It’s on of the following: Frogfish: a ambush predator that camouflages with its surroundings. It has a lure on its head that it uses to lure in prey. Stonefish: unlike the frog fish, it has poisonous spines on its dorsal fin that it will spark up if it feels threatened. Do not step on or approach. Scorpionfish: Very very similar to the stonefish but just a different species. Do not step on or approach. I hope the facts help! I love watching your videos and they fill me with joy and knowledge. I love to learn something new every day an I hope that you continue having fun in the tide!
The fish that blended in was called a "saurgasum fish" They grow so big because they blend in with the seewead so no predators eat them, They are also a predator to any fish that can fit in there mouth. I hope this helps :D
I love the positivity and energy that Nick brings to every single video! It is a true highlight of my day when I take a few minutes out of it to watch Nick interact with the fish!
Frogfish are harmless but they are built to blen in to their surroundings they have a thing on top of there head the use as a lure then when a fish swims by they shoot their mouth out at the speed of light and swallow it whole very cool you found one
Would probably have been a whole lot easier to just bring a larger bucket, filling it a lot more, and shaking the seaweed off under the water in the bucket
