Real problem, ladies and gents.
Mel Mason That's amazing for going to sleep meditations. You might find yourself more likely to stay awake if you are sitting on a couch, or chair. Also, be aware that sometimes the things that you need most from a meditation may come to you differently than expected. If your body needs lower REM time, meditation might be what brings you that. Trust your body. I've been teaching meditation for 7+ years and practicing for over two decades. Not trying to be preachy, just wanted to let you know that meditation comes in all shapes and walks of life - including walking meditations.
My biggest addiction/habit is bingeing on UA-cam😁 But it's calorie free and I love it!!!

I want to workout more. Always wanted to but it’s hard for me to get into the habit of doing it.
MiKayla Rose Maybe you haven’t found that thing you really like doing so it becomes a chore you have to push yourself to both get started with and push to finish it.
Or perhaps you’re like me, having different workout things you really enjoy when you do it, but are to quick to listen to your excuses of why you are not even starting the workout that day.
Then it’s Will power and/or a workout buddie of some kind that hold you accountable and who you let down beside yourself if you don ’t show up.
Well, that’s all advice clicheés I’ve heard over the years that seem to work.

The daily streak thing, about forming your habits is so true! I'm trying to ease into veganism (just letting myself run out of what groceries I have, and not purposely buying non vegan food). And that streak is the only thing that's stopped me from getting mcdonalds on my way home from work. I also got inspired by you to start a planner. I've set time aside to fill in what needs done and it's done well for me so far.

A book I think you would really like is 365 Days of Wonder or the app Daily Wonder. Both of them give you a new quote everyday(since you love quotes). I really enjoy it and I hope you check it out.

I prefer the Calm app versus Headspace. I prefer the guiders voice in Calm and it’s a much more relaxing meditation I find personally anyway 😊

Working on daily habits is a big thing I’m focusing on this year as well! I haven’t looked too much into bullet journaling but one thing I have incorporated into my monthly routine is a habit tracker!! It helps keep me on top of all of the little things I want to accomplish each day!

Try using the Calm app! The instructor is a woman and her voice is way more soothing! 😌 p.s- i LOVE that your content aligns with everything I want to be doing right now. And this is a great source for me when I’m looking for motivation. Just seeing you stick to it, and making these videos as an example! I just love it so thank you 😌💕

i LOVE meditating lying down. whenever i sit i can't really relax for some reason. it works when i'm on the train, but not when i'm at home.

I also used to struggle with getting up in the morning and going to bed early until I read the miracle morning. a complete game changer for me and now I love my 5am mornings! I highly recommend this book if you're serious about your 11pm bedtime and 7am habit. xox
I've had several New Years resolutions, some of them like eating healthier and working out more haven't worked out yet because I haven't had the opportunity since I've been busy but I've actually managed to keep my room tidy for a week (something rare for me) and write down in my journal everyday, I'm from England and my biggest goal this year is to travel to America and Canada! Love you ❤️
Changing your sleep routine and sleep hygiene takes time. Incremental steps back by 15 minutes or so as your body adjusts will help you fall asleep more readily at that time. As someone who has struggled with insomnia for 15 years and has finally got it figured out I hope some of my hard won lessons help: set bedtime alarms (change the sound for this to be less jarring and more relaxing) and set them earlier than you think necessary. The first one should be more of a reminder to do all of the pre-bedtime things (get washed up, have some Sleepytime tea if you like, get changed into PJs if not already, last call for dog pee trips (I've got a 12 year old small dog, I'm no stranger to the before bed routine for him as well), set another alarm for an hour before you'd like to get to sleep. Try to put away screens, listen to an audiobook or read, journal, bullet journal about things to be done the following day so it's not on your mind as you fall asleep. I'm not sure about headspace, but the Buddhify app has a lot of bedtime meditations, from progressive muscle relaxations, to over a dozen just for sleep, and more for when you are having a hard time falling asleep. If all else fails, focus on your breathing for a while, that usually works. If not, read some more but maybe on the couch - don't stay in bed when you can't sleep. These are the things that helped me, but never be too hard on yourself. You got this! You just picked a resolution that takes time to get into.
I'm in love with headspace. Been going through the anxiety pack and it's been helping so much. I definitely understand what you mean about feeling so calm and good after doing one of the meditations.
Since January 1st my family and I have been sticking to the Whole 30 cleanse really well and it's really hard but I have been sticking through it! It's a cleanse to get your body out of relying on sugar to give you energy, so it is no sugar, no dairy, no wheat, and nothing processed. (It isn't vegan though) I'm pretty happy with how I've started the year off so far!

When I started meditating I liked HeadSpace because it teaches you how to acknowledge your thoughts and move on but I eventually started to use the app called Calm, its really really good too.
Headspace has an amazing deal for their yearly prescription on right now girl!! I’ve been loving this app for so many months now I hope u continue loving it too💗

you should check out the app productive! you can create things you want to get into the habit of doing and pick the times of day you want to do them and how often, like daily weekly monthly...you develop streaks of how many habits you've achieved in a row. i have it and it's definitely motivating to continue doing whatever habit i have (like reading more) because i don't want there to be a break in my streak
could you do a like beginner's guide to working out? like how to create a workout routine; what to do for a warm up, how long, what kind of exercises to do and how many reps and a cool down? i'm so lost when it comes to making routines, i just find whatever exercises i see on pinterest and do that but i never know what to do for a cool down or warm up

The first week of the new year, I worked out 3x instead of 4x I wanted too, got my cleaning done, have also started meal making at home 4 days out of 3, and Journaled everyday ^.^ still need to get down trying to meditate everyday, but I concur that the first week of 2018 seems to be going well so far 💕

I have used headspace in the past for guided meditation. I have to say I enjoy the guides from the app Calm. If you ever get tired of headspace I totally recommend the Calm App!! 🧘🏼♀️
