Possibly better than the canteen pouch… the 200rd saw pouch. Things rule. Take those pesky politician signs on the side of the road and cut them up into inserts to make the pouch more rigid. I fit my Nalgene inside a metal cup, a jar of peanut butter, spork, head lamp and bug net for my head as well as my multi tool. They rule. Also fit 8 30’rd mags and Gatorade bottles pretty well. This is an excellent patrol set up. Say you need to plus up with a sleep system? Just rock a musset bag up on your shoulders or a small backpack and let the weight sit on your belt kit. Also, excellent way to plus up on mags is a simple and cheap chicom with 40rd mags. Russians made a chicom that fit six ak mags. Fits six 40rd mags excellent. Thank you for allowing me to rant, I hope this helps someone

Great videos man keep them coming. You've definitely got one of the best and most practical kits on the youtube. As a fellow GWOT vet, hope all is well.
The TAPS is my go-to chest rig, I love it for it's versatility and modularity. I agree, you don't have to spend tons of money on kit to be efficient. Nice kit setup.
I kinda like the idea of the flc. I like the vest style for ease of putting it on and the way it disputes the load of a real fighting load . I have been looking at a different belt and adding maybe a fanny pack IFAK.
@@Spartan-p3m all gear affects mobility, the more gear the greater the effect. But im able to move however I need to in full load with out to much restriction. im all for surplus gear, its the way (as long as prices/supplies hold) but i absolutely hate the flc. I bought a surplus lbv w/belt and pouches for $30, then 25$ condor slim battle belt to nest it in. Anyone who likes gear but hates the highway robbery prices of name brands, get yourself a nice sturdy older sewing machine and some fabric.
