For a moment there, I thought Oro was going to do an infinite combo on Akuma in the corner... Oro has always been strong... Just not many people use him. You gave him justice. Kudos Justin Wong!
Yeah if akuma had decent health he'd probably be in the same unfavourable matchups as the other 2 shotos but his crap hp makes Oro a good anti-akuma, with oro vs akuma you get to choose which TOD you use.
As a Canadian who is in his late 30s Infinite was the man back in the late 90's even before the 3rd Strike deal. I was thinking when SF6 eventually has their "3rd Strike" DLC wouldn't it be cool as part of that DLC if they have Infinite do some voiceovers again?
I love Oro's other super where he does his Spirit Bomb kind of move, but I could just imagine him saying "SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND!" before sending that huge power right down to the opponent.
One of my favorite fighting games was "One Must Fall 2097" for DOS. You pilot 90 ft tall robots in a tournament cage match setting. What was so great about it was using winnings from tournaments to make improvements on your robot, gradually upgrading various attack speeds, powers, and endurance. Also note the other fighters in the tournaments do the same, so you may face speedy or tanky versions of robots throughout a tournament. Another cool aspect is the anime style transition from your winning pose to a news reporter talking about the match and mentioning how well or bad you did with screenshots of the fight. You can also play the arcade mode, which doesn't have any upgrading between fights, like traditional fighting games. In this mode you choose a pilot, which has stats, and a robot, which has fighting style, and you mix and match to your preference. Cool game, and done very well. I've always wanted to see more fighting games like it.
I actually use that super for oro, if you can hit confirm dhp into 3 button version of the super it does a huge amount of damage. You have to be close and it jumps through close projectiles and grabs them into the flying burning stone
He has awful low pokes and relies a lot on close MP for his damage, otherwise his mid screen damage sucks. Stand HK is a straight noob killer but can be parried when predictable which means he has to be careful with his best poke. Honestly Oro is hard carried by his supers, SA2 air resets might be harder to deal with than Aegis Reflector and of course SA3 is like the best of both Gen Ei Jin plus Sei Ei Enbu.
@@MrCactuar13 eh. Cl MK or cr. MK into the hit throw does good damage and stun. His normals are a bit unreliable but like you said since his supers are powerful even top tiers can't safely press buttons on him once he has meter. SA2 has more reliable unblockable setups and have been optimized to where he needs only a bar and a half for some matchups to ToD.
Again, mk is high parryable and it's not hit confirmable and hitgrab is unsafe on block. His mediocre buttons and designed to work in tandem with his high mobility to chip away at opponents but parries make the risk reward skewed against him unless he is standing right next to the other character.
Oro super n*1 has a monstrous advantage: If you activate with X3 P (all the punches) it becomes a command grab and the first frames are invincible, also oro made a foward strafe so you can use it as a Footsie tool
Im a oro main and the most frustrating thing is when your holding back and then go for his command grab and the projectile comes out behind the characters back 😱😱😱 happens too often. Nice seeing Justin giving Oro some love👏👌
Would you consider a 3rd strike beginner guide or tutorials? I'd love to get into it while we wait for sf6 and I've tried but oof, it can be rough out there
Does anyone know how to block Oro's low hitting *chicken kick* aka *Jinchu Nobori* (that hits right on the last possible moment of him landing on the ground)?
I'd absolutely love a re release of CVS2, where the only thing they change if cleaning up the old as shit Alpha and Darkstalkers sprites. Make Blanka and Sagat look as good as Ken, Chun, and M.Bison.
You guys may be a little slower because age but I felt the reason I was slower at 1st then I was as a kid because I was mashing as a kid now days I slowed it down I did it right and then I picked up the speed
my feelings would be hurt getting stunted on by oro like that. when i worked at seattle gameworks jason the future (not afro cole) would beat us down with oro tengu stones. those other guy likes the boogers a lot. dirty cole was a urien guy
Bro is definitely buffering his parry (Yang). Next time just watch Em with wifs. He’ll look like he’s tea bagging. Not like I need to tell The goat that
Like ... the cement thing ... what the fuck does it do? They're just floating there whilst you hit folks? I accidentally picked it the other day ... and was just staring at the screen going ... huh ... guess I'm just doing normal shit, then. 😅
@@eliotcole I can't link videos as a reply yt autodeletes it but look up "oro tengu stone tutorial" it's a 11 year old video it lasts less than 10 minutes
3 times he had level 2 available, and you were open for the raging demon. I'm sat here shouting "demon, DEMON," and he flubbed it every time! Glad he lost, demon one of the best tools in akumas arsenal
Justin Wong is here openly attributing arbitrary visual elements to fortune. This all but confirms the rumors he donns a 25 yr old pair of unwashed tightee-whitees at tournaments. Luck is made pungent by countless victories.
Oro being able to ex his supers is still one of the most godlike things in 3S. That drop from the heavens and spirit bomb🤌🏾🤌🏾🤌🏾

8:16 - Akuma: "I AM NOT PARRYING THOSE BOOGER ORBS!!!"(teleports away)
13:35 - Oro: "HERE COMES THE GIGA BOOGER ORB!!!"

