Been going there since the early 60's staying in morecambe, Westminster Road, what a beautiful place back then. Every year we would travel down from Glasgow and stay at the B&B Jean in big john Wild and there 3 boys ,great friends to us, ive got happy memories of morecambe I'm 65 now and still going even although its a ghost town i still ❤ it. Hope to see the improvements before the curtain comes down ❤😊 Heysham was busy back then with tourists, i remember the open top bus ,the ye old village, the go karts fantastic day out, thanks for the memories ❤
This brings back memories. Grew up in Heysham in the mid 60 -70's. Remember that old church and the view from the bay looking at the power station. I used to think it was so big and futuristic looking compared to the surrounding area
I loved growing up in Heysham/Morecambe - summers spent at either Heysham Head or using my annual pass at the pleasure beach that I always got for my birthday. Thank you for a reminding me how beautiful it looks :)
Hi Winnie. Dogs are allowed on the beach till the 30th April and it’;s safe for all. I will do my best to find out cafe’s for you from a dog handler friend of mine as i don;t have a dog x
