i've been playing the game going on nearly 4,500 (not proud of it) and i still miss backstabs. for me it's part of the fun

Unrelated, but it's also relieving to see how common it is to miss crossbow shots on targets that stand still) I want to quit each time when that happens.
For the kazotsky kick clip, if I had to guess why it kept playing after pausing and speeding up, I would have to say the demo system was abandoned before looping taunts and stuff were added in, so they just never accounted for the type of animation. It also explains why the unusual effects kept moving as well

13:22 for some reason, the taunt menu doesnt disappear after taunting when youre watching a recording. You have to press g in order for it to disappear again. Same thing happens with eureka effect teleports in demos, except in order to cancel that menu you'll have to press 1.

I love so much demo recording, I wish more games had it, its so cool to be able not only to save your gameplays with no cost but also its great being able to make them videos with all the graphics maxed up or other resolutions etc, also mods, I have been doing demo archeology since I found an old hdd with a buch of them(some from 2009), getting the old games to get them workings was fun(mostly gmod that always breaks them), and finding my friends and I original voice recordings and improving them with modern software is also very satisfying.
