I believe that there is a singular, all encompassing root cause of all of humanity's problems. The root cause of humanity’s problems stem from incorrect, or incomplete answers to two basic, foundational questions: What does it actually mean to be human, and what is the purpose of your individual life?
I'm going to answer the last question first as it is the root they will lead us into what it means to be human.
What is the PURPOSE of your individual life? (Not "Why is there life", but "What makes your life your a successful life?")
Look at all other living things: bacteria, virus, fish, rat, bird, elephant, etc. Now ask yourself what scientists might say is a successful life for any other living thing, like a fish? It's had a successful life when it reaches sexual maturity, reproduces and passes in its genetic material. To pass it’s genes on. That's not the refined purpose though. The over compassing goal is to put their mutated offspring up against natural selection so the strongest genes survive, and the goal of all of that is TO FURTHER THE SPECIES!
The refined overall purpose of your life, as with it is for every other individual living being, is to further the species. In this aspect we are no different from any other living thing. Of course, society has conditioned us to care about things that are irrational and do not matter at all, which has led us to the brink of becoming the first and only speices on earth to activley take part in its own extinction! We are not a special species, at least when it comes to what we should value and do with our lives.
However, the way we go about evolving as a species makes us unique. This leads me to the second question: What does it mean to be human?
What has led to our species evolving to where we can leave our atmosphere, create a machine from earth's raw materials to other planets, and manipulate the fundamental building block of the universe? It all begins with the uniquely human way in which we have come to evolve: Through our collective knowledge. As a species we have exponentially accelerated our evolution by prying it from the hands of chance and natural selection, giving us some say in our own evolution. The way humans accomplish this is THROUGH COOPERATION.
What makes humans unique and special from all other living things is that, through our cohesion and cooperation, we have become the only life form that we know of that has some say in our own evolution! The strength and survival of our species is not bound to the rules of natural selection: Polio comes along and, instead of the nonresistant genes dying off, we came up with a cure.....actually it was one individual who created and then, through humanity’s cooperation, shared the cure. We leapfrogged natural selection.
So, to recap:
1) Your purpose in life is to further the species.
2) To be human is to deny and strive to "kill off the animal"istic instincts that tell you it's survival of the fittest, or kill or be killed, and see that OUR COHESION HAS LED US TO A WHERE OUR GENES AREN'T EVEN PITTED AGAINST EACH OTHER!
-wolves in a pac will die for each other, but wether they know it or not, their genes are still pitted against each other.
-someone is born without the ability to walk, and instead of them dying because they can’t cut it in the wild, we use our collective knowledge and technology to make sure they enjoy a long, productive life.
3) There is power when humanity realizes, along with their life's purpose, that we are the only living thing that we know of that has some say in its own evolution, and that one individual can, without having a single offspring, have a positive affect on the entire species the is exponentially greater than any other life form......to the point where we as a species can bypass natural selection. The potential power that one individual human life possesses is almost godlike.
4. Not only do we evolve through our collective knowledge, but also through the structure of our society, which determines how we use this collective knowledge. Do we use E=mc^2 to make the world a better place, or to kill each other?
