I love this scene which is why I chose to make it into Lego. But my goodness I didn’t realise how many time the camera cut to Rose where her reaction is the same over and over again! It felt very choppy but I wanted to stick to replicating the original, so these sad puppy eyes were a gem to add in just for comedic purposes
Another amazing job. A tiny little wish is that the regeneration effect was a bit more transparent so the change could be more visible, but that's such a minor quibble it's barely worth mentioning.
I know right! I played about with so many iterations of the regeneration studs but with the glow effect it just didn’t look right. They dissipate so fast that I didn’t add any additional detail to them
Yeah on review Rose doesn’t do much in this scene. Solid performance but I got board of the camera cutting to her with the same expression - which is why I added sad puppy eyes and dramatic expressions
one little nitpick is that Tennant's hair in this scene was different to the sticky uppy hair used in this animation, I do know there is a lego hair style that perfectly replicates the style seen in the original scene.
Ah I 100% agree! When I was animating I simply chose that spiky hair without realising until I got to his animation. I rendered the scene up to that point which took 4 days non-stop and just went with it. As a true fan I’m a disgrace lol but each Lego face from 9 and 10 were the same - so to be truthful I preferred the spiky as it was a very clear indication which Doctor it was
@@JackDeeWizard it has always bothered me throughout Tennant's first time as the doctor where his hair is nice and combed but then later on they decided to mess it up and show how much of a madman he is.
That smile at the end.
*Chefs kiss*
1:06. Even in Lego form his playfully confused expression and cheeky smile still gets me.
100%
1:05 Rose's face is amazing here
Literally 🥺

I THOUGHT THIS WAS FROM THE DOCTOR WHO LEVEL IN THE LEGO UNIVERSE GAME THING WHAT THIS IS INCREDIBLE
Thank you so much for your kind words
This is absolutely FANTASTIC! Really unbelievably good animation :)
Thank you!

As I say, it's such a small thing it's barely an issue at all. The whole thing works wonderfully.
Any comment or opinion is valued! Thank you for your kind words
Oh wow you did a really good job on this, especially with the faces and the TARDIS set!! Well done! 👍
Thank you! This is the biggest animation to date I’ve done, mainly the environment taking the hit on my computer. Slowly but surely getting better
This Channel Is Unbelievably Underrated
Thank you! Really appreciate the support 🙏🏻
1:37 gonna leave this here lol

Another banging Lego DW animation 🎉 keep it up mate love it
Thanks a ton!
Pretty sure I just rendered some of your frames on SheepIt. It instantly stuck out to me, awesome work dude!
Fantastic, absolutely fantastic
This is impeccable work! ♥
This was my favorite regeneration scene ever. 👍 and being out of Lego is amazing. 😏 Actually it made it better.
Awesome! Keep up the work ! Love Doctor who

Believe me when I uploaded this my first thought was “someone will point out the spiky hair” lol

What makes Rose’s eyebrow go funny at 0:05 ??
With the MecaFace add on in Blender it allows you to have eyelashes and eyebrows - but here the animation moved by mistake 😅
@@JackDeeWizard ohhhhh makes sense lol
YOU NEED TO DO THE 10TH DOCTOR'S REGENERATION NEXT
Now THAT would be a tough project! But never say never
1:37 is that a fucking uwu face XD
Maybe... 🤣
Please do the end of time regeneration
It’s on the list don’t worry 😎
This is fantastic, do you plan on doing the Regeneration from stolen earth?
Ooooo that's a good idea! I plan to raise the bar per animation. This was a BIG effort as it was the first time I've used a particle system with Lego
@@JackDeeWizard oh thank you
