Bringing race into everything is racist. When it’s done, it makes it seem like blacks have never accomplished anything, when in fact they have always accomplished, innovated, created, and certainly fished. This man is a legend and is a product of American culture we should be celebrating that and coming together to create a strong civil bond and culture without racism.
@@jessemartinez3652Naw he means black. Because clearly a skin color is what defines a culture not its history. 😂😂😂 Buddy is a braindead corporate drone slave.
I 100% respect this man and all the full time fisherman. Honestly. I just don't get all the fishing arts and crafts. As a "part time" fisherman I do just as good with Walmart equipment and local bait shops as I see with all the extras. But then again I am part time so maybe I'm missing something 😅
I've been using Super Glue to hold small tube jigs tight to the jig heads otherwise the Crappie tear them off so easily. This looks like a good solution for larger plastics. Thanks !
That is a pretty solid hack! I'm not sure if a heat gun (instead of the lighter) would push the tubing around too much to keep it in place while setting it. A heat gun would keep it from burning vs a lighter.
Gamakatsu Super Line EWG are the only hooks I use for any Texas rig. I had great hook ups with ewg hooks but was constantly getting bent out so I went to flipping hooks. I was still losing fish and the ones I did catch were getting hooks thru the eye which is no Bueno. Enter the SuperLine EWG and all of my problems stopped immediately. 90% of the fish are hooked in the thick meaty plate of the jaw or right in the top of the beak.
@@BrianLatimerFishing incorrect sir !!! Because it's not that big a damn deal to have to touch the worm and wiggle it back straight between casts is why !!!!
with heat shrink just hold the lighter underneath it like 4 inches and then spin the hook only above the flame and it will get a lot tighter where you dont need to super glue it. just keep the hook keeper part away from directly over the flame. heat rises so always want to keep the lighter always under. unless you have a heat gun. that works also. but good tip.
Brian is the guy you DON’T want to fish against in a tournament. He goes the extra mile on absolutely everything and is an extremely technical fisherman. I believe he’s been re-incarnated as human…. Previously a fish
The only problem with this is you have to tear your worm up to take it off the book now ... Not really a big deal but when the 10pk of worms I use costs $10 it's not really the way I want to go especially when trying to figure out which color worm they like in whatever area I'm fishing ...
For year's they have sold premium hooks already rigged like this there called rebar hooks they come in diechi and owner hooks we used to get them from robo worm
This guy is a complete G when it comes to fishing.
Now that's a keeper tip there
That’s a great DIY tip right there.
Well, done video! Finally, someone who can describe and demonstrate what message and idea they are trying to convey.
New Subscriber. Dude has taught me so much in a week.

You’re by far my favorite fisherman to watch man… appreciate all you do fr
Outstanding ingenuity, and it remains soft enough that it will pass the bite test of darn near any fish !
Great ‘tip’. Thanks big guy.
That looks straight out the factory. Thats an awesome idea!🤘🏻
Mind of a genius 💯💪🏾
Nice !!! Thanks for the tips 😀

"our culture" the fishing culture?

Simple and useful
Freaking genius! 👏🏼👏🏼

Learned something new. Ty
Great tip , been doing it for decades up here in Michigan
looks good Brian, I'll chk in more.

Wow. Something actually helpful. I guess I've had enough internet today
Good idea I'm going to try this

It works!
Thats a great tip
great idea. could also make a HOVER RIG with a tungsten nail weight and jig hook.
Thanks for sharing
Great Idea.
I’ll do that before I pay for hooks with a plastic keeper.
Well... Subscribed.
great tip! thanks 👍
Awesome idea. You can get heat shrink with glue in it already too and it really holds. Just my two cents
Can’t beat those Spearpoint hooks! Game changer!!

That’s an awesome tip!
Not a bad idea. Might try this when I senko fish
Thank you.
Amazing Tip!
Good stuff!!!
Hey that’s pretty sweet! 👍
Holy shit! A fishing hack I'm actually going to try!
Buddy sound like Dave chappelle in the pop copy sketch
you are a freakin genius. what made you think to do that im getting ready to try it now
Nice
Thats a great DIY tip hoing to try it out this week that Brian
I don't have that much trouble without it !!!
Because you’re not using straight shank hooks is my guess

Chris Rock gone fishing 😂
Sup bro
Great info thank you
Cool technique
Brian knows all the hacks.
Brilliance 😮
Super.glue on the shank. Done
When do you use those spear points hooks? On what baits? Thanks BLat keep on crushing them
Looks good
Come and take me fishing Brian 😢😢😂.
That's bad ass bro you just got a new sub for that!

Thats a great idea
Great tip
That is an amazing tip
Brilliant
Heat shrink is useful for so many things.
Genius.
Thats slick
How does it work when you hook up the something real nice? does it wreck the bait
Or buy EWG hooks.
And if you’re flippin like I do in Florida, you gotta get heavy cover hooks anyway so most come with keepers. Just my o
Oh just keep the heat on it like heat shrink works glad u let us know that
The only problem with this is you have to tear your worm up to take it off the book now ... Not really a big deal but when the 10pk of worms I use costs $10 it's not really the way I want to go especially when trying to figure out which color worm they like in whatever area I'm fishing ...
Clever!...buck
Thats smart!
Why are the hooks shaped like that? Never seen those before.
Sponsored by VMC, but making your own hooks…. Legend
Legend?? Ok wow
Bro great tip but why not just use regular worm hooks???
Cool
I would think that the worm would just rip and be unusable as opposed to sliding down after a fish hits it?
Like the gambler ko hooks
That lil tip will snag every piece of moss the worm travels over. This is a lot of trouble when an offset shank worm hook does a way better job
Offsets are not strong enough for heavy grass. The top you speak of rest along the plastic to make the bait more Weedless
So when you gotta change the worm?
This is money!
Good deal
Can’t fish 🎣 smell the chemicals from the shrink wrap n glue? It’s a serious question
oh, cool. Thanx.
What brand of hook is that? Haven’t seen it before watching your videos.
Spearpoint Hooks. They're alright, I've only ever used em on a weightless senko. 🤷♂️
Smart smart smart
For year's they have sold premium hooks already rigged like this there called rebar hooks they come in diechi and owner hooks we used to get them from robo worm
I wish he was my neighbor!
Or you could just use a dab of super glue by itself and skip the hard part 😂
Khaby lame bout to eat this up
So it just rips instead of sliding
👍🏼
Pretty swift
My girlfriend just got me these wanna try them out
