Thank you for your information I do wonder though if I should get an indoor antenna he said it’s best outdoors but you didn’t go over which intent is to buy for indoors if I needed one
I really appreciate your knowledge and guidance. I feel like I can make an informed decision now and I am looking forward to saving some money. Thanks!
Thank you for the great video. I really appreciate it. I am a 73 yr old grandma whose husband is dying with aggressive dementia in the nursing home. I desperately need the escape provided by local channels (CBS, FOX, NBC, ABC...), but cannot afford a subscription to any Spectrum package. I just have their internet and wifi. I am trying to figure out what antenna might help meet my needs. Thank you so much for the input.
Love the guides, keep up the good work. In my small town, we are forced to buy OvisLink modems to have our internet connections. It's very very high priced monthly for high speed. Would love to cut the cord, so I'm looking at everything I need to do. I also live in a deep valley in Missouri, and I'm confused at what kind of antenna I need. I'm going to try an inside one first (upstairs) to see if I can get a good signal...rabbit ears do not work here. lol.
I use basic youtube with ad block, anime streaming sites with ad block, DVDs from the library (and yes they get all the newest releases) , OTA antenna and Tubi on every device I own. Don't pay a single penny for streaming or live entertainment.
Just found your channel. I'm looking into cord-cutting options for my parents and while I am tech savvy, I admit, there is alot that seems overwhelming. Great video, went ahead and liked and subscribed. Will be checking out your website as well. It sounds like there are plenty of options out there, it's just a matter of narrowing them down. My only concern, is that one of the 3 TVs my parents have is an old (very well functioning) tube TV. I'm not sure how well some of these options would work for that and it seems like (antennas, for example) you would need one for each TV that you need/want "x" channels on.
Get rid of the Tube TV and buy them a small current TV. They will save money by cutting the cord and on electricity. Also my LG has it’s own LG TV Channel lineup. I am sure the other major brands do also. That and a fire stick and HD Antenna and your tech knowledge to set up they will be in heaven.
Can you teach how to get Roku on your T V. I have the thing you put on your TV ( BUT) I don't know how to make it come into my TV so it will pickup the TV shows I want to see. I have free internet so that's not the problem. Not having the know how is the problem. I
Hisense I need to watch 03 04 I was being I had I go to live TV and I was getting channel 3 or 4 that's just for the cable box I can't get channel 3 or four I was able to get channel 3 I can turn my TV in the live TV but it has to be on Channel 3 and there's nothing on Channel 3 and I've got a it's a cable box but I can't get the it was on my TV for 2 years now it's all the sudden gone it was easy I go to live TV and use my remote for the Box if I can if you can help me what should I do
So in order to cut the cord we need all the local TV stations, and VOiP (landline). We have a user who is not tech savy in our house. We already have Internet with T-Mobile. Anyone?
Thank you so much bc I'm trying to do this for my mom...like now. If you have any others FYI which I can read or should read I would appreciate it the FYI or link. Thank so much. 1st one to post and thumbs up this...
Once moving to antenna, many of us find plenty to watch on the subchannels. Cable companies often don't carry all these channels.
My streaming device is a Amazon fire 4K stick. I upgraded the gigabytes on it to 128 GB and I love it.
But don’t you need internet or wifi to get streaming? How do you get that without cable? You can use your wireless provider for streaming, correct?
Thank you and I will watch again cos I like to save money!
Love ur review on Cutting the Cable Cord.
I am a streamer but I enjoy hearing ur views on cutting the Cord with Cable.

I use DTV Stream, I have a lifetime discount as I was a day one customer. I split the cost with two other people. 3 streams, no waiting.

I purchased a tp link ax1500 wifi 6 router and plugged it in to my fios line and it works perfectly... Returned the router no more rental fees..
Well done! I have always been happier with my own modem and router.
love our Fire Stick and local free antenna service .
Good combo, Marshall. Thanks for sharing.

There is no Fios in my part of the city.
I use Verizon and they only give me 3mg for everything I do in my household is there any way I can get Verizon to increase my speed?
Please advise.
Are you using Fios or mobile?
Excellent information many thanks.
Thanks, Lou.
Between Roku and the internet I get everything I need for free, I haven't paid for cable or satellite in years.
