    Tesla delivered 1.8M EVs in 2023. 35% increase from the 1.3M in 2022.

      Over half of the information they are saying about Tesla is WRONG....Yikes.

    So many mistakes in this chat. Some are done by stating old data, not current data. Some are by citing misleading news. Be aware that, in general, the MSM is not favorable to Tesla because Tesla does not do advertizing as compared to its competition that does advertizing. I will give you some references below that tells reality about Tesla.
    1. Tesla sold 1.8 million cars in 2023 (not 1.1 million)
    2. You do not understand the EV market share. EV market share is not important in a growing market like the EV market. What is important is the sale growth overall per year. Tesla has an average of 50% growth per year. EV market share of Tesla lowers because there simply are more companies that sell EVs. What would be more pertinent is the global market share and Tesla is growing in that market.
    3. The CyberTruck is not Tesla's way to get back into the market, Tesla majoritarily owns the EV market and increases its global sales 50% per year in average.
    4. You wonder if the CyberTruck will sell... there are 2.2 million orders and ordered by many people who never had a truck!
    5. The CyberTruck does not have this shape for aerodynamics though it is a factor, it is because the unique Tesla too-hard stainless steel cannot be curved. It can only be folded.
    6. Tesla does not have dealerships, it has Service Centers. Tesla Service Centers do not own Tesla cars, they helps customers in ordering their car online directly to Tesla. They also do repairs and Tesla owns them as compared to Dealerships that are corporations separated from car companies.
    7. You mention that the CyberTruck price is 100k, as if this is the unique price of the CyberTruck. But there are 3 models and the lower price model is 60K available in 2025, the other one is the all-wheel drive at 80K. The 3 motors one (the beast) is 100k. Poor quality you said... that's what the competition would say... Are you their spokesperson?
    8. One said that he likes redundancy and if the back camera is broken you would not be able to see the back with the mirror because the tonneau cover is closed. Then just open the tonneau cover for a while... that is a redundancy per definition. BTW, there are also light indicators of blind spots on the side mirrors.
    9. Gap panels: the comments you got in reference were done on CyberTruck prototypes given to some UA-camrs. That would have been important to be mentioned. Gap pannels were more obvious in old models, a lot less nowadays. But bias people keep the old stuff in mind when it fits the narrative. In 5 years, we will still hear about panel gaps by these folks.
    10. The last comment shows the bias: "EV sucks" with a disdain attitude. Some EV brands suck, not Tesla. Tesla evolves so fast that bias people always are behind the curve and are never current with the facts in their critiques.
    Conclusion: What can we expect from these legacy car people: badly informed, confirmation bias, bias sources, beliefs based on bias firmly anchored, etc. They make me think of those horse-wagon fans who were criticizing the newly built petrol cars coming into the market at the end of the 1800 and the beginning of the 1900, especially the bottom-right split-screen guy... The connectome is stuck in concrete.

      never heard of this channel before but, dang, you are putting in the effort to correct them. at some point you have to view this Tesla/Elon Derangement Syndrome as irrational, and I think these folks are not as dedicated to getting at ground-truth as you may think. a lot of it is just people trying to fit in with their friends, and the camaraderie they get in dunking on it together (even if it's fake, factually incorrect dunking)

This is BASIC ethics when doing the NEWS, and INFORMATIONAL show. Sure, they may be doing it for fun, but if they keep giving out wrong information while being mildly entertaining, they will be forever be seen as bunch of clowns doing the show. It has nothing to do with Elon, or Tesla derangement Syndrome. YOU are also on here MAKING COMMENTS criticizing another with a long a$$ paragraph wasting your time, or are you one of those Tesla Hater???? I am betting 2nd one...

    That black Cybertruck Frans was driving around was early pre-production, so many reviews have gone over the non-existent panel gaps now. Was this recorded weeks ago?

      Their research amounts to clicking on Tesla articles doing hit piece against Tesla, and Elon....They don't even actually do the real research....What do you expect from rich guys that have nothing better to do......

      I can’t speak for the other guys but I (Matt) have driven a Model 3, Model Y and a Plaid. Again, it’s not for me. I can appreciate why some people like them and I can appreciate some of the engineering. I don’t find the yolk in the plaid intuitive, I’m not a fan of the interior ergonomics on any of them and in my opinion, the FSD should not be marketed as full self drive. It should be marketed as advanced cruise control. The disclaimer you have to agree to says it all but most don’t read it, they just click the button on the screen.

