I looked at the shot where the mata mata turtle striked the minnow in slow motion and it looked like the minnow actually swam away just in time. It didn't get eaten, you can see it on 9:27 on the left side of the turtle.
If you watch the turtle at 0.25 speed you can see the turtle missing the fish. The fish ends up to the left of it. Lucky day for the fish. Maybe not tomorrow
