EP58 - A Serenity Prayer for TRAs - With Laura Hobbs

- Laura Hobbs is a self described "Gay-GP", a play on Autogynephilia (AGP) with a meta attraction to men. Having once been a controversial and radical trans activist, she has learned that self awareness and acceptance, not the activist narrative, has greatly improved her overall mental health.

Thank you for platforming Laura. I think her honesty and candor is very much needed in the trans conversation and in conversations about homosexuality. Laura knows that she's a man and she's attracted to other men. The acceptance of material reality is a model that I hope others suffering with gender dysphoria are inspired by.
Omg. Cannot wait.
While some progress has been made clearly this person has a long journey ahead to mature.
Fascinating conversation. Another layer of complexity. I'm glad Laura has reached such a level of self-understanding and self-acceptance.
Thanks Laura! Hugs
Queer theory as the origin of gender dysphoria 👍

@@TransparencyPodcast1 Hey, thanks!
Laura doesn't sound very self-aware. Maybe she's the kind of person who will never learn how to think though major life choices rather than using the "Life is short" excuse. When you're old and suffering for all the ridiculous things you did when you were young, you realize that life can be really really long. She also sounds extremely self-absorbed.
Yeah, I really can't listen to more of this. All kinds of magical thinking and clearly clearly bad choices. She changed her career choice from death-metal bassist to coder so that she could become filthy rich? Right, because that's how life works.
I feel sorry for what Laura has suffered through, but she also made some very poor choices that put her in ridiculously unsafe positions.
I want to commend Laura for having the courage to share her life story with us. I know that she has been through hell and back and fortunately she came through it wiser and learned some valuable life lessons. The key to happiness and overcoming dysphoria is accepting yourself and I am so happy to see that Laura has done just that. I wish her the best in her life journey and kudos to the 2 Aarons for having her on and making another entertaining and thought provoking episode.
This is a hate group posing as a self help group, I know what these people's true intentions are
@@MysticalPotatoHeadGrooveThing Just by the name of it "Gender Dysphoria Alliance" its a red flag sounds like the LGB Alliance and I went to both of their websites and they were SUPPORTING JK ROWLING'S TRANSPHOBIA!!!!
