Its like the silt on the Severn, like trying to stand up on marbles on a block of ice with warm shoes, late last year I broke a couple of ribs slipping on it down in Arley, I felt like a right fool too cos there were 80 year old guys running up n down their swims like they had ice cleats on.
Nice to see ya agian steve. Its always a craft lure fishing. I've been doing small river chubb fishing this year, and it's been such hard work, but I have had a few of good size, so im happy 😂 . Your right about the litter it is an issue. i am forever taking home other ppls litter when i fish the more popular locations around me.
@BlackCountryPiker yes was great to catch chubb for the first tike and not only that managed to get couple over 3 lb too so we'll pleased this session.
Honestly Steve, it’s embarrassing! Talking with most members when I’m out as a bailiff, they often mention that they then feel obligated to removing it as they feel they would be blamed. Chances are it’s the bond members leaving it
I tried some fishing down by tewksbury on the baa virtualy unfishable no swims cut out walked three meadows and only able to fish 4 or 5 places and that was on high banks
Same on the baa just outside Bewdley. The banks are steep to get down, but once you do, you can’t cast a lure due to all the overgrown trees and bushes.the platforms were dreadful too, dangerous to stand on.
Talking of work out, I had a session down at Stratford recently and did 20.000 steps in a day, that’s 10 miles. Only had 4 small perch, but had a great day with the kids.
Great to see you back on the bank catching Pike Mate 👍
Thank you very much Matt 👍
