So I've seen this one floating around a figured why not start a musical category haha. I personally think Nightwish's version of this is brilliant and I'm one of the biggest Iron Maiden fans you'll meet so why not give it a shot in blending them. Thank you guys so much for everything. Opera and classical is just Metal before the invention of electricity.
It sounds metal because it uses the phrygian mode, which is most used in metal songs.
Kinda picture the phantom in a speedboat now rather than a rowboat......

I love how when the male and female voice were to combine into one, you actually too the lower notes and high notes and combined them. Most people dont pay attention to deatil like that while you made it actually like the song, switching between male and female.

Juan Diego CT Phantom of the Opera is originally a broadway musical, then a movie was made out of the broadway play. It is among the most famous broadway musicals of all time, so there are MANY unofficial remixes and renditions and such of it, like Nightwish doing its own version of the classic.

Jessica Vienna I never stated we couldn't have a copy. I only stated the fact that we had a metal version already. Don't get me wrong, he does a really good cover (of EVERYthing), but I personally prefer the Nightwish version overall.

Но вот именно это, призрака оперы... кавер в исполнении Найтвиш мне поболее нравится, хотя там и с вокалом, но если взять только музыку то все равно.
В нее надо вслушаться. ) Как по мне, сожалению, после Тарьи, ни Аннет Ользен, ни Флор не смогли дотянуться до поднятой Тарьей планки. Хотя на Флор есть надежды, подождем студийных записей.

По себе могу сказать что тож сначала не нравился, но потом как - то через какие - то более "простые" песенки вслушался, теперь не могу оторваться, конерт "end of an era" заслушан до дыр. А вообще, конечно, на вкус и цвет фломастеры разные.