It's nice to see Justin playing as other characters other than Chun Li in 3rd Strike. With Chun Li, it's almost always like a guaranteed win.
Time to see Oro Wong in action.
Ps: Congralulations for be choosen to participate in the RBK in Pretoria, SouthAfrica.
I like how he's got a super that the entire point is to make him Hulk out with like 10 body slams.
Oro is my first character i used as a kid but i just recently started playing again and dont understand how i used him so well as a kid 😂😂😂
A kid loving Oro is wild, you were cooking back in the day

I don’t feel he is low tier at all….super strong stun and very anti pokey game..he can definitely stop bs at times…

He would be high tier in any other game, except Chun and Yun exist in this one

Filthy low parries should be the name of Justin's autobiography. 🤣
Not the Home Depot music 😂😂😂!!!
"people put oro as low tier" idk who are you talking to lately justin...
"hit em with the construction company bro" lmao
I literally busted out laughing when you hit him with the spirit bomb, gatdayum! 😂🤣
Oro skills looked like they were getting better as the games progressed. GGs
Damn Justin really struggles when he isn't using Crutch Li. I do like the Oro , its great to see you play him.
Warrior in the wind is a movie about the person who invented kyokoshin karate

Faernhites album is AWESOME 👌 👏
You're the Boss, Justin. The Ambassador of everything good about fighting games!

FaRe’N’HiTe’s album is fire for real 🔥🔥🔥 It blew my mind that the man Infinite himself worked on it with him.

The 90s fansub explanation at 8:05
The Home Depot theme, I completely lost it lol
Oro also gets a special win pose from the spirit bomb

low tier vids are like french fries, everyone love them
When the Guile music started playing 🤣
Hahaha, the Guile theme was perfect
Was that the Home Depot ad adlib my guy?! 😭🤣⚰
13:10 This aged great
@JustinWong great set. That spirit bomb at the end was awesome.
Oro: lend me your energy
Yang: Cement das conk creet baybee

HA!! I caught that Home Depot theme. NICE.
Oro is sorta kinda the Gen of Street Fighter III Third Strike.
Playing against a good yang player can be so boring, as soon asvthey touch you they do the same combo over and over
Anyone know what the inputs are for the egg yolk super? Lol
Oh you’re just gonna sit there and like my comment; but not give me the inputs? @jwonggg 😆 That goes for whoever manages your UA-cam too. Lol
Are you playing on fightcade?
You can infinite only using EX SA
EX SA1 with Oro is awesome. SA1 is super fun.
You were talking about Cvs2 and then perform a finest to ko 🔥 🔥 🔥
Still waiting for a Sean video in 3rd strike
ORO GANNNGGG! Great games and Oro in the corner is scary!!!!
Is oro an out of work contractor ?
What you mean no one use's it use that grab super all the time it does the most damage
I used to play him consistently but it seems I’m lots slower now lol age man it’s age
GENKIDAMA!!! YO!
More remmy and oro pleaseeee (before sf 6 anyway)
Hey Justin remember that ORO player on one of your streams that literally whoop your ass all matches lol
Thought chun was ur favorite in this game😢
Helio Gracie is OG.
exactly why he my main
Nice Matches! Oro is a really cool character...he is really execution based...but once you master him he is upper mid tier in my opinion
That’s not how tiers work but I get your point
I'd absolutely love a re release of CVS2, where the only thing they change if cleaning up the old as shit Alpha and Darkstalkers sprites. Make Blanka and Sagat look as good as Ken, Chun, and M.Bison.
Yes, he is.
Oro is my main. He is fun❤❤❤
*gasps* Brian_F?!
1:42 Nah that was DISGUSTING!!!

It hits too, blocks projectiles and hits.
@@cahallo5964 I've not seen it do anything when I punch or kick, and I still get hit by fireballs ... what am I doing wrong there? It just floats ...

Sprit bomb super is the best
3 times he had level 2 available, and you were open for the raging demon. I'm sat here shouting "demon, DEMON," and he flubbed it every time! Glad he lost, demon one of the best tools in akumas arsenal
people put em at low tier cuz they suck at comboing, beat it his juggles are too goood
Oro Low Tier!?
justin add a "Stick" cam to your videos please :)
Greetings legend
oro definitely not a low tier
gg
JUSTIN PLAY EHRGIEZ
Some part of my brain thinks that game was fun, please disabuse

Luck is made pungent by countless victories.
main reason I don't play him.
You're not black
Since you stunned him before the grab super, I wish you would have done the hidden version if the grab super too.
Still, always amazing stuff as ever!