Understanding that we evolve in these two ways, and coming to realize that we have a say in both, we can step back and ask ourselves what's beneficial to our species and what's not..... We could probably do away with countries, have a common currency, CREATING a common language (much like India where they speak their own regional language, but they also have a unifying language, Hindi) that would allow a more free exchange of ideas, etc. I don't have all, or any of the answers, but I do know that we do need to rethink the whole structure of our society for our species to survive. Constantly rid yourself of ALL preconceived notions, don't get boxed in by the commonly known philosophies of the structures of our societies, and cohesively come up with a utopian society.
The only threats to our species should be: things from outer space, diseases, and enough resources for us to survive. Imagine if we spent all of our time, money, and brightest minds on fighting these actual threats to our species, instead of creating threats and finding new ways to kill each other.
We have to “kill the animal” instincts and way of living, and take the next step in our evolution and become fully “human”.
The only constant is change, so don't buy into the "this is the way it's always been" and let that lead into "this is the way it will always be". We are supposed to evolve into something better. Kill off the animal.
If a politician’s number one policy, whether they’re on the left or right, isn’t to end our murderous colonial empire, then anything they offer you domestically is nothing more than a bribe in exchange for your complacency with and hence complicity in their war crimes.
The trade you make, from the perspective of the people who’s family or themselves are slaughtered by our neoliberals, is: You signing off on their deaths in exchange for gay marriage, contraceptive rights or a republican healthcare plan that mainly benefits the insurance companies.....scraps. Scraps in the sense that they are a fraction of the basic human rights we should just have! Scraps that they never actually come through on in a substantive way. I get the sense that they purposely leave these small portions of basic human rights open to attack by Republicans so we are in constant danger of them being taken away.
The establishment democrats hold this threat over our heads so they can manipulate liberals through fear, which allows them to remain in power and get away with selling 95% of their votes, selling our government, to multinational corporations, large banks, big pharma, oil companies and the military industrial complex. No one bothers to blink an eye as they carry out the same murderous expansion of empire because the establishment has mastered the art of divide and conquer. It is a first world privilege to so passively accept war criminals as leaders.
It is a false choice that we have to choose between the lesser of two evils, and it breaks my heart that we feel like we have the luxury of accepting our war crimes because it’s not us or our families being slaughtered. There’s no reason that we can’t have ALL of our basic human rights, and not kill innocent men,women and children. So, next time the establishment offers us half measures and scraps when it comes to the bare minimum of our basic human rights, (The New Deal, Obamacare, even the Civil Rights Act), to keep us docile as they continue to rob us and kill in our name, reject their offer and go take it ALL! EVERYTHING! Wrestle every aspect of power from our rulers and oligarchs who have used their power solely to gain more power through murder, robbery and oppression, and view us citizens of the world as nothing more than a resource to be used up at their will and turned back into dust.
So much senseless violence being carried out in our name on so many innocent souls.... in exchange for scraps. Accepting politicians who will continue our war crimes is never an acceptable option!
Not only does the establishment divide the citizens against each other, (left/right, rich/poor, white/non-white), but they also divide our time and efforts so we cannot gather strength in numbers and focus on the common root to all of our society’s problems. Neoliberals have progressives spread out so thin while attempting to deal with a multitude of our society’s flaws, dictating exactly what issues they focus their time and effort on, and the parameters and direction of the conversation. We have to come to the realization that most issues are simply the bad fruits of a common root cause. As long as we focus on the issues they want us to focus on, and approach the issues in the exact way they want us to, then we are just playing our roll in their script

