I got a son named Matthew and I sometimes call him cashew for fun and have been for years. Great video I like old grave yards. I've been to some that just have rocks for headstones. Old poor and very rural and isolated. Just plain old rocks with no writing. People unknown and long forgotten
You were very respectful of the grave yard. That was a beautiful headstone. The cemetery where my parents are buried there is a lot of headstones that’s very old there’s nothing on them. And two very old above ground that have sunken and broken so bad they had to pour cement around the outside of it. I got a lot of family history from grave yards. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks for the history Cashew, I've been wanting to visit this cemetary for awhile now, I will definitely do my best to get up there next time I'm there
Nice, cemeteries are really underrated as far as tourist attractions. One day, fulfilling my bucket list, I would like to tour the famous cemeteries of New Orleans.
Very nicely and respectfully done Cashew, great timing on the chiming of the church bells. So much history right above everyone's heads that pass through downtown Gatlinburg. You are right in the fact so many of the grave's are in disrepair, you would think as much money as Gatlinburg generates, they would show their founders some love and really keep that cemetery and it's residents looking their best.
Very interesting, I agree with you it is sad to see grave stones falling apart, after all these were people who made a mark in one way or another on gods earth.

Thanks Scott! That’s a great point. I was surprised a cemetery with such notables as Wiley Oakley would be in this condition.
Love the cemetery vlogs. The history of this one was especially interesting.
Thanks KY Lady! I’m glad you enjoyed them.
That's pretty crazy how all those huge families all rest in the same area. Love the video. Keep it up Cashew and stay safe during this Coronavirus.

The Reagan family is related to John H. Reagan, a Confederate politician from Gatlinburg TN who was part of Jefferson Davis’ cabinet.
Thanks for the info.
