I've been building my own K'rrik deck recently and found your video! Great build, it really leverages getting down to a low life total to gain advantage. I've been going in a different direction with a lot of low mana value reoccurring creatures like Sanitarium Skeleton and Bloodghast for an aristocrats style. Pontiff of Blight is also great for extorting opponents for an obscene amount of life drain.
Nice deck, I’ve recently built one also. I went down the line of draining my life then swapping life or repay in kind ect, then massacre worm or Gary, plenty of tutors also. Beseech the queen is very good also. Thanks for the video
Best thing about vampiric link is if the opponent has a huge creature you can't get rid of you just attach it to them and you gain life when they do damage. Also Peer into the Abyss if you can play fast mana can be played at only 3 life and still help you win.
Oh nice interaction! I've done something similar with Tainted Strike but never thought to do the same with Vampiric Link. I love Peer into the Abyss so much. Skirge Familiar and Zombie Infestation are great outlets for it as well. I do the same in my Asmodeus the Archfiend list where I have a large hand more often. Outside of Peer into the Abyss, I don't usually have a hand that can support those discard pay offs.

Thank you for the support! Some of the generically good but not necessary cards can be removed like Liliana, Dreadhorde General. There are quite a few cheap mana rocks so you can replace some of the more expensive ones for cards like Charcoal Diamond. The tutors will be hard to replace on a budget so maybe more card draw like Ancient Craving. I recommend going to EDHREC or scryfall to find out budget alternatives as well.
I love this list and it was very similar to what cards I wanted to be in! It's nice seeing a video on krrik from less then a year ago too, lmao. How strong would you say this list is? I am very tempted to build it with maybe just a couple small tweaks. Thank you for the upload!!
Thank you for the support! This list is a lot of fun. K'rrik is such a Naturally strong card I'd say it is focused, sitting around a 7. You could swap out maybe 10 cards to either get it to an 8 or lower it.

Demonic Tutor is a rather easy one to remove for Diabolic Tutor. The difference is negligible with K'rrik. Rather than 1 mana and 2 life, your paying 2 mana and 4 life and saving $30! Vampiric Tutor, Necropotence and Phyrexian Arena can also be replace with just some more card draw. Things like Underworld Connections, Cosmos Elixir, Promise of Power or Succumb to Temptation come to mind. Jet Medallion can be replaced with a Wayfarer's Bauble easy enough. The mana base you may have to be a little bit more creative and add what utility lands you like. Nykthos, Urborg, and Cabal Coffers are all lands so much stronger than others it would be hard to replace them. I try to stay around 25 basic swamps for the swamp payoffs. I would love to know how your list ends up. I don't usually make budget lists but as I make more decks, I need to consider using more budget cards myself.

I did make a few changes for price mostly, but the changes are; Yawg dad out- Asmodeous the archfiend in (I liked the idea of a baby griselbrand), Demonic tutor out- Diabolic tutor in, Deluge out- B sun zenith-in, Jet medallion out- Bauble in, Phrex. Arena out- imp's mischief in (had a copy already and just wanted it in the 99), liliana out- Ob nix reignited in, And Tendrils of corrup. out for Tendrils of agony, just cause I love the card and feel like it fits really well in the deck playstyle. So not a huge dip in cost, but significant enough to help and not hurt the list too much. I actually am curious as to what you yourself might take out to weaken it? I have a few newer friends in the group and want it to feel a little better for them to play against if possible, lmao. Also sorry I didn't just message you I couldn't find the option on your profile!!
I think they are all great suggestions for replacements! I've been trying to build a Asmodeous deck but haven't hit that sweet spot yet. As for tuning it down, it is quite difficult with K'rrik as it is such a powerful effect. I'd remove all tutors entirely and probably start removing cards that only cost black mana so that you at least have to be paying some generic costs each turn. Any big win cards like Aetherflux Reservoir and Gray Merchant of Asphodel as they may seem unfun to new players.

My latest version can be found here archidekt.com/decks/1353763. Ive only made one change so far adding Vorpal Sword. I need to make some changes. Ultimately I think the Prism Ring style effects are not worth it and I need to remove necropotence from the list as it's too powerful for what I want to play. Need to test some of those changes.
No, definitely fun and your quite safe with the more expensive stuff as they are pretty staple with K'rrik. I've added a "To Remove" category on my archidekt link. I'd need to test some replacements but the other 97 I'm very happy with.
