If you haven't already told Savannah (sp?) Dimash has done a vampire thing, then don't. Just tell her there's a short vampire film/video you've seen which you think she'd enjoy -- and you want to do it as a reaction. I haven't seen you in ages, and I'd love to see her again too.

@@ToniaElkins 👍I watched a whole bunch of your reactions with Savannah back when I first encountered Dimash, and have then watched reactions that are just you since then. I think I've been sub'd with notifications for most if not all of that time. But I've now switched notifications to ALL, so I'll hopefully be catching more of any stuff you do for a while, with or without Savannah, and am sure I will enjoy your sweet nature and whatever comes. Dimash is a genius!
A great storyteller and paradigm breaker!
Anyone who watched the video, made by a fan with his cell phone, of Dimash's show in Hong Kong, had the pleasure of a first contact with the song “When I've Got You” and realized, in Dimash's own music and in the lyrics by Candice Kelly and Dmytro Gordon, a romantic, seductive and passionate song sung with Dimash's own virtuosity. There was tension and anxiety in being able to watch the studio version with better sound quality...
Now, with the release of this music video, we realize how creative Dimash is:
A suspense video with a “noir” atmosphere, but without being located in the past, and a tale of passion about a supernatural creature who feels alone and needs to fulfill his passion for a mortal woman who suffers for wanting and not wanting turn her into one of his supernatural creatures.
Iskander Yerbolat's plot intrigues us to solve the mystery of the entire tale being a dream of a journalist who interviews “DQ”, or being a reality where the “vampire” didn't bite his “prey” out of love! Intriguing...
The video is a show in itself: Desaturated with vivid red details (umbrella, blood in the hands, blood in the pool, advertising sign, neon on the mirror...), a classic Rolls Royce, a gloomy and modern mansion and lots of details. A story that pays homage to several classic dramas involving supernatural creatures and passion! The impeccable edition with precise cuts that complete the script, simple and extremely efficient effects and masterful performances: Dimash (the seductive and tormented vampire, Polina Guzieva (the passionate journalist), Manuel de Jesús Sánchez Sotolongo (the sinister butler) and the harem of soulless vampires (Angelin Sapozhnikova, Valeriya Lyasheva, Andreana Tkachenko, Maria Aristatarkhova, Lilia Kiser and Klinnyushina Alina), superb!
The song is a show in itself: a mix of Blue, Scat, Jazz, R&B, Rock... Captivating variations: a bridge to the chorus full of strength and seduction and a beautiful chorus inspired by classic rock and the dexterity and agility of Dimash! In addition to the well-placed guitar solo performed by Abik Jeksen!
The video captures and captivates from the beginning to the sign that we let pass by, still mesmerized by the “spell” of the vampire who manages to break the fourth wall!
A giant, masterful, modern work that makes you want to watch it several times!
    1000 out of 10!
    Hugs from a Brazilian!

Maybe a little of all elements, but in Dimash style. Seductive , grown up Dimash. Dimash does what he does. The vocals, choreography, solo guitar, acting, all in one package. All of us dears are so jealous right now, lol. Especially this 76 year old dear. Thank you for your reaction. It looks like some kind of portal doorway

Before too many rumours circulate about Dimash singing the opening song in the video, these are the facts: the song Lakme by Leo Delibes premiered in Paris in 1883. The recording in this video was recorded in approx. 1915 with the Soprano part sung by Maria Alexandrovna Mikhailova (1864 - 1943) and the mezzo Soprano part sung by Antonina Ivanovna Panina (1870 - 1941). Dimash is spectacular but I don't think he's a time traveller. :) [Thank you to Bangkok Vocal Coach for researching this and finding the exact recording as I love learning the history behind things.]

@@Jaline_on_UA-cam I still say that unless Dimash says it wasn't him covering the song, I still believe it is possible. The Diva Dance wasn't SUPPOSED to be able to be sung by a human until Dimash did! Anything that has been recorded can be COVERED by anybody that CAN! And I still say that Dimash always gives credit where credit is due and since none was given for that music it is still POSSIBLE that it wasn't given because it was a COVER of the recording.! A duck call brings ducks to be hunted BECAUSE ducks THINK the call is from a DUCK, SAME POSSIBILITY! SO if you find any recording of Dimash saying it wasn't him covering the recording let me know and then I will stop thinking it is POSSIBLE! 😊😊👱‍♀👱‍♀👗👗👠👠❤❤

Of course, your personal feelings are the most important. Not everything can be understood with a translator. Did you say there is too much of everything in this song, or are there too many different things in Dimash's work? Dimash actually performs crossover songs, that's the style and that's how it has to be. However, what Dimash will mix with it is a mystery, it will be decided by his musical inspiration. If he changed certain aspects, it would be a completely different composition, with different lyrics and a different music video. Dimash also sings regular songs. And he created a style that we call popopera. These are such interesting facts. Thank you for your reaction.

Michael Jackson ofcourse comes to mind first, Edward Scissorhand, Twilight and Johnny Depp as well everytime the guitar part comes. What do God and angels have to do with songs? If you don't like the song, don't listen to it, but you watch the reactions, so you listen to the song. You deny yourself. It concerns the claim that the song is below his standards. You definitely have no idea about music, so you don't see how complicated this song is, how difficult it is, what technical skills are needed to perform it. You are guided only by your own taste, and unfortunately this limits your development because it does not require working on your own mind and understanding important issues. You always need to have broader horizons, you are entitled to your own taste, but to say that it is beneath Dimash's dignity definitely shows how little you know about musical aspects. And do not pray for songs and works, because this is not appropriate. Why should Dimash sing only for you. Let him sing a little to me too, and I like songs like that. And let him sing a little to young people and to people with great taste and knowledge of well-performed music
