in at SST. Check out the video we did!

    Hey Kevin, love the video. I put the same QA1 on my 68 roadrunner, and a Borgeson box. Drives much better! But where did you get the phone mount ??? I need one like that ! Thanks

    We're the caster/camber degrees listed? If so, I missed them.
    Interested in knowing the final alignment figures with the additional caster availability. Please help.
    B-Body owner with only 2° caster; seeking more.

      That’s a great question but no, I didn’t capture that on camera. Of course, you don’t want to set your car by our settings as our setup isn’t identical.

      I'm curious to see if 4.5 to 5° positive caster can be achieved with these UCA's.
      My VW Jetta has (no adjustment since new) around 6° +caster and handles great.

      @moparconnection BTW:
      After viewing your segment on the QA1 Adjustable Strut Rods, I installed them on the B-Body. I'm able to get the car to track Ram Rod straight with those! Thanks!!!

      @@thomasfisher2879I have the same upper control arms, I can get 4.5-5* positive caster. On a 68 roadrunner.

    Rotted out bushing should have been caught during any front end alignment, ESPECIALLY on such an old vehicle...Now, if you want to change the under steer of that beast, add 1.5 to 2.0 inches to the ball joint spacing....

    • @moparconnection
      @moparconnection  2 місяці тому

      They were “passable” during the initial alignment, and Robert was trying to save us time and money before Power Tour. Driving 1,200+ miles in a week rapidly exacerbated their failure.

      @@moparconnection :Hardly, bushings don't "suddenly" fail, but I guess such things give reason to promote a sponsor... ;^)

    Please lose that god awful hood. It just doesn't fit that beautiful car.

    • @moparconnection
      @moparconnection  2 місяці тому

      That Hemi scoop is one of the most distinguishable things about this build. That, and our 535ci stroker motor won't fit under a flat, suffocating hood.