    The quality narrative is old news. Tesla has improved it's quality just like all auto manufacturers do as they grow. Fit and finish is just as good as BMW. Believe me I've driven BMWs with worse panel gaps than anything I've seen from Tesla

    So Tesla hasn’t lost market share

    • @elementary9777
      @elementary9777 7 місяців тому +4

      You need to look at it from an automotive market share not electric but overall

    • @iwmaxx
      @iwmaxx 7 місяців тому +1

      @elementary9777 you have it backwards. Yes they have lost EV marketshare, but this is just simple math, as more companies put products into the market they "lose" EV share, but it means nothing. Total automotive they are gaining year over year, they sell everything they make, last year 1.8m

    Tesla DO NOT have Dealerships. THEY OWN those Service centers, AND the Delivery Centers......They have over 2 million preorders, and are getting around 10k orders PER WEEK for the Cybertrucks.

    The other car makers, making EVs and taking market share.. does not ‘cost’ Tesla anything lol. They are selling EVERY car they can possibly produce globally. They have the best selling car in the world, in 2023. You think they care about what percentage that equates to of total EVs? And they are increasing production and sales every year significantly. Market share means dick, when you are selling every single one you can possibly make and continue to grow lol.
    Last point. Tesla has one stated goal of the company. Maybe you guys have missed it. It’s to accelerate the transition of transportation to renewable energy. Something along those lines.. if they have 0% market share in the future, but managed to succeed in transitioning most all transportation to renewables.. I guarantee you, Elon would consider Tesla a 100% success. The guy is not a billionaire because he desires to be a billionaire. He’s a billionaire because he had great ideas to progress the future of humanity, and lots of us agree with his ideas and are willing to throw our money behind his efforts. Sure.. some just like the product. But Tesla’s and Elon’s real success’ are deeper than just genius products. They are based in hope and desire for a better future.
    Ok.. one more last point lol
    I know.. that all sounds corny and idealistic and shit.. lots of people doubt his intentions and motivations.. and his actions and tweets and shit sometimes shoot himself in the foot.. but you gotta realize, the mans part ultra geek.. part socially awkward.. part genius.. and very human. We all do and say dumb shit.. misinterpret some shit.. see things from different perspectives and then get interpreted by others incorrectly. Fact is.. look into the guys life and accomplishments and struggles.. and i dare you to show me a human on earth today doing more to guide humanity to a better future.

      I think your belief in Tesla and musk’s altruism is incorrect. They are there to sell cars. Agree they are a successful and innovative car company but let’s not forget their misrepresentations on Full self driving and range which negatively impact consumers. Also, how do the tunnels in Las Vegas help humanity? That money could have been spent in much more efficient ways.

    • @airheart1
      @airheart1 7 місяців тому +1

      @@jeffsmith9651 how is it a misrepresentation? It is a program in development to conclude in FSD.. call it whatever makes you happy.. that’s what it is in development to be.. and it currently does a pretty damn good job of it.. but yeah, it needs more work. It’s been in Beta for years, yes.. well, it’s not an easy nut to crack. You want them to call it what? It’s so hard to just understand it’s not a completed function? I get that people who want to opt out, and bought in with the expectation it would be complete years ago.. should be refunded their money. I do agree that is a failing of Tesla, to offer that to people who’ve been waiting years.. but clearly they feel the product in development is not a failure and was never promised on any specific date. Kinda lame.. but I always knew, wait until its done and hammered out before you buy in. Others wanted to get in at the cheaper price before it’s ready.. well, this is the result. As for range. You have to be really ignorant to not understand actual range vs EPA estimated. 30 seconds of basic math tell you the exact range left at any moment of use in any specific use case. Their ‘claimed range’ that is so ‘harmful’ to customers.. as you see it.. is based on the F’n EPAs test program. You got a problem with it.. bitch to the EPA to have a more realistic test cycle. Sure, Tesla could opt to report a lower range.. does whatever car you drive report lower MPG than they’re allowed to claim? Do YOU reach your cars claimed MPG all the time? I know I sure AF never did on all my ICE cars prior. They’re all reporting legal figures that CAN be reached.. they just aren’t based on how most of us actually drive. So throw blame around all you want.. the reality is, it’s OUR job as intelligent consumers, to know how we will use the product and adjust for these known issues to extrapolate how it will perform in our specific use case. IMO
      And as for tunnels. Do you live in or near any major city in the world? Or have any experience sitting in traffic for over an hour?
