I forgot to mention in response to the panfish video..I have become a HUGE FAN of the Berkeley Gulp line of products over my recent years in my Salt and freshwater fishing! It's DEFINITELY A GAMECHANGER IMHO. ALL my flounder and trout as of recent have come from mainly the Gulp 3" shrimp white w/ chartreuse tail and the 1" minnow up to the 3" depending on what I'm fishing for...but it has thinned my tackle down tremendously to jigheads of various weights and couple sizes of Gulps!! Glad to see that someone else shares my secrets!
Thanks for demonstrating your stated principle about simplicity being enough to enjoy effective fishing. The fish you caught on this trip did not need fancy electronic equipment, recharged batteries or multiple rods beyond two. You proved your point!

That seems to be proper fishing..of coarse...common sense is not as common as it used to be...or how it was in my bloodlines...but I'm glad to see folks simplifying a simple way of fishing..and based on the situation you were handed...I would think this would be the best option even over the hole the other guys were occupying...so thanks for the GREAT content Justin...and please keepem coming...cause it's helping the healing process of my knee replacement TREMENDOUSLY!! 😀 👍

Oh yeah that’s how I did it on my local flowing river it’s not more like a lake like those Tennessee big river . Real free flowing water lol beautiful to kayak it on a perfect day . Caught a bunch of nice cats too. Wish we had some blues and flatheads here .

So enjoy your informative fishing videos! Use to Catfish alot had all my catfishing gear stolen. Use to fish the Cumberland River at the TVA Plant in Dover Tennessee caught and lost some monsters up their. Hope you fish that area sometime for lots of huge blues and Flatheads in that River! Thank you for all of your videos you share with all of us!
I keep a bag full of frozen crappie for cut bait. I think they like the taste of crappie just like we do. Here in central Indiana most of my nice cats whether they're channels or flatheads come on live or cut green sunfish.

Hey Justin , Come to Arkansas and fish our Lake Conway . The AGFC are draining this big ol lake to rebuild it. This a first for us , they have also tagged certain fish that are now worth $1,000 each . This lake is known for some lunker flatheads as well .

What just in that catfish must’ve had once and warrants out. As fast as he tried to get out of that camera and he probably heard the sirens going by so he was on the run.
I honestly can't even fish without my livescope but I still have the original model. Its my buddy Larry he just dunks his head in real quick and says...yup that's where they at! Yeah I might not have 100k invested in equipment but with all do credit...I don't need it. Hurt many of feeling a time or two hiking out in wet blue jeans and cowboy boots with a limit of walleye as I pass people with every known gadget hanging from them except fish....boys keep telling yourself" even a bad day of fishing is better than working..." stay cool brother

I don't have a motor but I do have a depth finder. Just pedal to where I'm going then drift with the current and tides. There are days I do wish I had a motor though.

I have filmed skipjack videos in the past and they perform terribly. I will include some footage of catching them when I'm out on other trips but it just isn't worthwhile to make skipjack videos.

My longest catfish fight was a 35 inch cat...hooked in the dorsal fin just right so I aimed him back down...so my little tidemaster with 12 pound test I had my hands full...right now my pb catfish is 39" caught in 2 feet of water on bunker
I'm fishin for 40" this year..all my rods n reels are light..I got a 33" on my 7.5 foot ultralight rod..I wish I could do same quality videos as you in the middle of the night
