    Thanks for the tip!!
    I should have known before.
Not only old toy figures/characters suffer from this discoloration.
Also newer toys figures has this problem.
As an example, A made by Hasbro, Disney Stitch has nearly the same color blue but discolors to yellow to green to Brown.
I am a collector and my figures do not come in contact with sunlight.
I think it's because of the use of cheaper plastic types in the production but perhaps this blue pigment is more sensitive to heat, cold, light and discolored much faster.
By the way,,i re painted my Stitch blue again.

Very helpful video inspired me to do this myself but I used a different method. I hung the figure upside down by a piece of string inside a coffee jar with about half an inch of peroxide at the bottom. Peroxide is more expensive since you made this video cost me £2.44 at Asda pharmacy . A smaller pharmacy wanted £3.99

Can I suggest placing a mirror under your pint jar so that the light of the sun is bounced up onto the figure's shoulders? I would think that would help both the amount it removes and the time it takes to remove it.

Might I suggest you put that jam jar in a brown paper bag out of direct light. Hydrogen peroxide is very light sensitive which is why, like beer, it is sold in a dark bottle. Your peroxide will last much longer if stored away from light. Btw, love your videos!

Although, not expensive, if you are going to save hydrogen peroxide, you need to store it in a completely opaque container or in the brown tinted translucent container. Any light will eventually cause the hydrogen peroxide to separate into oxygen and water making the liquid inert for your purposes.

    • @toypolloi

      @baochaochao379 2 роки тому

@@toypolloi That's why it unfortunately doesn't make any sense to de-yellow a Skeletor or other figures. Because normally you would like to display your figures. To store them somewhere protected from oxygen and light kills every fun you can have with collecting figures. Concerning Prince Adam's often yellowed chest you can use white (solvent-based) lacquer instead of peroxide. Because this will last longer against yellowing.

Life on Eternia is hard. It is practically a proto-planet hence all the barbarian cultures there.
Muscular physique is more of a matter of survival there rather than a lifestyle choice.
Why, if it wasn't for the Overlord of the Eternal Dimension, they would have no technology there at all!
But then, there would be nothing to stop this murderous demon and all of the primordial world's beasts from using their ceaseless ruthlessness to gain power. Even over the whole Universe, hence the name Masters of the Universe.
You see, magic is strong there, and when coupled with evil such as Skeletor's, time and space are vulnerable to finding no mercy.
The same thing happened on our Planet millennia ago when magic on Earth was strong, but The Overlords prevented the Universe from collapsing.
That is why Dinosaurs, Titans and Mammoths are all but a distand memory rather than Masters. Hope this helps!
