So, in one hand, we sacrifice 3 tiers to have 600 coins instead of grinding for 540
... but in the other now the full mythic "cost" 8 tiers instead of one.

genji is such a waste, it was such a good idea in theory imo, and they ruined it
If you did every weekly since launch you could have 4800 coins by now. And you could've had 5400 with this new coins in the bp model, so it's a slight increase in the amount of free coins
Better yet you dont have to grind some annoying mission anymore
and you get rid of the grind, since you needed to get almost every weekly challenge to get all the coins
they still should increase the weekly amount but i will say that it's nice that they depreciate with each tier so you get the biggest reward with only 4 challenges

what they could do is have the game modes before where we would play as mercy, rein, tracer and torb against omnics in kings row. but have them switch it and it will be widow sombra doom and moira in the whole event instead
I'd still kill for a new genji highlight intro, it's been years since the pumpkin one, and the most recent battle pass one is just sad. on the bright side I CAN FINALLY WALK AS GENJI.
I like that we can buy past mythics, but I think we should be able to earn the current mythic in the battle pass

I'm very glade about the changes they made with the coins on the battle pass. Normally I try to farm some Microsoft Reward points whenever the incomming new Mythic skin is for one of my main (I did it with hanzo and Ana for example) but now I don't really need to think about it, that very cool for us !

im curious how mythic prisms are gonna work, bc i was never able to get any until season 9
Mythic prisms are only going to be available in the battle pass, and their purpose is to buy mythic skins from previous seasons
Do you have to use all the prisms to unlock one Mythic skin? or will you have to unlock the skin then unlock the different levels of customization?

50 base form and 10 additional points for every of the 3 extra options so yea 80 points for 1 full mythic
I would advise tho to save 2 season and get 3 base mythics for people who missed 3 or more mythics just saying 😂
Having the mythic not be in the battle pass but in the shop instead is… a choice.
As long as the mythic prisms from the pass are enough to buy the skin, it should be fine.
This has been explained and talked about. I think it's a great choice. It gives people the freedom to choose an old mythic skin if they don't like the current one.
It truly is a great choice. I never understood in a game that is designed for the heroes to attract the player, why would you limit the "Peak cosmetic' for that hero just to encourage buying by FOMO. I knew they were going to do a Mythic Shop and I'm glad they did cause (1) it is a better experience for players overall (2) it does not take away from buying the BP.
There is literally no downside. You still get the Mythic through the BP by getting the prisms, but now you also have the option to get Mythics from past seasons you missed.
I personally think this is a good choice, considering the fact it’s now in a separate category where you could buy it, it also offers more options to add stuff into the bp that would be worth getting, on top of the fact that heroes are no longer locked behind a paywall or exp grind. So far, great changes to this season and it’s not even out yet

Bap and Brig are the best the rest are okay. Most people don't play Symmetra or Widowmaker so a huge waste

With 600 coins in the battlepass, if you complete two battlepasses. Then you get a battlepass for free if you save all 1200. Or you could just buy the skins from the shop or keep saving to get the next crossover skin. Also if you save your mythic currency, you can just skip until you find one you like more without having to buy the future battlepass because you bought a previous one.
In fact that i will be able to buy the pass bc of the 400 coins that i got from weekly missions so

The mythic changes are so dog shit. You pay for the currency, just to maybe get a mythic you missed, and then are just forever behind on mythics
u always paid for mythics and u were forever behind on mythics if u missed one in the old system too. the system is the same it just lets u get an old one if u dont like the current one

These battlepasses are mostly full of junk besides a few good voicelines, Mercy’s new voiceline sounds awesome. they really should increase the voicelines you can equip for each hero and have more of them in the battlepasses instead of offering 3 different currencies, souvenirs, weapon charms, avatars, name cards etc. don’t get me wrong i understand if people like these stuff and not voicelines. Voicelines are under appreciated imo and a hidden embracer for this silly happy-go-lucky war game
Have to admit, they cooked with the Bap, Brig, Sym and Genji skins. 🔥
Not a huge fan of the “Talon to Overwatch” skins, they look a bit boring. The “Overwatch to Talon” skins looks miles better imo
