Fun fact: You can view actual Hanamura from Hanaoka
And backup fun fact, this is the only way to view Hanamura at all anymore. The map got wiped from the game, both in the arcade and custom game.

Being able to troll your friends with names is honestly kinda hilarious
From what I experienced while playing, this gamemode and map are EXTREMELY stagger-heavy. If you get staggered, you're gonna end up losing multiple team fights, because the spawns move further back every time and it ends up with 2 people dying, 3 people retreating, repeat that over and over until it's last point.
Then the nightmare begins. Last point is wildly difficult to cap in comparison to the middle three. The defender spawn is basically on point, meaning their time to get back in the fight is instant. Meanwhile, attackers spawn back on the middle, which is a long ass walk to do anything. Attackers have to have a gigantic ult rush if they want to do anything, or suffer bleeding resources and getting sent back to spawn and then getting staggered, which then means that the defenders have a free two points.
These devs releasing an unbalanced, unfun game mode? I can't believe it.
This is quite literally Team Fortress 2 but with Overwatch 2 heroes.
We don't have 2fort or High Tower yet. So not yet.

pretty sure in 5cp you had to defend the point you just took, not just that everyone moves to the next one
Mode does need some adjustments but people who think it's bad are definitely overreacting. Especially since there is no role queue so steamrolls are bound to happen more.
Edit: okay there is role queue I just wonder how many others are aware of that.
It has the opposite problem push does and it's somehow more infuriating. Every game I've played is just 9 super fast team fights then insta caps. And I have yet to see a team capture even 2 points in a row. It's always back and forth on who wins points because it is so heavily defense favored. It essentially boils down to whoever wins first point just wins the game outright.
It shows up in quickplay rotation. It deffo feels better with full hp tanks and pre defined roles
@@albinofroggy my only main issue is that if it's going to be defense favored why give them a point for taking back the lost objective. They should at least not be rewarded for taking back points A or E (the final ones).
There is role queue its in regular rotation u can just play role in qp and ull get it eventually

@@Sidus666 as in, without serious reworks like the timing of the captures. In push even stomps feel like there’s some sort of win condition. In clash, it’s the ultimate version of rock paper scissorswatch, barely enough time to assess who to counter with

Seagull being krusher99 is an insane crossover get krushed
My first match no one on my team except my friend and I realized how the capture system worked so no one was attempting to contest on our team when the enemy was capturing. We lost insanely fast.

Don't think it's a bad mode, it's just too fast. You can't take a breath between 2 fights and it feels overwhelming. Could use some tweaking on the timings

As a TF2 oldhead I wish they had made it more like TF2 5CP instead of moving king of the hill.

And also the game being able to end so quickly is a pretty lame bandaid fox bc of that like there’s no actual tug of war
Well it is a only a limited time mode for now. Maybe they'll change things on actual release
I'm glad they didn't. Otherwise you'd get the same problem there is in Sixes. You would have to run a super hypermobile team comp no matter what so that you could switch between defense and offense. Even moreso than TF2 because there is generally less mobility than something like rocket or sticky jumping can give you to fly back to the previous point to deal with a backcapping scout. There'd be no room for slow heroes on any point except last, just like Sixes.

I really like that Clash is literally a reimagined 2 CP in which attackers actually have a chance to win beyond just getting that "last" point by the spawn

My first experience on this map we got stomped and the game was barely 2 minutes long, I was so fucking confused
For me it lasted a half hour and my team lost becouse of them stalling the point for minutes.every Single guy on their team had 15 or above deaths😢

Overwatch 2 honestly did 5cp pretty well. Games sometimes end pretty quickly but it's probably not going to be much of a problem once people get used to it

This game mode should've been released instead of flashpoint. Flashpoint feels so slow with the spawns being so far away from every damn point

2CP IS BACK BABY!!! I love this new mode so much it's nonstop fighting nonstop FUN
I dislike this game more, hot take but I like push and flashpoint far better. Any escort game in comp and take up to a half hour and it’s just aggravating, push and flashpoint have the right amount of timeframe for a game mode that still could be ended fairly quickly and not drag forever.
I think it borders on unplayable lol I hate it
wish they just put the arcade games in the same menu as the QP so people actually play the modes

Why do they make these game modes open queue and not roll queue, it gives a terrible vision of the actual game mode.
its possible to get it in qp but its random. Kind weird tbh, it should have a higher chance to get it

This Mode should be left in arcade, and never leave arcade, in fact never show ever again in the game, change it for the pve

The new game mode is cool but the game isn't fun anymore and I'm done with it. Too many bad decisions and Venture/the inability to leave any games in the CASUAL mode are the final straw. When I can win a game without hitting the primary fire once you know there's something wrong. I'll keep watching you for your reaction content, but I'm fucking done with Overwatch.
