Thanks, it's on my list, Their chat service rep said "there are no offers currently"... and we are hearing that even a threat to leave is yielding a "good luck" response. But I'm going to try, I did get a discount last time I tried about two years ago.
local sports stations in NYC Metro (MSG, MSGSN, SNY) are nearly impossible to get outside of cable (Optimum/Altice). I already have outside streaming services. One thought I have is to drop all the cable Movie Premium channels and use cable for only sports and local stuff (+ TBS/TNT/AMC). Movies would be either via streaming paid service (MAX) or free services (Freevee, TUBI, etc). There maybe some savings there... damn cable box rental still is a gotcha. I'm already down to 4 boxes + cable card for 3 tuner HD Homerun
I'm not familiar with your cable provider BUT out here you used to be able to call Cox/Spectrum every 6 months...say "I want a lower rate" and negotiate the next 6 months. Don't know if that works out there but it's worth a try!

Worth a try. If you get "Good Luck" guy...hang up, call back and see if you get the opposite.

Good information. You touch on issues I would think many people do not consider when 'cutting' and only realize after the fact.
Thanks for chiming in and for stopping by!
