Lol, most Aussies don't mind a good dig at ourselves. It's in our culture. We use off colour humour to address issues we have with others daily. Loving this series.
Australians have a dark sense of humour as it's also a coping mechanism to try to keep as sane as possible when handling bad shit. Even Steve Irwin would've thought this funny. After all, we've named a swimming pool after a Prime Minister who drowned!
That Douglas Mawson costume was damn spot on! You'll see he modelled his outfit on the former $100 banknote. He was an Antartic Explorer. Other characters/outfits I recognised were: Dame Edna Everidge (pink-haired character created by comedian Barry Humpries), Cathy Freeman in her 2000 Olympics running suit, Bon Scott from AC/DC, and a blink-and-you'll-miss-it appearance of Croc Dundee and Ned Kelly (bushranger). Also, very maybe Angus Young, but maybe that character was going for Kylie Mole, I dunno.
I guess this video is saying, when teaching these guys to "Talk Australians" that you can't teach them how we are and expect them to act any different. In Australia you have to have a really tough skin to survive, we can be very blunt to the extreme
Not Bendy he said Bindi that is Steve Erwin's Daughter. The guy in Red Cap is Strop from original Paul Hogan Show that you must see Strop was actually very smart man along with his Wife Delvine also in same show.
Definitely the best episode in my opinion. Having a dig at yourself is always the best comedy. If you can't laugh at yourself or your culture then you have no humour at all.
Haha that Pauline Hanson skit is so fucking good! Edit: Holy shit when he walked in with the Steve Irwin costume I've never laughed harder. Welcome to classic Aussie humour.
Very dark humour in that one! Pauline Hanson is infamous in Australia for being a former fish & chip shop owner who formed a far-right populist party called "One Nation" in the late 1990s which tapped into certain community sentiments about immigrants, etc. She and her affiliates must surely hold the aussie record for the number of times they said "we're not racist, but...." followed by allegations such as Australia being "in danger of being swamped by asians" and so on. Her party was always racked by infighting and despite holding several government seats (districts) at various times never really achieved anything, as the record shows. She's currently a State senator in Queensland, which is kinda our equivalent of Florida in climate, political demographics, and theme parks!
Can you guys please react to video titled : "PERTABALAN AGONG KE-16 | SEMUA RAJA-RAJA MELAYU HADIR Kecuali Johor, Kelantan, Perlis & N.Sembilan"? Don;t forget to click on the English subtitle! This video is about a coronation of our 16th King of Malaysia or also known as 'Yang di-Pertuan Agong' and the coronation event is attented by nine King of each nine state of Malaysia and also attended by Sultan of Brunei as a noble guest (noted, King of Johor, Kelantan, Perlis & Negeri Sembilan didn't attended but instead taken place by their representatives) To give you guys a better understanding about our constitutional monarchy: Malaysia practices Parliamentary Democracy with Constitutional Monarchy and His Majesty The King as the Paramount Ruler. The Federal Constitution was legislated with the setting up of conditions for this system to exist. One of the characteristic of Parliament Democracy is the separation of powers into three parts which are the Legislative, the Judiciary and the Executive. Malaysia is also a country that practices a system of Democracy based on the Federation system. In accordance to this the states of Perlis, Kedah, Penang, Perak, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Malacca, Johore, Pahang, Terengganu, Kelantan, Sarawak and Sabah have agreed to the concept of forming Malaysia Each state involved has surrendered part of its power such as financial, defense, education, foreign affairs and others, as stated in the Malaysian Constitution, which is administered by the Central Government. There are matters that are under the power of the state and each state administers the power over those matters. As a country with a Constitutional Monarchy, it is therefore allocated by the Constitution the institutions of His Majesty The King as the Paramount Ruler, the hereditary rulers of the nine states and the Council of Malay Rulers. His Majesty The King has the power to safeguard the customs and traditions of the Malay people and the administration of the Islamic religion in each state. His Majesty The King is the Head of the Islamic religion for the states of Penang, Sabah, Sarawak and the Federal Territories. His Majesty The King is the Highest Commander of the Armed Forces. His Majesty The King carries out his duties under the Constitution under the advice of the Prime Minister and the Cabinet. Meanwhile, the hereditary rulers are Head of State of his own state and carry out their duties under the advice of their Menteri Besar.

We don't appreciate how Paulie Hansen insult and being racist toward Asian and us Muslims, so it is not something appropriate to be laugh at, so I hope you guys better be careful at laughing at something so that we all can respect one another
Hmm, I think you misunderstood the joke. It's an insult to Australian society (deservedly, Hanson is still in the Senate), and specifically towards white nationalists here. It's a parody of their ridiculous policies and serves to undermine their ideals here in Australia. People are laughing at Australians, not Asians or Muslims.
@@barnowl5774 thank you for considerate Australian who actually hating on Pauline! She deserved to get kicked all the way to Mars instead. People regardless of race and religion should all be friend! Thanks for the explanation

Seriously, the more "in bad taste" something is, the funnier we Aussies think it is!

Which probably evolved from needing to survive the harsh conditions of living in rural and remote Australia. The outback if you will.
@@vincentlevarrick6557 Not so much the outback but moreso the convict settlements, the harsh environment, hardship and war.

Funny as hell. As an Aussie I approve of this 100%.
Enjoyed it too. I hadn't seen this one before. The writers and actors push it to the limit which is appreciated.
