I'm liking the casual 'down to earth' commentary, its an ambitious way to go about our videos but it works!
Thanks!
People on the West coast of Australia (Victoria) are luckily to have a wonderful heritage scene and a great person covering it. Look forward to any video from you Will and enjoying them over a cup of coffee
That's the East Coast I think.
@@PaulinesPastimes thanks for the correct info

Over 55 years ago my family caught the Spirit of Progress from Melbourne to Sydney overnight, in a sleeper car coming home from our holidays in WA (having caught the Southern Aurora down from Sydney 4 weeks earlier). I recall standing at the platform of what was then called Spencer Street Station (now of course Southern Cross Station - which Ironically is also the name of the town we went to stay in WA - Southern Cross), and asked a man 'excuse me is the Spirit of Protest,' To which he replied "I think you mean Progress & you are lucky I'm not a Victorian'. The things one remembers as a 10-year-old. So pleased the train has not only been restored but is also operating. Have been on several Southern Aurora tours through NSW - will have to see about doing a Spirit of Progress tour soon. Thank you for sharing & bringing back fond memories of my train travels as a then very excited 10-year boy.
Love Seymour. Plenty of good local food, people are easy going and it even has an old steam (d3 loco i think) in a park behind the station.
Will, wow, great trip report, so good you could do the whole journey from start to finish.
Some really great train shots, thank you for sharing,
Cheers, and stay safe, Michael
Glad you enjoyed it!
Well done Will, interesting and fun to watch with just enough information and coverage to get the jist of the day.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for another awesome train trip video. I'm very interested on the proposed video detailing the local area ,mentioned in this video and others you have done. Hope that you get the time and funds to do it one day, I'm sure that it can't be cheap bringing us this content, it's greatly appreciated.
Cheers Lee! It’ll all happen eventually!
I’m catching up to this video now. That DJI Pocket 3 is really a good piece of gear and looks like it’s produced a great result here!
Totally agree! Just need to get some ND filters!
Fantastic video mate and was a great day. Saw it arriving, running around and departing at Spencer Street
Fantastic video mate! It’s always a pleasure to watch you doing these, your enthusiasm is contagious :)
Cheers
Glad you enjoy it!
thank you for your detail video as full time go watching every time
from Brocklesby nsw
Another great video.. and thanks for the help on the phone today about my Hornby controller, Tim.
Glad to help!
It would be great to see more of the Spirit interiors!
Certainly will next time! Much appreciated feedback!
You need to do more trip reports their amazing!
I hope so!
What a great combination. A fabulous train trip on the way to meet the most famous ships in the world - hence The Cunarder. I guess it was the Queen Elizabeth the Cruise Express passengers were going to meet. Queen Elizabeth is my favourite ship. Mr Will great to see you out and about. Still the most enthusiastic, the most charismatic, the most entertaining and the sexiest without out a doubt in the railway world both big and little trains. Love you Mr Will !
These videos are so fun
I hope I can make more of them!
That was obviously fun 😊 I think a look at the interiors would have been nice too.
Great Video Will, It was nice to see you as you fly pass!
Thanks for sharing will awesome video great information on the train for the day.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome video. Thanks 👍

Great vid Will. That looked like a awesome day. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks much Will. So nice to see your coverage from the opposite side of the globe. Cheers from the states!
Thank you very much!
Always a delight to watch you Will. You never disappoint!!
Thanks Gavin!
Brilliant video Will 😀😀😀😀
Thanks 😀
Great video Will, very well covered.
Thank you kindly!
Nice trip review Will. So awesome you got the train to yourself for parts of the trip. An amazing experience that would of been.
Thanks Nicholas!
Amazing video. I wonder why it's called the cunarder because the cunard line is a British shipping company, not much to do with trains. The headboard does have that iconic ship funnel from the cunard line. I know this because im a tranpsort enthusiast, keep up the great work
Awesome video 👍. It’s amazing this tour ran interstate from Albury, NSW to Melbourne, VIC. When was the last time Victoria did an interstate trip before this one? It feels like it’s been a while
I mean 707 ops have been running to Tocumwal and others to Deni! It does happen pretty often
Oh wow I never knew 707 operations did interstate tours to Tocumwal and Deniliquin that often. Thanks 👍
Brilliant video and the locomotives look nice. Also what camera did you use for this video please
Thanks! A Sony FX30 and DJI Osmo Pocket 3!
@@WillJamesRailways thought you were using the DJI Osmo Pocket 3, could see the shadow of the camera on you.... have one myself and it a great camera, just wanted to ask because didn't want to mention it and turns out to be the wrong camera.
coool
Thanks!
Hi Will, what was the N set at 05:35 doing? I thought loco hauled trains to Shepparton were long gone?
Hey Alexander! My name is Will!
No idea I just heard it coming and turned the camera on!
Thanks for watching!
Will
@@WillJamesRailways As you could tell by the time i commented, I had been up all night. I have known your name as Will for a long time, my deepest apologies.
