We've tried taking timelapses a few times with our indoor garden, but we always get so much flickering from the lights. How are you avoiding that flicker from the LED lights? Thanks!
Great video . I want to know that what if we want to make more then one time laps of video of different plant with one camera . So how to deal with it ?
I have a question, how did you keep power on your Intervalometer from begin to end of this process? Does it not run out of power? Thx for good explanation, you made my day!
Well with a DC adapter you can run it without interruption. When it comes to lifetime: So far two of my cameras died but both of them were more or less running for over 3 years now
Amazing. I want to know how do you calculate the interval between each shot. I make time lapse videos of clouds and sunset using phone. I want to try make a plant timelapse video. Would be great if you can help me out. 😊
@@GauravLatwal8 well it depends, for calculating the number of pictures or the time until your SD is full:yes , but to estimate the speed of the plant growth you have to check in between two frames if there is to much change
My question is, how are the plants getting nutrients from the sun if there is no sun? I thought they need the sun to grow as it's its primary source of energy
Do you have any questions on creating a timelapse? Feel free to ask! :)
Is there any cheaper alternatives for the camera

You have the best channel. Thanks for making this video!
Thanks so much!😊
❤❤
Are you the same person?
@@Moth-pz9vg yes! Both are my channel - I started the second one since a lot of people asked for more details :-)
Wonderful tutorial!
Thank you! Cheers!
Thanks for sharing 👍
Bro you showed us masterpiece for results of effort, combined patience. It's very makes my day ❤❤
Thank you so much 😊 glad you like it!
Thank you for the tutorial :)
Thanks you very much - well appriciated!!
Thanks for sharing! Quick question, doesn't the nikon have a built in intervalometer function?
Yes it does and why would you need a battery adapter when you can just use the camera power supply?
@@icemanf6417 I understand the battery adapter, to make sure the camera never runs out of power, but yeah the intervalometer is unnecessary
Indeed it has a intervalometer - however I often had issues with intervals being not precise and stopping out of nowhere (mostly after several days)
Great explanation, many thanks
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for the comment!
How do you move your camera from a plant to an other if you do more timelapses in the same month? Or do you use one camera per plant?
Yea indeed I use multiple cameras!
Can we do this on iphone? Any app that pictures every 3 minutes
Yes! I also started with a old iPhone on a tripod :-) (check my Timelapse channel the sundew video)
Great video . I want to know that what if we want to make more then one time laps of video of different plant with one camera . So how to deal with it ?
easiest is to get multiple cameras tbh
Nice tutorial for indoor shoot. But any guidance to do so with outdoor shoot. Do manual clicking of pics everyday can achieve this goal.
I use the same setup outdoor - but in a little box with slightly different camera settings
Great work! What temperature do you keep the area in where you grow?
Mostly around 20 degree Celsius 😊

No the battery have quite enough lifetime
What lamp are you using
I have some links to products I used under some videos :)
How long camera stands with continuous power supply?
What about life of the camera which stands more than month?
Well with a DC adapter you can run it without interruption. When it comes to lifetime: So far two of my cameras died but both of them were more or less running for over 3 years now
Your videos are very nice and smooth. Do you turn off the light at night?
Mostly not, depends on the plant!
Did you keep the lights on the entire time?
For some of them yes!
How long is the interval between shots of each picture
I mostly choose 2 or 3 minutes

Depends on how fast the plants grow! Faster plants =less Interval, just play around with it
@@interestingasfckhowtos okay. Is there a formula or something to calculate?

@@interestingasfckhowtos okay thanks for the info. I'll try to make one soon.
How long video shot per hour
I mostly take picture every 3 minutes
It's interesting that a lamp is continuously working....I will try it with mushrooms 🍄 and mycelium
Let me know how it goes :-)
@interestingasfckhowtos I will...in next 10 days I will buy Canon Eos R (from my friend) with 100mm macro lens for mycelium timelapse
My question is, how are the plants getting nutrients from the sun if there is no sun? I thought they need the sun to grow as it's its primary source of energy
They get the nutrients from the soil and the sun is replaced by a plant lamp :-)
