I think the Vacheron Constantin Overseas is the most beautiful blue dial and one of the most beautiful sport watches. Nice to learn that the AP Royal Oak is a fragile watch.

All beautiful watches. Can't go wrong w any of them. But for the value I think VC crushes everyone. Even value aside I think it's the best looking. I do appreciate the complications of the sky dweller but VC on another level.
My blue dialed rolex datejust ref. 116200 ticks all the boxes at a reasonable price. the best is the BLACK dial VC 4500V.... why? for one it's far more rare due to all the hype on the blue and the black exhumes class.. and we all know what hype turns into anyway? As for VC vs PP And AP... well, VC, established in 1755 and still bearing the Geneva Seal and with a HAND finished movement, unlike the AP... is the top of the Holy Trinity. btw, VC only makes about 25000 total watches off all lines per years, less than half of PP.

a few years ago a local dealer had the VC blue dial used at 16k euros.. I actually tried it on, but turned it down, for one basic reason.. there was way way too much reflection on the dial. I simply couldn't appreciate the dial. personally I like the way VC does black dials more.. the VC overseas dual time in black is incredible.

Interesting take why would AP be not a daily watch and scratch and tear easily is it bad quality? I am looking for a daily wear watch. If I were to buy AP would assume it would be of good quality

VC not only buries the competition in terms of appearance, effects and beauty of the blue of the dial, but also in terms of manufacturing. The specificities are superior (tightness, versatility) compared to the rest of the Trinity. And like it has been said it's a big house with a huge history.

Totally agree. They think of the person wearing the watch. 2 straps and 1 bracelet comes with an Overseas and oh man that genius micro adjustment on each side of the bracelet.
Rolex DJ41 is one of heck of a blue dial. BTW, the blue dial of AP 15500 is underwhelming.
Overall I will put sky dweller in my first list and overall it is a cheaper among all coz the movement is more complicated and easy to setting,the blue dial is for me is absolutely beautiful

The best blue dial is actually the SLGA007 from Grand Seiko.
The camera used does not show the true colors and beauty of those pieces.

Yes, but Blancpain stopped at a period and then started again, VC never stopped.
VC was actually founded in 1755 not 1775 like they say in this video. Blancpain was founded in 1735 so yes it is older but it has not been in continuous operation since 1735
