I really, really love this. I'm on vacation. Just started out today. Leaving Missouri to Tennessee, the heading to Pennsylvania and New York to enjoy the autumn Foliage, and some history. Pennsylvania is my home state. Anyway, I really love this because of all the fall colors. Every tutorial that you do teaches me so much. I could never thank you enough for sharing your artistic talent. 🧡💜🤎💛❤️🖌xx
You’re trip sounds like it will be amazing! I hope you thoroughly enjoy every minute of it! I would love to travel there to see the autumn leaves someday, I hear it’s amazing! Isn’t autumn time just the best?! The little chill in the air, the turning leaves, the crisp fresh apples…. Ahhh, I just LOVE it! 🍂 Thanks for being a continued support Penny, it means a lot. 💕 Safe travels!
Thank you so much Helene. 🥰 You are always so kind! I had a lot of fun painting this, I hope you’ll give it a try too. 😉 As always thanks for watching today my artist friend! 💕
Hi Liesl! I just so happen to have a dagger brush and haven’t used it yet. Can’t wait to try this delightful composition. This will make another lovely greeting card! I grew up in New England and really miss all the beautiful autumn colors. For a project in elementary school we ironed these yellow, orange, red, green and a little brownish leaves that we gathered at home between two sheets of wax paper. Great memories! 😊💕 Thanks again for another wonderful tutorial with your helpful tips! Have a lovely weekend!
How fun! Isn’t autumn just the best?! That’s so neat that you grew up in New England, I’m sure it’s so beautiful there, (especially in the autumn!)🍂 I hope you enjoy breaking in that dagger brush of yours 😉 they are a lot of fun once as you get the hang of them. Happy painting my friend. 🥰
WOWZA! So beautiful, I love fall and all the warm colors. Thanks for all the wonder dagger tips and tricks. They are really helpful. Another wonderful tutorial! You're the best! 🎨❤
Autumn time is my absolute favorite season! It’s fun to try to capture it on paper. 🥰 Thanks for watching today Madonna, you’re amazing! 💕 Have a wonderful week.
Welcome to my channel! I’m so happy to hear you enjoyed this little video. 🥰 Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and comment, I truly appreciate it! I hope you have a lovely day. 💕
Well, I just hope you enjoy your watercolor journey! It took me quite a while to truly get the hang of it, but I’m so happy I didn’t give up because it’s one of my favorite mediums now! Happy painting my new artist friend. 🎨
Yay! It’s my absolute favorite too! 🎉What’s not to love….the vibrant colors, the chill in the air, the ripe apples on the trees, the crunching of leaves as you walk….ahhh it’s just the best! 🥰 🍁 Thanks so much for watching, I hope you have a wonderful time giving this a try. Happy painting my friend!
Beautiful work my friend! Loving all the fall colors and vibes I’m seeing here and on Instagram. Fall is my favorite season but it’s subtle here in Florida. I’m originally from the Northern Midwest where fall lasted only 3 weeks and winter 9 months. Fall is where mother natures shines in her colors. She is the Mother of all artists! Thanks for a great tutorial. I have a tiny dagger brush, but two larger Princeton petal triangle brushes so maybe I’ll give those a go. Blessings to you!
Hi Rita! I agree with what you said… autumn being “the Mother of all artists”….I’ve never heard it put better! I love the fall so much, it just brings joy to my soul! I live near the base of a mountain, so the fall colors are easy for me to see and get close to. I’m sorry that Florida’s autumn colors are not as lovely as you’d like. 😕 Maybe painting autumn will help! 😉🎨 Have a wonderful day my friend.
Another great tutorial from you! Very nice. I bought that same set of brushes last week and I’m shocked at how much I’m enjoying them. I’ve bought over 10 dagger brushes in the past year, searching for the “right” one for me. The. one in set is my favorite of all.
Yes, they are not too bad of brushes at an affordable price, I use them often. 🥰 Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment today! Have a great week!
@@paulsummers5658Well, I appreciate your input. I have a hard time making everyone happy on this front, because in other videos when I draw the lines lightly in the beginning then people complain to me because they can’t see them, (in fact I just got another comment like that today,) so this was my attempt to help people be able to see what I was doing, but still keep the lines light. If you have any ideas on how I can solve this problem I’d be more than happy to hear them! 😊 Thanks for watching!
I hope you’ll give this technique a try! Who knows, maybe you’ll have success this time around. 😉😉 Thanks for watching Olga, I appreciate you. 🥰 Have a lovely week!
This technique may take a bit of practice to get the hang of, but I think you can do it! And the practice is worth it because it really is SO much fun to do! 🥰 Thank you so much for taking the time to watch, I’m glad to hear you enjoyed it. Take care and happy painting!
This was so soothing and relaxing to watch 😌 i dont know why I am afraid to try water color but I have admired it my whole life. This seems like an excellent, easy beginner project without too much fine detail. Thank you! 🍂🍁
Watercolors can take a bit of practice to get the hang of, so I can understand the hesitation to get started! But I hope you take the plunge and give it a try, because they are so much fun to paint with! I’ll list a few other beginner friendly tutorials down below that might help if you’re interested. 🥰 Thank you for watching and happy painting! You are so sweet! I’m so happy to hear you liked this! 🥰 Although I have done my own music in some of my tutorials, this lovely composition is called Falling Snow by Aakash Gandhi, and I agree, it is very beautiful! Thanks so much for taking the time to watch and comment today! Have a wonderful day. 💕
Beautiful! This is the best demonstration of using a dagger brush I've seen so far. Can you please specify which dagger brush you used? In the description it shows 3/4 Dagger, but the Artegria Brush Set has only 3/8. I love the way you painted these leaves and I'm going to try and practice painting like that. Thank you!
I’m so glad you said something! The dagger brush is a 3/8, I must have just got mixed up when I typed it in the description. I’ll go fix that! 🥰 Happy painting!
These paints are tube paints, but they’re not fresh out of the tube. They have sat in the wells in my palette for several months, (some colors even years if it’s not a color I use very often! 😅) However the brand of paints I use do tend to stay a little more soft than other brands, even when they’ve been out of the tube for a long time, which is one of the reasons I enjoy this brand. (The brand is M. Graham & Co. Tube Paints amzn.to/48dKZBW if you’re interested.) Another reason they look a little soft in this video is probably because I had previously been practicing these leaves before I started recording, so some of the colors already had some amount of water laying on top of the color making them a little more soft. Hope this answers your question! Thanks for watching. 🥰
Hi! If you’re talking about a purchasable outline, then no, I didn’t create one for this because it was more of a free hand type piece, but I’ll consider making one. 😊 Thanks for the interest!

Do you use your paint straight from the tubes? It looks so soft and not hard at all like most pan or cake watercolor paints.
