A new music video for the song "WHEN I'VE GOT YOU" by Dimash Qudaibergen. Surrounded by a veil of mystery, attracted by the unexpected image of the main character and mysterious plot - the story will not leave the viewer indifferent.
The premiere took place on February 26 at Dimash's press conference in Istanbul, dedicated to his solo concert on May 24, 2024.

Thank you! It was fun watching you watch the video :) The lyrics tells that he is enslaved and wants freedom. That he 'has chains all around me' and that she is his gateway to heaven - to freedom from where he is. He isn't evil, but he needs her love and to love her to bring him free from the dark world where he lives. 'Not gonna lie, I come to life when I've got you'. and that she frees him from loneliness, and when he comes home to her 'sweet love' everything is good. The music video story is that the young girl is an unknown reporter who 'DQ' (Dimash Qudaibergen) has granted an interview. He is secretive about his private life and she is nervous about doing it and overwhelmed that he granted her an interview when he hasn't granted one to more known reporters. On the way there she imagines/dreams that his unknown private life is that of a vampire, and that he is in love with her and that she is his salvation and that is the mv. Then she wakes and she raises the newspaper that says that an unknown reporter will interview him and unlock the mystery of his private life. :D Very fun ! The song/lyrics could actually be used to tell the story of any form of confinement or slavery that is saved by love. But Dimash chose to give us this very cool vampire video with this new song that has R&B/soul/blues/rock elements that we have not heard from him before. His vocals are stellar of course! :)

Also für mich klingt das überhaupt nicht nach einem Psychopathen, sondern nach einem "Wesen" ,das sich nach Frieden,Geborgenheit und Liebe sehnt und es in diesem einen Menschen sucht ,der ihm wie ein Engel/Erlösung erscheint. Er ist ein Wesen der Nacht und sehnt sich nach dem Licht .
Ich sehe hinter der ganzen Dramatik ,eine offene und nachvollziehbare Botschaft .
Erinnert mich ein wenig an das Phantom der Oper .
Beide verlorene Seelen ,auf der Suche nach Liebe und Frieden .

Galym Assylov and Zhanibek Gusmanov - the second director of the project and line producer say that the shooting process was very interesting, it took place in Almaty. A creative team of more than 70 people worked on the clip with the involvement of specialists from China. It was there that the costume of the main character was sewn and together with Kazakhstan specialists created the whole image of the artist.
The casting was not simple enough: many actresses and models were tried for the role of the main character and other characters. Three locations were used in the clip, and the search for ancient culture was not an easy task. In a creative atmosphere, a large international team tried to create a mysterious story in every element of the interior, in every detail of the costume, in every frame.
The composition itself was written by Dimash. The author of the lyrics was Candice Kelly. The co-writer of the lyrics, co-producer, orchestrator and arranger was Dmytro Gordon.
“Working with Dimash is a dream for many, and I felt extremely honored and privileged that he has entrusted me to work on this song with him. It felt like a great responsibility, as “When I’ve Got You” was a step into a new direction for Dimash as an artist, and it was also something different for his core audience. Dimash told me that for some time, he wanted a track on the verge of blues, jazz, rock, and r&b, and my suggestion was to make it sound fresh and edgy - something raw but beautiful, something truly unexpected. That has resulted in a blend of some heavy drums, electric guitars and piano together with the orchestra, synthesizers, harmonica, and even a choir. Denk an 80ger Jahre, Michael Jackson und Interview mit einem Vampir. Mit ein paar Gospel und anderen Elementen. Ziemlich cool. Die letzte Szene zeigt SIE, wie sie aus einem Traum? aufwacht und in der Zeitung liest, wie ein Interview mit DQ gemacht wurde. Vielleicht von ihr? Dimash ist offensichtlich auch noch ein recht guter Schauspieler.
