I feel I'm partly responsible for all of this." In that sense the butler was like Luis Sera because they both felt guilty for not seeing what Saddler was planning until it was too late.

Like knowing how Mendez and Salazar became what they are and how Saddler became himself. Same with Luis and the butler, it would have been great if we got to meet the butler and know more about Luis. Fusion Tide Cuz It's because you used the Rockets Launcher. Without the Rockets Launcher, Salazar is hard to kill.. Especially with his "tentacles", the big mouth that can kill you instantly and the creatures that are below the room.
The rocket launcher method is such a cheap way of defeating enemies. It's like a cheat weapon. You'd better not use it if you want a serious challenge.
I always shoot at the red eye with a Red 09 or a Riot Gun and then fire away at Salazar with a Broken Butterfly. 5 shots from a completely tuned-up Broken Butterfly are enough to kill Salazar. I just try to beat the game without buying a Rocket Launcher from the Merchant so I only get to use the one found in the Castle. And I use it either on the Verdugo or in the room with the 2 Garradors.
Even though i don't think capcom will do this (probably) (maybe) (ehhh they could do it possibly ) i hope salazar isn't removed in re4 remake and i realllly hope they keep his personality the same (of course with more depth to his character & maybe a bit more info on his background and story ) i don't mind a re-design but i hope that it somewhat stays faithful to the original thanks for reading just wanted to say my thoughts :)

It took a rocket launcher shot on the normal difficulty to sack him. In the harder difficulty its a rocket n change depending on your weapons.
