I put one of these on my Winchester Model 70 African Safari Magnum dangerous game rifle chambered in .375 H&H and it is an excellent scope for that particular application. It is in Leupold Quick detach bases and rings which I also made a quick detach mount for my SwampFax Prism red dot. Both can be easily detached so you have the 3 leaf express sights. This rifle was a custom build and custom engraved by myself. I also have a Patriot mounted on my Winchester Model 70 Super Grade chambered in .300 Win Mag. They are excellent scopes.
Hey man love your videos, thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience. Generally with tactical scopes, weight means quality. Hunting scopes can get away with being lighter. I find SFP is better for LPVO's because you can see the reticle better. You won't need your drops as much for 100-200 yds, just point and shoot. After that dial all the way, and your SFP reticle will be to scale and usable. Never owned a SwampFox but they look appealing
Thanks for replying. Good to know. I'm looking to get into a 10x ffp lpvo and I was looking between this (even though it's only a 6x) and primary arms. I like the primary arms and their acss reticle.
Yes there is. Diopter adjustment. Don't take much of this "review" to heart. I'm sure the dude is a good guy, but he doesn't know much about this stuff, and that's pretty obvious. He thinks he should get 50k hours of battery life, even though no other lpvo will last a week if left on. And most won't last over night. He obviously doesn't know about the diopter adjustments either. For the money, it really seems like this is the absolute best ffp you can get.
Do you think you'll get 50k hours of battery life from ANY lpvo? Lol. Most lpvo's won't last a full week. And you're complaining about 2.5 weeks? And set at an above medium setting? Good lord. This makes me want to dismiss your entire opinion. How are you making definitive statements about lpvo's and not even know the battery life is nonexistent on all lpvo's?

LPVO's are notorious for wildly short battery life 2.5 weeks is actually really good for an LPVO
Yep. Most of them you leave it on overnight it's dead. They are not the same concept as red dots. You turn the light on when you need it.
From what I read LPVO get around 150 hours. Nothing like any red dot. Two different things

I completely agree with you on the SFP for LPVOs, thanks for the input!
Is there a way to focus the reticle? You said it's a little fuzzy, but there's usually a way to focus the reticle.
Good question! The fuzzy reticle didn't have to do with the focus though, it was almost as if the reticle etching wasn't detailed enough

Send it here, i would love to review it myself. I like the 5x saber they make
