"I don't know what I did to trick you into thinking I was worthy of you, but I'm glad it worked." My Tav will dedicate the rest of their life to make sure that Shadowheart knows that she's worthy of being loved.
I think it depends on stuff you do or say, i’m not really sure though since i’ve heard other people say that she chose to save her parents but in my play through she also chose to kill them.
Thats because its Selunites demand. If you play as selune cleric you tell her to sacrifice her parents too. But dont be an ass and let her keep them. There are no pain that a family cant endure. She says shes alone, shes not. She has us and her family beside her.
So, what happens if they aren't sacrificed and Shadowheart's curse stays exactly? Is it just that mark on her hand that'll keep flaring up with pain for now on?
@@PerfectParadox Shame that. But I imagine that it’s a pain Shadowheart has to live with from then on. Constantly reminded of her betrayal. In my ending, she let her parents go. And I felt her weeping was far more natural. Crying for the lost years and discovery.
In her pre-credit ending with her parents alive ( I have it on my channel ) she mentions that Shar tormented her in her sleep while she was next to you. Shar will keep inflicting pain on her for as long as her parents live. But it's manageable. It's a hopeful ending, where she plans to live together with them somewhere quiet, and my headcanon is that they find a way to deal with the pain, or that Tav uses Warding Bond to share some of it.
While her being with her parents is sweet & can be interpreted as her good ending, the fact that she still has the curse still bothers me. Like while it does give her pain I think Shar could also use it to one day to track her & have her followers constantly hunt them. Edit: Which wouldn’t align with her desire and her parents desire for a peaceful life.
Is Shadowheart ending different (I mean the final cutscene) if you let her parents live? Also did you discover who is the character that you can marry?
I just finished the game with her in my party and she literally had only one line of dialogue the whole time. Her story ends here. I was kinds disappointed by that tbh my other party members had so much contribution. I haven't heard anything about marriage
@@PerfectParadox It looks like a bug? In my ending (I didn't save her parents, but I think you always have an exclusive cutscene with you LI) she have an exclusive scene with my character AFTER the scene with your party. "Also did you discover who is the character that you can marry?" It's Gale. He gives up the ''of Waterdeep'' title and invites you to join his family as his wife. I have Shadowheart's parents alive/romanced ending uploaded on my channel if you want to see it.
there is a persuasion dialogue option to tell her to free her parents and keep the curse. Doing so will save their life but Shadowheart will keep the curse on herself. It has a high roll count so you need a character with decent persuasion bonus.
@@PerfectParadox I see. Thx guys. But spoil me a little, does the curse have any huge repercussions beside the pain? Although I agreed with Shadowheart choice, if there's no huge consequences, I would rather chose the parents
@@PerfectParadox I actually did not have a persuasion option, I just chose option 3: Let her decide. And she decided to save her parents. Honestly have no idea if it will come to bite me in the ass, but for now it's definitely the happier option for her.
I don't know, this ending for her feels kinda strange to me. Yes,she saved her parents but Shar won in the end. None of them are truly free. I think even the music is a lot more tense in this scene, got to double check that. I love this game
Hey, at least Shadowheart or Jenevelle will be with her parents after the Nether Brain’s destruction. Although that would mean that she would spend more time with her family and less time with Tav.
You can't convince me this isn't the good ending for her. Sure, Shar will inflict pain on her, but what is pain in the face of having a loving family?
you can use noblestalk to heal that.

I guess you need to talk her into saving her parents. in my playtrough I told her it was her decision and she chose to free herself from the curse.

It isn't armor. It's camp clothes based on the deva you summon from planar ally
