This was great Will, paints a good picture of what these days are actually like showing all the sparks etc!
Thanks as always bud.
I’d say that was a throughly great day out 👍
Thanks for this video Will, I was sick on this day, so I missed this shuttles. This Vlog helped me virtually experience the day.
Great video. Love the footage. There is something about watching A62/A66 moving around in the station, moving around other locos etc. Great shots of the Steam Locos
Very cool!
always great videography Will ... thanks
Thanks again Will for sharing nothing like this over here in WA enjoyed this video. Wonderful to see different type of Trains on the old Victorian Railways network
Awesome video, those locomotives really look splendid and some great shots as well
An excellent video, Will. I love the variety of trains covered and the anecdotes in between were very entertaining. Very relatable to anyone who has gone out chasing trains for a day, haha.
3:20 what a fantastic shot. Good video James.
Nice one!
Will, looks like you had a great day out. Always great to see running trains. The newly painted A Class looked awesome, it is amazing how good they look freshly painted, and the V/Line Orange and grey is a great colour scheme.
Cheers, and thank you for sharing, stay safe, Michael
Good video nice to see a k class working!
Great video Will! Filming the shuttles was great fun and it seem like riding them was just as good! You got some beautiful shots of the K's.
Excellent coverage and station locations, Will. Good to see A62 back running in the mk1 V/Line Orange and Grey livery. Almost like travelling back in time to the 1980s. Seeing K190 and K153. good to see those two K's running well. Looking forward to seeing them when I go down to Shepparton in 2-3 weeks during the King's Birthday Long Weekend on a Sunday. Phenomenal camera work.
Hey Will
Looks cold down there but nothing like a good train trip to enjoy a great day out.
Very Nicely Done.
Regards
John
Nic video Will. I chased the train that day. It was also my first time going to Glen Huntly too.
Seems like you had a great day mate, I went out to film the Steamrail shuttles too! Looks like you also have more luck with freight trains than me!
back in the days will used to have lot of friends
Thanks for sharing, Will. The footage of K153 at Glenhuntly is magic.
good vid on channel keep up the good vids
This is absolutely incredible.
Fantastic video, beautifully shot. I miss Melbourne train spotting!
I love you will james❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Looks like it was a good day out with the freight, EMUs and steamers. I've booked myself onto a different SteamRail excursion in June; should be interesting since it's A2 986 dragging the Tait EMU.
As for the steel train with VLs, how often does that run?
Great effort with all your shots. I love the detailed commentary. Excellent. Where do u get time tables for freight trains? Thanks again.
A lot of it is just checking FB groups to see who’s seen what!
FRIEND
Broad use of the term.
Any idea as to where that steel was headed?
Hastings!
Do you know what the schedule of the steel train, if so what is it?
Search V/line Freight Timetables then click Eastern and South Eastern although this timetable may not always be accurate
Great video Will and it looks like you had a great time. Did your girlfriend go with you?, or did she have to work or was she stuck at home. As an ex loco cleaner myself the locos and coaches are in magnificently clean condition although the footpaths and driveways at the start of the video could all do with a surface cleaner pressure washing. Why have a house and garden all nice and clean if the driveway is filthy. I'm still a cleaner and we notice these things.........sorry.
