seeing this clip brings back many memories. i was in 4th grade or 3rd grade when this came out. this era was a good time growing up in. the background music gives me chills. :)
I love how @ the beginning of the movie they can't stand each other, & every other time they both start to respect each other and she always notices his appearance but doesn't mind it or press the subject. #StantaClause #ElizabethMitchell #Santa #Christmas
The most romantic scene of all time! Scott and Carol's relationship is the most important aspect in the Santa Clause. Tim and Elizabeth portray their roles beautifully and sensually, thanks to their real-life friendship, making their bond feel very authentic on-screen. Their relationship highlights the complexity and beauty of marital and familiar bond: Love, loyalty, support and respect. Scott going to Carol's house unannounced, late at night and asking whether she wants to get some "noodles" or "pie"? That's seduction 101! Smart move from Scott to make it so that it was Carol's idea to go on the date with him. I love that she didn't even question where the sleigh came from, she just went right on in! Any person would think that this might be kidnapping or something. Carol is one of those secret bad girls who likes little bit of danger. I love the irony that even this film was targeted to the children/young audience, there was a lot of sexual innuendo going on. I don't know if it was the writers intent or whether Tim Allen and Elizabeth Mitchell's chemistry just made their scenes more erotic than intended on the script. Otherwise, it's fabulous! Despite their undeniable chemistry, Carol desperately didn't want to get into relationship with Scott but it was out of her control. There's this incredible connection happening with Scott and Carol and yet both of them are afraid of it because their fear of intimacy and human connection. They've shared so much and grown together in ways that neither thought were possible in such a short time. They're drawn to, and afraid of, the feelings they have for each other. And obviously the circumstances when this thing is happening aren't perfect. She's his son's principal so their romance is morally questionable. Either way, they can't help but feel so passionately about each other. While Carol's choice to sacrifice her career and previous life to marry Scott is something that society might look down on, it is important to recognize the fact that this was Carol's choice. She wanted to marry Scott while knowing what she would be giving up on. When we actually look into Carol's previous life, while she had successful career in education there was still an empty hollow in her life. She felt hopeless and alone. Due to her parents tumultuous marriage, her family life was unstable and unsafe. Scott coming into Carol's life is what literally saved her. In the Santa Clauses season 1, Carol admits that giving up her career to be with Scott has turned out to be just fine for her and she has no regrets. Carol is atypical woman who makes atypical choices which she herself is totally content with. That's real GIRL POWER!
me and Adam Celona will be getting married someday in 2 years then Adam Celona will live with me at my house then we can sleep together on the bed in my room have sex with our clothes off and I have one baby girl name Ashley Olsen and take care of her change her diaper give her a bath crib toys binki baby bottle baby food baby pack baby shoes blanket books love seat for me and Adam Celona to sit on.
This would be like the PERFECT date for me lol not go anywhere specific just ride around in a horse drawn sleigh for a few hours and just talking while having hot cocoa :)
the entire premise of this movie: "Santa needs a wife in order to be a "legitimate" Santa Claus" SO...he basically killed the old Santa Claus, causing his wife (whom you know he had, since he was the former "legitimate" Santa) to be a widow, and kicks her out the North Pole cause she was nowhere to be seen in Part 1 and 2.
Unless there are a long string of Santa's who never got married before they were replaced. It was a big surprise to the elves at the beginning of the film too, so it wasn't like Mrs. Claus was something they were aware of being a requirement.
There's an 8 year grace period for finding a wife, as we see with Scott. It must have been during that grace for the last Santa. Maybe he wasn't married yet
What I dont understand is when he uses his magic to create the sleigh his watch goes down one (10 to 9) but when he creates the secret santa gifts it goes 3 (9 to 3)
@@boomdos4265 it was an accident! Scott only called up to talk to him. The last Santa slipped and fell off the roof. No murder, no purposeful wrongdoing. It was an accident!
I asked Mama how Santa could get into our house cause we had no fireplace. Mama told me he entered by our front door! So I put the milk and cookies out by the front door. Well, when I woke up, I went straight to the door instead of to all the toys, and the milk and cookies were gone. If they could fool me (the oldest) the rest were a piece of cake! I believed in Santa so hard till after I KNEW there was none I'd sometimes watch the moon on Christmas Eve to see if his sleigh would fly past. The falsehood almost made me miss out on JESUS! I thought He might be a fairytale too! But JESUS is ALIVE and WELL! PAPA GOD SAVED me on CHRISTMAS EVE in 1972! GLORY! I woke up CHRISTMAS MORNING, BORN AGAIN! HALLELUJAH!!! 🎄🎁🙏🏼🙌🏼❤️
I really do think this is the most magical scene in any Christmas film honestly the music, the storytelling…. beautiful

No but she is now on Once upon a Time as Elsa's evil aunt Ingrid, the first Snow Queen!
Oh, awesome, I'll have to watch that one! Thank-you for letting me know!

He was Santa before he was buzz the Santa clause came out in 1994 and toy story came out in 1995.

Santa Clause 2 is a Christmas Rom-Com. And here's your proof.
Someone tell me why Elizabeth Mitchell is so perfect?!
the entire premise of this movie: "Santa needs a wife in order to be a "legitimate" Santa Claus" SO...he basically killed the old Santa Claus, causing his wife (whom you know he had, since he was the former "legitimate" Santa) to be a widow, and kicks her out the North Pole cause she was nowhere to be seen in Part 1 and 2.
Never thought about that.
Its rather bleak and dark to think about.
@@mary-janerobb6612 HAHAHA...for real! I was watching it recently and it popped up in my head like "oh, god..."

@@chrismalone2136 yeah, except they've always been aware of the other "clause" in the Christmas handbook.

this is what Juliet was up to in the after life

AHAHA IM WATCHING LOST RIGHT NOW
Elizabeth Mitchell is the perfection ok no, lmao.
Liz Mitchell is my life omg
That's Juliet from Lost
I love Tim Allen.
I love this part is so cute:) also love the movie
This is heart warming. I need this shit in my Life.
It's actually nice to see Ingrid the Snow Queen and Buzz Lightyear to fall in love with each other during this scene.
What I dont understand is when he uses his magic to create the sleigh his watch goes down one (10 to 9) but when he creates the secret santa gifts it goes 3 (9 to 3)
Bigger things use more magic?
Its the Shed that got me
Half that "Santa gift" magic was used on hiding his stiffy
2:41 so that’s why principal Newman decided to not care about Christmas
Watch out, she's Ingrid!
❤ love this movie
Anyone know what music is playing? At 3:10
The Date George S. Clinton🎅🤶❄🦌

Elizabeth Mitchell As Carol Calvin & Mrs Santa Clause🤶 🎄⛄❄🦌🎶🎁
so lovey
I want this too, so romantic!
Anyone know what the jacket is Tim Allen is wearing?
When I was a little kid I thought he remembered going to her house. Now I realize how creepy that is.
I mean he is Santa clause
“He sees you when your sleeping”
What's creepy was he killed the old Santa. Whom you know had a wife. Yet the former Mrs. Claus is nowhere to be seen...
He wasn’t Santa then
What do you mean
@@boomdos4265 it was an accident! Scott only called up to talk to him. The last Santa slipped and fell off the roof. No murder, no purposeful wrongdoing. It was an accident!
