I am buying piece by piece. And since Freewell said that their system is "future proof," I see this as a long-term investment rather than something that's only suitable for the current model. Getting a new case every year or two is much better than updating pricey filters that no longer fit.
While the idea is great, paying for something that is only compatible with their own cases is meh, I went with the Ulanzi filter adapter that takes standard 62mm and 67 mm filters and got step up rings so I can use my DSLR filters with it, this way I can have one set of high quality filters and use it on all my devices. Too bad they don't have a square filter adapter, that would be even more practical :D
Fair enough! A proprietary solution is not ideal, but most of the potential users of this system don't have mirrorless cameras and filters for those, so don't care about it as much
Hey, as you mentioned "IDEA IS GREAT" we agree with you that was the entire reason to build the system convenience, quick, and practicality. All these adaptors using one filter on all are long available on the market so we created something with the convenience that you can keep in your pocket and shoot anytime anywhere rather than keep on adjusting the adaptor on cases & putting big & bulky filter system than storing them back so it's for those who want to spend more time shooting & less time adjusting adaptors.
@@FreewellGear totally, I just wish you would license the mounting option - if one was to switch from an iPhone at least they can get a 3d printed case or if it gets discontinued. It's just sad when perfectly working equipment is no longer possible to be used. I have a whole bunch of proprietary and just "old gen" products that got axed in just one generation (looking at Apple lol).
@@CRANEREVIEWS We will be adding future iPhone case no doubt about it and as long as there is a demand we are open to adding other phone cases options in the future.
I love this system but it needs to be combine with a good gimbal for maximum sharpness as soon as you user a third party app you lose the stabilization of the stock camera app
Want this for a fraction of the cost? Get yourself a new case, 55-58mm step up ring and get yourself some 58mm cpl, variable nd, mist black or white filters. Bam whole set up for the price of one of sherpas filters.. just glue the step up ring to new case.
@@NOlimitsON I’m confused! It’s not like the shiftcam snapgrip where you can rotate the grip 90 degrees. If i turn the phone vertically how could i use the grip and the shooting button on it? Thx for your reply anyway.
@@NOlimitsONevery photo and video from iphone contain green glares its world most common problem .I was also asking Zdenka Darula about reflections for low light and she told me use CPL filter .But does this eliminate or reduce green glares .
I have a question, what applications for taking photos and recording videos on the iPhone does this freewell work with? because with the app Moment and Halide does not work Bluetooth
14 pro with freewell filters or zve10 with viltrox 23mm f1.4 lens with freewell filter, focus for photos and videos on social networks.... What do you recommend?
How do you like Freewell Sherpa Kit? Do you use filters for your smartphone?

Is it past-proof? Do your older filters work on the system? Say an IR cut on the ND?
You should have a lot more subscribers with the quality of your videos! Enjoyed the review.
Thanks mate) I appreciate it! Stay tuned)

Just ordered the case, grip, and SnowMist filter. Really excited to remove that sharpening.
You'll need 100g counter weights if using on a gimbal. The ND filter is very high quality and quite heavy.

An excellent video. Thank you. Is the phone case compatible with Moment bayonet lenses?

Awesome overview.❤
Are the filters stackable?
Can i use the nd filter with the cpl filter and the put them on the anamorphic lens?
Thanks! Unfortunately these are not stackable and the anamorphic lens has it's own screw-on ND filters in the kit
Does it work with reflections on a whiteboard?
You mean cpl Filter? To a certain degree - yes
@@NOlimitsON nice, thank you!
What about the new iPhone 15 Pro/Max?
I think they’ll make one)
I’m not able to find a compatible version of the case with my iPhone 12 Pro Max… is the 13 pro max case compatible with the 12 pro max?
Not sure it exists
I’ve bought it today but at least i’m in a big doubt. If I want to shoot a vertical video, this product becomes useless! Am i right?
Why? 😅😅 of course you can film vertically easily)

Basic question
This CPL will help to remove those green glares when we are filming at low light ?
Which green glares do you mean? And filming with CPL in low-light is not the best idea anyway, because it also reduces the light a bit

Standard camera app
Which two or three filters would you recommend, and which lens would you suggest: the 1.33x or the 1.55x?
When to use 1-5 vs 6-9 steps?
Sunny day - 6-9, cloudy day - 1-5
@@NOlimitsON so on a regular day at 3pm the 6-9 is the go for?

100% zv-e10 camera. But it does require some kind of extra stabilization when shooting video (tripod/monopod/gimbal)
Merci pour ce test
Avec plesir 😉
Thea cage comens with M MONT? Goes on with moment lenses??
I think no, it’s proprietary to Freewell lenses
Does any company make a system of filters taht can be attack directly to the iphone or (the same filter with an adaptar) be use infront of a LENT?
Don’t know a single one
