That's why she puts the alarm across the room. So the only way to turn it off is to MOVE. Once I start moving I then need to pee. So there's no going back to bed. My planner waits for me in the bathroom, and reminds me to have a productive day.

Meditation is life changing, especially if you have anxiety or you spend lots of time overthinking, it helps you to stay still and let things go. At first you will have a hard time standing still and your mind might wander one to many times, but even ten minutes a day will do the trick! 😘

Been pretty isolated for about 4 months now... I've had a lot of loneliness and sadness in my heart, but I've totally grown as a person. I've learned to enjoy my own presence. Even though I feel completely alone some days my solitude has blessed me and I know this phase won't last forever. I'm thankful that I've learned the concept of self love through my solitude and depression❤

*WOW I Totally agree, I get up at 5am everyday and prep all my meals. I don't read as I don't have time - I listen on Audible on my morning commute. Knowledge really is everything. You really just have to prioritise your goals and not quit until you see them achieved. I've just started a fitness channel (I'm a doctor in 4 months and an athlete) would LOVE if anyone reading this could stop by and check it out! There are loads of meal preps, workouts on there too. Have a fab day either way all!*

I guess you can say today was my "gyst" day. right before I went to lay down for bed I smoked a cigarette & got the worst headache afterwords. I sat there and thought why am I doing this to myself. I feel tired , and exhausted for no reason ...my anxiety is always going crazy and I told myself SOMETHING NEEDS TO CHANGE because its not normal to have a headache and feel down all day everyday. & tonight I discovered your channel and I'm so happy i did. tomorrow is a new day and I'm going to try my best to leave cigarettes alone and begin a happy healthy lifestyle. I'm only 20 + its never to late . I got this and I'm ready 💪 ty for your inspiring videos.

    Love it!
For me I find that meditating is good. Listening to a chill Spotify playlist in the evening before bed instead of scrolling on social media. Switching from bright overhead lights at night to Himalayan salt lamps and fairy-light lanterns. Sipping on a fancy organic spiced hot chocolate or tea with two squares of dark chocolate or a scoop of ice cream really makes my evening. All these things ground me and destress me, which is so good for my health. Just knowing that I get to have dessert each night is such a bomb form of selfcare and really stops me from binging. Thank you for your great videos! 💗

My healthy habits for 2017 are (1) rewriting my big goals every day in my dayplanner to keep me on track, (2) giving myself at least one task every day that will move me closer to reaching one of those goals, and (3) writing down positive things about my progress (e.g. "I'm so proud of myself for aiming higher than I am usually comfortable with, and for all the work I've done this week to reach this new milestone.") and three things I'm grateful for.

Since my boyfriend and I have bought a house, our weekends are not what they used to be when we were living with our parents... we have a lot less money to spend and we need to budget. weekends are our 'get your shit together time' aka = clean up, do laudry, organise our week, go to the gym. And since the beginning of January we have been eating healthy + exercising. One thing I have noticed so much is whenever we actually treat ourselves to a new pair of shoes, going on a date, eat out, movies : we appreciate it so much more!
Meal prep has made such a difference in our groceries, eating clean has made such a difference in our budget... thank you for being inspirational ❤💋

Even when I'm the laziest person and I can't actually follow most of the other advices; the "gyst" day is something that had helped me during the most stressfull phases of my life. It gives you motivation, it makes you feel more adult and resposible, it helps you to keep things under control and it's like a day to expect to treat yourself and strike a balance. That is a really good advice and I strongly recomend it, it really makes a difference.

One added habit I'd suggest is setting a monthly / bimonthly goal on a hobby that you've been wanting to do. I started this last year. My hobbies have included taking art classes, signing up for a dance performance, Rosetta Stone Spanish, etc. It's nice to have a fun goal that you set a timeframe for rather than just saying "someday I'd love to" do this or that.
    Loved your video! Great advice!

I really like your point about preparing for your morning in advance. In addition, I find that if I make a short to do list for that morning, I end up being very productive. Also, I really like your "gyst day". I neglect so many things, and i'd really like to sort my stuff out on Sundays, like you suggest. I'd also recommend a habit that I heard from Canadian entrepreneur/ UA-cam vlogger, Evan Carmichael, who explained that he always plays an awesome song first thing when he wakes up, while drinking a glass of water because we get very dehydrated overnight! It helps me to feel really motivated first thing.

Similar to tip #6 I get overwhelmed with small items like doing laundry, send an important email etc and I hate it when I forget to do these small but important things in my life. So I leverage the reminder app on my phone so I get a reminder of important things I need to do. I also find it rewarding when I do something before the app notifies me. A small win :)

But then again, I am actually a really good reader who reads a ton and I mainly come onto youtube just to get myself motivated and to get myself motivated to work out and eat healthier.