Imagine if this was done by Russia, the same people who support this and believe it to be a righteous and just, they would take on a totally different tone and use it as proof of how evil Russia is and rightly so. However, since it's Israel whom people count as one of "us good guys", they fully support it.

You think these hypocrits will also support Turkey if they were to decide after the next PKK terror attack to displace all Kurds and bomb all of their villages? No they would not, and it would be wrong to support it, but they would not oppose it because care about those Muslims either. Instead they would simply side with the Kurds, because since the Syria war the West has declared the Kurds as "one of us" and the West never really liked Turkey.
We in the West have also put a blind eye on what Saudi Arabia did in Yemen and in fact have supported them. And now we are so pre-occupied with the Houthi pirates, which the West seems to see as a more important issue than what's going on in Palestine.
Sadly, too many people see the world in black and white, us vs them, good v. evil. And it's so easy for those people to declare those who aren't on "our team" to be evil that deserves to be eradicated. Then it also becomes easy to justify the mass killing of children. It's insane. And those people honestly believe themselves to be the good guys.
I am shocked to see how much people here in the West seem to desire war and seem to give a shit about diplomacy. And we wonder why other nations don't take us seriously when we try to tell them something about morals. We are fucking hypocrits.

That’s why there’s so many who can’t bare to admit that this is a genocide. I saw a video of a pregnant Palestinian woman who was crying and saying that Israeli soldiers detained her, forced her to strip naked, and repeatedly punched her in her stomach despite her telling them that she is 5 months pregnant. It was one of the most heartbreaking things I’ve ever heard and I will never forget her face, her eyes, and her voice. She looked so terrified I wished I could just reach through the screen and comfort her. As a woman, the videos I’ve seen of Palestinian women are the most horrific nightmarish situations I wouldn’t wish on any woman.
EDIT: I’ve since seen IOF ‘soldiers’ raid Palestinian women’s underwear drawers and film themselves sniffing panties and playing with bras and undergarments. We should all be terrified of what these creatures are doing to any Palestinian women they come across. And to the awful Zionists saying that the Palestinian woman was ‘lying’ - there’s numerous other testimonies from different regions of Gaza and the West Bank that are eerily similar. There’s also pictures and videos of IOF stripping Palestinians naked and beating them. The IOF are filming and posting these videos themselves.
This is also one of many very, very similar testimonies by Palestinians. So many who survived this ordeal have said they were stripped naked at gunpoint, threatened with sexual assault, and beaten. Many of the victims being women and children. This is systematic and deliberate. Israhell forces are pure evil.

I used to pray in Al-Omari Mosque when I was a child. It was one of the most beautiful and oldest mosques in Gaza. I am now in Britain and Israel has destroyed all my childhood memories and killed many family members and friends in Gaza. When this happened in 1948, there was no Internet or media to cover . Destiny is going off of Israel's stated intent which is to get rid of hamas, but the problem is nobody is ever going to outright state that they want to destroy an entire race with all of the media watching.

It's crazy how this video is more or less just 40 minutes of non-stop recounts of all of the horrors against Gaza. The fact that there's so much that you can just talk constantly for clearly potential hours without even coming close to capture the full severity and intensity of it is insane.

Small additional detail about those lactating women with malnutrition:
The body tends to prioritize breast milk while lactating when it comes to allocating nutrients. To the point that it literally takes nutrients from itself to add to the milk if food doesn't cover everything needed. It might especially use calcium from the bones, making them more brittle, and the teeth.
These women are not just starving normally, which would be bad enough, but their bodies are destroying themselves to get those babies through the first months under these circumstances.
But also if they dont have the nutrients the milk will dry up as well, especially if they are severely dehydrated as they dont have access to clean drinking water

I think very few people actually can. The issue is that most people simply are not informed. If people heard the details of what Israel has done to specifically annihilate innocent civilians it’d be a different conversation. I have seen more dead children on my instagram feed than anyone needs to see in a lifetime. I cannot even imagine how horrifying it is to live that daily. Seeing parents, grandparents, uncles and aunts hold dead child relatives. Dead babies. Seeing a child hanging from something with her legs cut off. Knowing that its continuing. Knowing there are women who have had to have c sections without anaesthetic, only for their babies to most likely die anyway due to malnutrition or disease.
Children begging the world to do something. Men crying. Brave brave men pulling people dead or alive out of rubble, babies. Cats eating dead bodies who have been left to rot, knowing muslims have fairly strict rules on burying the bodies within a time frame in a certain way.
Knowing that ramadan, their most special and holy month is coming up and muslims all over the world are grieving for Palestine.
I think it breaks me every single day. And every day i have to rebuild to be broken again.

This may be because of misinformation they’re receiving, or, if they’re older, remembering times where there was higher conflict in the area and assuming this is the same. @@playdoh658 ive watched the first 7 minutes but he has forgotten to mention a whole slot of things humanitarian aid israeli soldiers willing to help and yes they have bombed buildings which hamas has infiltrated again not all idf are best so i wont be happy with it but then again he has not mentioned those things and i will say more later after watching but the first 7 minutes he has not said much. The humanitarian aid was given by israeli soldiers which sent down fuel to hospitals and clinics and food plus water for gazans but problem is hamas takes that away which becomes more complicated so they sending down aid becomes a issue even if they set a post there to give food wont be long if hamas destroys that so its useless but doesn't mean they wont give anything to the refugees infact they have but if i were talking about 1.2 million refugees then israel wont have the man power to do so especially having very small land to accomodate such a huge population so they sent them to europe also another to note here he can watch ben shapiro on israel and he would know how israel deals with this things.
